This episode is all about scoring a film, especially with traditional melodies, chords. Ed shows his process for melodic composing on the piano that is made to synchronize to the film. It’s a fun, and light description of composing on a computer using a “DAW” (Digital Audio Workstation). This is a great show for filmmakers, composers, performers, and anyone interested in the music of film. (Includes live performance of examples).
