Season 3: Grief Is A Thief!

Season 3: Grief Is A Thief!

In this episode, Eileen shares her struggle with grief throughout the years. Losing her dad at the tender age of twenty-one, she opens up about what led to a ripple in their relationship and how she worked to rebuild that father-daughter bond right before his passing in 1999. Eileen did this episode as her father's 20th year anniversary of death approaches this week. She wanted to share a bit of her feelings after 20 years and the way the grief can sneak up on her at any given moment. The importance of this episode is to remind us that it's okay to grieve and that it can happen at any time. The most important thing is to allow the process to take place and to remind yourself that it's okay. She hopes this serves someone, somewhere.

Ep #17: We Must Do Better By Our Children

In this episode, I discuss the importance of doing better by our children. As parents and as adults, we need to lead by example. We must put our phones down and spend more quality time with our children. It's important for parents to have daily "talks" with their offspring and get to know what is going on with them behind the scenes. In my heart, if we get to the root of the problem, there would be less chaos in our world and our future would be that much brighter.
