August will be sharing a part of his Passion Project on hockey with an original reader's theater, NHL Jeopardy. He will be joined by fourth graders Alex and Bella. Art Supplies for Ukraine
Thank you for listening to "The Eagle's View", fifth grader Alex returns to host this special episode. The third graders Kayden, Brenna, Olivia and Dia from Emerson’s Kaleidoscope Group have organized a drive to collect art supplies for children in Ukraine. Fifth grader Nathan shares "A Day in the Life" of a cat and fourth grader Roya has a public service announcement about food insecurity. We also have as always, "The Joke of the Week".
Please donate those art supplies to Emerson before May 22nd for the children of the Ukraine.

Welcome to a very special episode of "The Eagle's View", which will be our submission to the fifth annual NPR Student Podcast Challenge! Fifth grader Evan hosts this episode where the roles have been reversed, kids will be teaching adults! Our fifth grade teachers are Ella (learning), Online Teacher Alex (creativity) and Arzoee (forgiveness). Blake and Cody have also contributed with original music created in Emerson's AMP program. Just because this is school does not mean we can not have a laugh, so as always we have "The Joke of the Week."

This month is Women's History Month! – commemorating and encouraging the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in history. Also, in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, March is designated as National Reading Month - a month to motivate Americans of all ages to read every day. This month we will be celebrating both each week.

Thankful Eagles
Fifth grader Ceci is making her hosting debut on the "Being Thankful" episode of "The Eagle's View." Ceci is joined by fellow fifth graders and Girl Scouts Audrey, Hema and Olivia. They are thankful for all that Emerson has given them, so they share their plans for giving Emerson an indoor game cabinet. The fourth graders have written an original reader's theater called "The Long Lost Siblings." Fifth grader Evan researched some facts about Thanksgiving and he asked his classmates to share what they are thankful for.
