Yalor Mewn enjoys traveling and networking like no other; which gives him the opportunity to share his experiences with communities and DAOs all over the world. Yalor is a DAO-native builder and the co-creator of RaidGuild, a premier design and developer DAO. In 2019, he became part of MetaCartel, a pioneering grant DAO at the epicentre of Web3 innovations and crypto experiments. In his role, Yalor is responsible for bringing people together and guiding them through their Web3 and DAO journeys. We’ll be talking about why not everything needs to be a DAO, how MetaCartel supports early Web3 product teams, and the cultural shift that DAOs can, and hopefully will, produce.

A former chef, Daniel learned early on in his career that the people doing all the work in the kitchen, have great ideas that are seldom ever heard This led him on a journey in organizational design, where he discovered Web3 and DAOs. Seeing a lot of duplication of efforts in the ecosystem, he founded RnDAO - A research and development DAO with the goal of doing research on behalf of DAOs and publishing it open source.

Eric is an architect at Dora Factory- a DAO-as-a-Service infrastructure for on-chain governance, and the founder/CEO of DoraHacks -  a global hacker movement and one of the most active hackathon communities in the world. We’ll be talking about the inspiration behind the name, the genesis behind Dora, and about building grant DAOs.

Based in Moscow, Egor is a co-founder of XDAO and Anna is the CMO. Together, they’re figuring out how to manage money on the blockchain. Specially investors money. While exploring Web3, they found that there was a gap in financial management tools for DAOs. What was needed was something more advanced than a simple multisig like Gnosis, but less complicated than Aragon. So they built it. XDAO is in the middle - A multichain DAO builder tool for the financial management of funds, NFTs, gaming guilds. We’ll be talking about that, how their DAO combats voter apathy, the future of crypto regulations in Russia, and a bunch of tother things.

With Kolektivo, Ruben's working on Regenerative Finance. Somewhat similiar to DeFi but it takes nature and climate into account to tokenize natural assets to back community currencies. This means that the value of a currency is linked to the health of your ecosystem. We’ll also be talking about how DAOs can address climate change, as well as his challenges in introducing Web3 and DAOs to Curacao. 

He’s a former biophysicist who’s living in Sydney. Originally studying quantum computing hardware, he stumbled upon the blockchain, open source, and the idea of “crazy internet money” and got obsessed with Web3. After dabbling in various DAOs, he founded BitFwd - a boutique crypto asset investment fund and venture builder for blockchain projects.

Spencer is a product manager for DAOhaus, and a RaidGuild contributor. During his Web3 travels, he's noticed that there are usually 2 kinds of people in DAOs - those that dip their finger in multiple projects, and those who focus on one project only. Now, he's championing incentive based mechanisms that make people share their availability and generate stronger commitments via token staking. That, and he thinks that DAOs can be an answer to climate change. 

With a background in math, magic, psychology, film, and design, Andrej is the founder behind DeepWork - a design firm that works with both Web2/Web3 organizations, building what he calls “containers for people” - teams packed with specialized individuals, that are sent to clients when needed. Only working 4 hours a day, he says life should be about finding your personal freedom and doing meaningful things while providing a service.

Julian started off building in the open Web2 space building idea behind RSS feeds. While doing this, however, he realized that the web, as it existed, was too limiting, and relied too much on Silicon Valley, and multiple passwords. He’s now working on the Unlock Protocol - a permissionless and decentralized membership protocol for Web3, accessed by your wallet, and far away from Google and Facebook’s prying eyes.

Adrien has been a songwriter, touring musician, artist manager, and record label owner. In fact, he’s done pretty much everything in the music business except get his royalties on time.  After a quick crypto education he founded Reveel which uses smart contracts and NFTs to ensure that artist royalties and credits are distributed to the right people as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Diving deep into Crypto early on, Victor is looking to make DeFi accessible to everyone. After losing money in crypto, then earning some of it back, he realized that stablecoins offered ways to invest, save, and earn yield. Co-founding Ambrosia, a DeFi portfolio management company specializing in investing and saving crypto-currencies, he's now bringing his ideas to the season 4 cohort of the Binance Incubation Labs.

From dreaming about being a pharmacist to becoming an art teacher, to participating in the Occupy Brazil movement, and ending up as an illustrator for a Brazilian comedy/pornography show aimed at taxi/truck drivers, Elco’s journey into DAOs defies explanation but makes for a great story. He’s now running Kollektivo Labs and serves as a mentor to other DAOs.

Toronto-based Mark is passionate about a lot, but 2 things stand out for him: Skiing and how he can help communities to create legal entities that allows to distribute ownership and incentives with its members and creators. Mark believes that not every DAO has to be focused on Crypto and Web3. Instead, DAOs should democratize access and the power of the tools. As a result he started Myco providing communities with an easy and quick way to launch LLCs that are collectively owned.

A former gamer, ”Nintendo Nick” aka “Nintynick,”is working as an alchemist at RaidGuild. He's also founded a DAO called EvenGov, trying to build a playbook for traditional organizations to progressively decentralize into a DAO. He's also studied Artificial Intelligence, which explains why his intellectual curiosity lies in the intersection of DAOs and AI.

Joshua Lapidus is a former Web2-er. He helped Lyft to get to their IPO and then he was let go His exit from Lyft convinced him that an organization's success should be shared with employees using incentives and tokenomics.   Back in 2020 though, he was ready to take any job as long as it would pay his health insurance. Now, he's helping Opolis build a Web3 HR framework for both Web3 full-timers and off-chain contractors. He's also a steward at SporkDAO who we all have to thank for EthDenver.

StarPause is an electronic musician and producer who sells NFTs at his concerts, who's been known to conduct DAO workshops in beach cabanas. As a project manager for AstroDAO, the NEAR Protocol and founder of the arts nonprofit CODAME, he's realized that DAOs and NFTs are so easy to understand, that even a drunk person can make one. That, and DAOs are the perfect mechanisms to manage, recognize, and pay artists for work that can’t always be measured by traditional systems.

MetaDreamer realized very early on while mining Bitcoins during high school, that with DAOs, organizations can be used for the greater good. He's active across many of them, including TheMetaFactory, where he produces "digi-physical" goods. We'll be talking about how the DAO space depends on making them more accessible for everyone, not just those of us that are already in the DeFi and crypto space and how DAOs can really find the gig economy and make the world a better place for freelancers.

Kevin is a Danish Peruvian first-time founder that grew up in Spain and now lives in  New York. In a 2018 hackathon he started what today is Boardroom that provides users with easy access to the governance tools of their DAOs. We will be talking about his journey into DAOs and learning about governance, incentives, transparency. We talk a lot about how Boardroom Labs makes it easier for humans to interact with DAOs and how they can get rewarded along the way. We explore how DAO can in the future substitute companies as we know them today.

Will is the founder of Grassroots Economics Foundation and is focused on currency innovation. Living in East Africa since 2008, Will is dedicated to connecting communities to their own abundance and is an advocate for, and designer of, currencies for poverty eradication, sustainable development, and economic empowerment. Will shares his journey and revelations in activism, community currencies, and his quest to know how far he can push technology to empower people. With the Grassroots Economics Foundation, Will has set out to inspire and help Kenyan villages create their own local economies and enrich themselves with their own community currencies.
