Dorky Geeky Nerdy Season Three Finale
And another season passes us by. It’s been a long three years. But I don’t have to tell any of you that. A lot has changed since I rolled this show out in February 2019. Some for the good. Some for the not-so-good. But we’re here and we’re still asking (and answering) trivia questions. I hope you enjoy the Season Three Finale.
Thanks for sticking with me for this long. I promise to keep plugging away with new episodes into Season Four (and beyond). As with our past Season Finales, we’ve comprised the Season Three Finale of questions from the past 51 episodes. And the fourth round, aka The Freaky Round? That’s back! So you’ve got 40 questions to deal with this week.
Good luck!
Share your score on Twitter, when you’ve finished this episode. A few folks have started it as a way to brag (or own their screw-ups). Either way, I’d love to hear how you did this week. Just tag us and tag #DorkyGeekyNerdy in your tweet.

1980s Horror Movie Trivia
Snuggle up with someone because it's about to get a little scary. This week, we're heading back in time with some 1980s Horror Movie Trivia. Some were good, some were bad, and some were weird. Like really weird.
As always, it's three rounds of ten questions each. Good luck! Also, this is our last regular episode before the Season Three finale. If you're looking to study for the final exam, now is the time to start!

Nintendo Trivia (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, & More)
It's trivia time. Nintendo trivia time. Our Legend of Zelda episode was pretty popular way back in Season One, so I figured it was time for more of the same. Thirty questions about the very old game company from Japan is what's on the table this week.

Suicide Squad Trivia
It’s do-or-die time, gang. Are you ready for Suicide Squad Trivia? This week, we’ve got thirty questions about those anti-heroes who just want to shave some time off their exceptionally long prison sentences.
This will be our last comic book trivia episode for the season, so drink it in and enjoy it. Season Four is just around the corner.

The Princess Bride Trivia
Trivia. Trivia is what brings us together today. Princess Bride Trivia, to be exact. We've got thirty questions from that fantasy classic. You know it, you love it. Let's do this.
We could use your help with ratings. Podchaser and Apple Podcasts (formerly iTunes) have places where you can leave reviews for the shows you like. Please take a second and leave a review. It's a huge help in boosting us. (Along with sharing the show with your trivia-loving friends).

Alien Movie Trivia
In space, no one can hear your trivia questions. This week, we dive into the dark void with Alien Movie Trivia. That is, movies from the Alien film franchise (not just films with aliens in them).
The first movie from 1979, was probably my first horror film, albeit heavily edited for television. But still, the franchise has stuck with me (and audiences) for a long time now.
When you're done with Alien Movie Trivia, please take a moment to peruse our Dorky Geeky Nerdy Shop. We've got T-shirts and more that look cool and help keep the engines running and the monsters fed. Thank you to everyone that have supported the show these past three years!

Michael Crichton Trivia
Our second episode of 2022 and we’ve got another author episode with Michael Crichton Trivia. The Jurassic Park author wrote a ton of books, created numerous screenplays, and even directed films. How well do you know his works? Let’s test those trivia skills.
When you’re done with Michael Crichton Trivia, we need your help to leave reviews on Podchaser (and elsewhere). Why? Because it lets people know how good the show is and how much you’re enjoying it. It only takes you a few minutes but it’s a huge help in getting the word out. And don’t just review us. Leave reviews for all the podcasts you listen to.
The transcript is available on DorkyGeekyNerdy.com.

The Simpsons Trivia
Congrats! You made it to 2022! Let’s celebrate with donuts! This week, we’re kicking off the year with The Simpsons Trivia. That venerable animated family has been with us since 1989 and has been on the air longer than any single animated series in American TV history. So, we’ve got a lot of ground to cover.
If you’re looking for an easy way to support the show, head over to the Dorky Geeky Nerdy Shop for some cool swag (t-shirts, mugs, and more). Where it out to your next trivia night!
When you’re done with Simpsons Trivia, please leave us a review on Podchaser. We need your votes to help get more ears pointed in our direction.

Transformers Trivia
This week’s episode more than meets the eye. Well, actually, just the subject matter. Otherwise, it’s just another thirty trivia questions and this week, we’re tackling Transformers Trivia.
This is our last episode of 2021, so I want to wish everyone out there a safe and happy New Year. This year wasn’t the one we had hoped for, so here’s to 2022 being better. If you haven’t gotten your booster shot yet, go get one. It’s the best thing we “regular Joes and Janes” can do to push back the pandemic.
And hats off to doctors, nurses, and everyone else out there keeping us safe, healthy, and fed. A double-Happy New Year to you!
We’ll see you back here next year. In the meantime, please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, Podchaser, and now Spotify!

Name That Christmas Movie Trivia
Can you Name That Christmas Movie? We’ll give you three actors from the film and you have to guess the Christmas movie (or a movie that takes place during Christmas).
I know these “Name That” episodes are some of the listeners’ favorites, so why not dive in for the Holidays? As always, you’ve got three rounds of ten questions each. Good luck and happy holidays.
If there’s a film you think we’ve missed, let us know. Also, is there a movie we should not have included? Let the debate begin! Either way, we hope you have fun with Name That Christmas Movie.
The shop is still open, but I don’t know if you’ll be able to get stuff in time for the big day. That shouldn’t stop you from going and looking. Get something for yourself! Ring in the new year with some Dorky Geeky Nerdy swag.

Name That Christmas Song Trivia
They're blaring out of stores and radios, so why not have a little Christmas Song Trivia to kick off the season. This week, I'm giving you a snippet of the lyrics and you've got to guess the song. Some are common tunes and others are more obscure, traditional ones.
Either way, I think everyone is going to have a little fun. Grab some egg nog and let's get started.
Feel like cheating? Here's a Spotify Playlist with all the songs on it.
When you're done with Christmas Song Trivia, please take a moment to review the show on iTunes or Podchaser. We need to those votes and support to help boost the show. There's also a little bit more time before Christmas to order some Dorky Geeky Nerdy merchandise. That's a great way to support the show and help pay our bills.
Other than Name That Christmas Song Trivia, what other holiday-themed episodes would you like to hear next year?

The Hobbit Trivia (Book & Film)
All snuggled up in your Hobbit hole? Let’s get into some Hobbit Trivia for this week’s show. We covered The Lord of the Rings way, way back in Episode Four, so it’s high time we got to the original work by JRR Tolkien.
As always, it’s three rounds of ten questions each. Miss too many and there’s no second breakfast for you.
Also: 150 episodes! Seems like the episodes are just flying by.
There’s still time to check out the Dorky Geeky Nerdy Shop. Get something nice for the hobbit, elf, or dwarf in your life.

World War Two Trivia
Listener request! And I've been wanting to tackle World War II trivia for some time. I know it's a little jarring to jump from Peanuts to World War II, but we've got a lot of ground to cover here at DGN. So let's dive in.
As always, it's three rounds of ten questions each. If you need rules or scorecards, you can find them here.
When you're done, check out the Dorky Geeky Nerdy Shop. It helps to pay the bills here (we're pretty low-maintenance, but every little bit helps).

Peanuts Trivia (Charlie Brown & Snoopy)
I don't know about you, but Thanksgiving makes me think of Charlie Brown and Snoopy. So, this week, we're going to do some Peanuts Trivia for this week's show.
Here in the US, it's Thanksgiving week. A time for food, fun, and traditions. One of the traditions in our house to sit and watch some of the Peanuts holiday specials.
This week's show features a promo for a very cool little podcast, Tea Time Thoughts.
A lot of people find history or reading or classical music boring, but I'm determined to take things out of the classroom setting and show you how fun it can be! In the time it takes to make a cup of tea, I'll teach you everything from the Black Plague to Opera to Pride and Prejudice. We're going to tackle it all in a fun, laid-back setting!I'm Caylyn and welcome to a little corner of the Internet where we can talk history, arts, music, culture, philosophy, literature, and more! Have a cup of tea with me and let's chat!

Name That Superhero Trivia
Can you name the superhero with only their compatriots and villains? That's the goal of this week's Name That Superhero Trivia game. I give you three people that are associated with the hero, you just have to name them. Simple format, challenging trivia.
And here's a reminder that the Dorky Geeky Nerdy Shop is open and ready to drop some show merchandise into your life.
When you're done with our Superhero Trivia, please leave us a quick review on Apple Podcasts and Podchaser. We need your help in spreading the word and reviews are quick and easy way to do it. You can also share the show with your trivia-loving friends.

Battlestar Galactica Reboot Trivia
Do you have a plan to score well on today's episode? Well, good luck with this week's show, Battlestar Galactica Reboot Trivia. We're heading back to the days of 2004 before we had any idea of what this reboot of a 1970s show would look like. Have fun and see you again next week!
Update: I had the episode in the can when the news came in about the passing of Dean Stockwell, who played John Cavill on the show. Dean Stockwell had a wide and varied career with many roles we geeks would love from Dune to Quantum Leap. RIP, Mr. Stockwell. You will be missed.
A little side-note, the Dorky Geeky Nerdy Shop is now open! Get some merch from the show (and keep it going).
When you're done with Battlestar Galactica Reboot Trivia, we need your feedback. Use the quick little form below to let us know what you thought of today's show. There's a similar form on every episode, so don't be shy.

Batman Trivia
Holy Trivia Questions! It’s time for some Batman Trivia. One-Hundred-Forty-Five episodes in and I’m just now getting to the Caped Crusader. Try not to hold it against me.
This week, we’re correcting that oversight and bringing you thirty trivia questions about that masked vigilante from Gotham. Three rounds, ten questions each. Good luck and I’ll see you again next week.
In the meantime, please take a few moments to help support the show. We’ve need your reviews on Podchaser and Apple Podcasts (and anyplace else you might find us). It’s a huge help in getting the word out on the show.

Stephen King Trivia

When you're done with Stephen King Trivia, be sure to check out our other episodes (horror-themed or not). We could also use your reviews on iTunes and Podchaser. Star Trek Prequel Movie Trivia
It’s time to go back in time to visit the Final Frontier. This week, we're covering Star Trek Prequel Trivia. Specifically, the three films that have come out since 2009. The films were divisive, to say the least, but they did gross a lot of money and renewed interest in the franchise after it went dormant in 2005 with the end of Star Trek: Enterprise.
So, this week, we're celebrating Star Trek's 55th birthday with thirty trivia questions. Good luck and Live Long & Prosper.

Grab some cereal, your Underoos, and don't wake Mom and Dad, it's time for 1980s Cartoon Trivia! This week, we're heading back to the time where cartoons for kids were just 30-minute long toy commercials. But we didn't mind. We loved every single minute of it.

Name that Sci-Fi TV Show Trivia
Who is ready for some Sci-Fi TV Trivia? With the pandemic raging on, I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s caught up on every old show that’s available on streaming.
This week, the set up is pretty simple. I give you three members of a show’s cast, you just have to name the Sci-Fi show they were all on. There’s a twist, that I won’t reveal just yet, but I’m sure you smart cookies will figure it out.
This is our first regular episode of Season Three. We’re back to the normal three rounds of ten questions each. If you want rules or a score card, you can find them on our Rules page.

Two-Year Anniversary Special
Two years ago, we launched this weird little show and you're all still listening! We're not the top Trivia Podcast, but we're still growing. Thanks to everyone that's tuned in and a special thanks to everyone that's helped share the show.
If you're new here, welcome to the show. This is not our usual format. This week, for our two year anniversary, we're selecting questions from past topics covered in the last year. This episode is also special as it has forty questions instead of our usual thirty. An extra 10 questions as my present to you for your support this last year in making us a great Trivia Podcast.
Starting with this episode, we have new music. This season's theme music is Skinny Leonard by Jason Shaw. You can find Jason's music at Audionautix.com. Grab some royalty free music for your podcast, video, or whatever.
Hopefully, by the time we have our three-year anniversary, Covid-19 will be a distant, distant memory. Good luck and enjoy this week's show.

Untold History Trivia
As we work our way through Black History Month, I’m struck by all the stories being presented that never showed up in our history books. At least, not the ones used in Elementary and High School. So, I got to thinking, what other stories are out there? What are we missing? So, this episode is dedicated to the untold stories. The weird, the unusual, and the uncomfortable. So, whos is ready for Untold History Trivia?
This one is going to be a little harder than our usual fare, but bare with me, I think you’ll like learning something new if you didn’t know it before. If you did know it, great you’re probably reading a lot more than most of us.
As always, it’s three rounds of ten questions each. If you need rules or a score card, visit the show’s website at dorkygeekynerdy.com.
