However, working remotely hasn’t been a negative experience for her. In fact, she’s enjoyed the experience a lot, preferring it to being in-office, and she’s not the only one. Many employees across the globe have found remote work to be a more desirable alternative to returning to their offices. In my conversation with Hanna we broke down her experiences so far and some things employers should consider moving forward.

S1E12: Why Implementing Account-Based Marketing Drives Growth with Allyson Jansen and George Mergen
Account-based marketing is a big concept when first considering and it takes patience to implement, but it’s worth the marathon. Account-based marketing is targeted marketing meant to engage specific and targeted accounts with each campaign.
Our guests are George Mergen and Allyson Jansen from Concentrek, a strategic marketing agency based out of Toledo, Ohio. George is the Senior Account Executive and Allyson is the Director of Content Marketing. They help a wide variety of clients in different industries with long-term goals and strategic planning. We sat down with them to discuss both account-based and content marketing. Businesses use content marketing more and more as consumers grow tired of sales pitch after sales pitch. More are seeking information and knowledge from businesses instead of catchy or appealing ads. But that is only the tip of the iceberg. A marketing strategy is not complete without embracing account-based marketing.

S1E11: How to Use Software to Increase Your Productivity with Gavin Koontz and Erika Navarette
From being able to manage leads at a faster rate and with less hassle to being able to cut back on forgetfulness and human error in the workplace, CRMs are here to stay, and here’s why!
Erika Navarette and Gavin Koontz were Neil Thobani’s first thought when I mentioned doing a podcast episode with Smart Financial. He saw a great opportunity to share the expertise of his team with our audience and we couldn’t agree more! Erika is an Account Executive Team Lead with Smart Financial and Gavin is a Senior Account Executive.
We wanted to work with Smart Financial for this episode because when the world went remote, it was usually a company’s technology that helped determine if they would be able to transition an office that had once been in-person. CRMs are browser-based customer management tools that, for many, have already been the edge up in their field. Erika and Gavin help break down why that is and what things to look for if you’re in the market for your own CRM.

Jamie Rofkar is the HR Generalist for Double A Solutions and SHRM certified. She leads the way in helping establish HR practices, such as recruitment and hiring. Jamie is a go-getter with the ability to connect easily to the people she meets and has greatly enjoyed the usual face-to-face aspect of the hiring process.
With current shifts due to COVID-19, Jamie has had to take those processes home with her and adopt a remote interviewing process. She has taken the approach of being compassionate and understanding, realizing that not everyone has the same accommodations, especially now, and focuses instead on the factors that could make that interviewee a good addition to the team.
