Season 8: Episode 10: How to make time to write your book!
𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌! If you have ever said, "I don’t have time to write a book", and you know that you really do want to write one, listen carefully to this! There are five things that you need to do in order to create time to write your book. Let me give you a hint: none of them includes going on a two week writing retreat! Season 8: Episode 9: Life Is a Terminal Condition…
𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝑰𝒔 𝒂 𝑻𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏…
(Why You Need This in Your Life)
Life…
Is a terminal condition.
No one makes it out alive.
You have as much time as you have life because your time is your life.
What are you doing with your life?
Are struggling and juggling many different roles? Do you find yourself going through the motions and not getting anywhere?
Do you sometimes feel as though you don’t know what you want? Do you need focus and clarity?
Do you need help to achieve your goals?
Do you want to look back on your life and feel like you have achieved something great?
If you said yes to any of these questions, then you need a life coach.
What can a life coach do for you?

Season 8: Episode 8: People will hate you for this! Do it anyway!
𝑷𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒊ll 𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔! 𝑫𝒐 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒘𝒂𝒚!
𝘽𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖 𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧.
How to recognize them?
1. They “play savior” when you have troubles but disparage or ignore your successes.
2. They do their best to undermine your independent thinking.
3. They “pull rank” on you frequently.
4. They may remind you of your past mistakes. #MoveOnBruh
5. When you are with them, all your self doubt surfaces.
6. The bolder you get, the more uncomfortable with you they become.
7. They may call you ungrateful when you legitimately no longer need their help. #AfterAllIveDoneForYou
8. Their “help” usually comes with strings.

Season 8: Episode 7: Avoid this dangerous group of people!
𝑨𝒗𝒐𝒊𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆! I have often talked about how it’s not necessary to be a people pleaser. I have talked about how it can rob you of your life, when you spend all your time and energy, running from pillar to post trying to do the bidding of others. You have no time for your own priorities because you inherently see yourself as less important than other people. Many people pleasers also pick and choose who they will “please” and who they will “recruit” to join their “people-pleasing lifestyle”. Here is a word if you are someone who has a lot of people pleasers in your life: 1. They will subtly try to make you behave like them. 2. They will rather you shut up, and go along to get along. 3. When you stand up for yourself, a people pleaser will make you feel as though you are the bad guy. 4. They may secretly resent the fact that you have agency and you use it. 5. They are NOT victims. 6. People-pleasing is a form of control. People pleasers think that they have to “make everybody happy“. You cannot try to control everyone’s emotions, because you do not want to feel uncomfortable ones. 7. If you find yourself constantly in a tug-of-war with a people pleaser, and you are not one, try your best to extricate yourself from their drama, before they take you down with them.

Season 8: Episode 6: How To Develop Confidence As A Woman
𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝑻𝒐 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑨𝒔 𝑨 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏 1. 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙨: Focus on your accomplishments and the things you're good at. Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small they may seem. Remind yourself of your strengths, skills, and talents, and use them to your advantage. 2. 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘: Pay attention to your self-talk and challenge negative thoughts. Replace negative self-talk with positive affirmations. For example, instead of saying "I can't do this," say "I'm capable of handling this." 3. 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛: Self-care is essential for building confidence. Make time for activities that make you feel good, such as exercise, meditation, or spending time with friends and family. 4. 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚: Spend time with people who uplift and support you. Avoid those who bring you down or make you feel inferior. 5. 𝙎𝙚𝙩 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: Set realistic goals for yourself and take action to achieve them. Break down larger goals into smaller, manageable steps, and celebrate each milestone along the way. 6. 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨: Building new skills can help you feel more confident and capable. Take a class, read a book, or join a group that interests you. 7. 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨: Speak up for yourself and assert your needs and boundaries. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want or say no when necessary. Remember, building confidence is a journey, and it takes time and effort. Be patient with yourself, and celebrate your progress along the way. Season 7: Episode 2: Familial Duty vs Personal Growth: Something Has To Give!
The other day, someone made a comment about the struggle between familial duty and personal growth.
1. Realize that you have to do both: Many people feel that it is one or the other. This is like saying that you will take a shower or brush your teeth. No! You have to do both.
2. Your personal growth will improve your ability to do your familial duty well.
3. You will model both effectively for your children and family members
4. The idea is not to dedicate the same amount of time to each thing, but the appropriate amount of time, energy and resources to both.
5. You might resent your family if later on in life, they do not prioritize you over themselves or their own personal growth.
Need to “find the balance”?

Season 6: Episode 6: Explaining Calculus To A Cockroach (What To Do When You Cannot Get Through)
* There are people who are committed to misunderstanding you.
* There are people who will argue with you even if you believe the same things (they are just contradictory and contrarian). *
There are some people who will argue with you just because it’s you.
* Those same people when they hear from others, they will not say “pim” * There are some people whose worldview is vastly different from yours and you still have to co- exist with them * If logic did not get them there, logic will not get them out.
What to do?
* Step back
* Remove your own emotions from the situation
* Think about a bug, and that you are trying to teach it calculus.
* Ask yourself: can they receive what I am giving
* Last but not least, always remember that you can explain something to people, but you cannot understand it for them.

Season 6: Episode 3: My parents have sex?? EW!!
What happens when our “roles” in peoples lives change?
* Instead of trying to fit into someone else’s framework, just to keep the peace and keep your relationship with them, it is better to be your authentic self and let the chips fall where they may.
* If you need to make changes necessary for your growth as a person, do it. It can be argued that anyone that doesn’t want you to grow and become better should probably be at the periphery of your life, and not at the center.
* Don’t remain angry when people’s attitudes toward the “New You” change. Instead of being angry and trying to force them to accept this better version of you, just re-direct your energy and emotions to the new crop of supporters that will inevitably come your way.
* Don’t over explain yourself. Remember, those who truly matter won’t mind and those who mind don’t really matter.
* Make your growth a priority. That way, you will not be distracted by other people’s attitudes.
*Don’t condescend. Just accept that some people will be ok with the NEW YOU and some people won’t.

Season 6: Episode 1: Sharing My Story/ What To Do When You Feel Overwhelmed
They say when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Well when life seems to have you in knots and you have more tasks and less time, here is what to do..
1. Remember you can only do one thing at a time. Worrying about all the things you have to do is not going to get them done.
2. Making a to do list is so that you don’t forget tasks, not something to beat yourself up with, when you “only” do 25 things out of 50.
3. Instead of working off a “to do list”, take the things from the list in order of urgency (deadlines) and importance, and assign them spots on your calendar.
4. Use a calendar/ schedule
5. Delegate, hire and outsource, and don’t micromanage.
6. Make peace with an imperfect life.
7. Do calming activities so that you don’t feel frantic (frantic feelings make you feel like everything is worse than it is)- meditation, breathing exercises, being out in nature etc.
8. Share your struggles with a close trusted friend.

Dear doctor,
1. Take care of your health. Don’t pretend to be a superhero. Because, the day you crumble, everything you’re holding up will crumble too. Also because you just need to.
2. Burnout is common, but not necessary. You do not have to fall prey to this scourge.
3. Develop a healthy identity that doesn’t involve you being a superman, a savior, a martyr, or a fixer.
4. If you suffered certain things on your path to becoming a doctor, it doesn’t mean that you get to subject Junior Doctors to the same suffering. Do better.
5. Get the best job you possibly can.
6. Don’t fall prey to the belief that there are no better jobs out there. Remember, there is a Physician shortage, not a patient shortage.

4. Draw boundaries around your spending too: Don’t borrow money you don’t have, to buy things you don’t need, to impress people you don’t like.
