Everyday Titans

Adam Wilson is the founder of a Vancouver-based design firm, Polyform Studio™. Since its founding, he and his team has helped more than a 100 different startups get off the ground. They pride themselves in designing great consumer products at the intersection of the physical and the digital. They have also helped bigger brands like Coca-Cola, Uniqlo, Red Bull, Hootsuite, evo, GrubHub, Clover, Mogo and Momentus among others, with their expertise within the arenas of Mobile Apps, Augmented Reality, Experiential Retail, Consumer IoT and the Web. They believe that the path to ubiquitous computing along with the merge with artificial reality is well paved and we are very well on our way towards that future.

Jeremy Martin is the founder and head strength coach of the Vancouver-based fitness company, Loaded Athletics. Since its inception, the local fitness hub has been part of the ever-expanding community of general fitness clients, athletes training for their sports, hobbyist lifters, competitive powerlifters, weightlifters and online programming clients. This community is supported by Loaded's core philosophy of realizing the true potential of the human body with proper training, movement and lifestyle. Jeremy and his partner believe that the more functional movements we can provide the body with, the better it will function on a more holistic level, improving the baseline physical and mental health. 

Govind Mohan is a co-founder and the lead developer at the Toronto based blockchain startup, Virgil Systems. He believes that all humans have the right to self-expression, and that the decentralization of digital communications technologies and the Internet is the key to enabling that in a more sustainable and humane way. He and his team are working on a peer-to-peer data integrity network that ensures reliable data replication and transmission while maintaining user privacy in a bid to overhaul the backbone of our communications infrastructure.

Afshin Mehin is the founder of the Vancouver and San Francisco based design studio Card79 (previously Woke). He believes that product design is an avenue into the future and just like palm reading, it is a roadway to accessing what lays ahead of us. He and his team of designers and makers have worked with companies like Neuralink, Postmates, Lululemon and Amazon among others, in an effort to bridge cutting-edge, radical concepts with beautiful product design. 

Nicholas Hui is a co-founder and the chief product officer of a Canadian Pharmacy Care Technology startup, MedMe Health based out of Toronto, Ontario. They believe in creating a new status quo for proactive pharmacy care. And for them it starts with creating data-driven software to replace the dated, disparate existing data silos.
