Dick Allen’s numbers are Hall of Fame caliber, however racially-charged critics have prevented him from getting there as of the airing of this podcast. Aside from Allen’s individual accomplishments in baseball, he played a vital role in the development of Hall of Famers such as Mike Schmidt and Goose Gossage.
