Episode 48: Duck from Joystick
Back in action with a new episode, on this one I try out this remote guest thing. Duck, from the NOLA ska band, Joystick joins me to partake in this test of tests. For the game part I try to trick or treat JRPG style with the game Costume Quest. Listen as not only do we talk about his band Joystick, we also catch up with an audience to catch up with us. That includes music tastes, moving to New Orleans, PEARS connections to Joystick, and things we are doing during the self quarantine.
Episode 47: Corey Skowronski and Brandon Kellum
At least one more episode before Concerts To Consoles may take a hiatus or figure out creative ways to continue until safe for everyone. I couldn't ask for better and more upbeat guests than Corey and Brandon Kellum, both of American Standards and Corey of Life and Limb. This episode has another bunch of favorite guys playing music on that go by FoL or First or Last to those who may not like acronyms. On the docket is the original Halo: Combat Evolved for the original Xbox that clearly made for the right choice. Though while we are taking on each other in places like Blood Gulch, listen as we chat about where the band came from, the Dad Joke challenge, what if we made a Every Show Joe hazmat suit, and more!

The guys of OFA regale us with not just tales from being local Heavy Metal rockers, but tales from working at Wendys and very competitive foosball. While we chat, we tackle the karts, hovercrafts, and planes of Diddy Kong Racing on the N64.
Episode 44: Miles To Nowhere
This episode bringing a perfect example of getting really into with a game, as we start with Phantasy Star Online but jump into the crazy antics of Warioware on the GameCube. Kristen and Rich from Miles To Nowhere those joining me in getting into the crazy randomness. Meanwhile, the conversation does pick up for origins of Galaxy Punk and stories from the road by the end. Not to mention, Andy, from NEATO and Point 9 Percent, swings by for a little.

This episode brings a favorite Phoenix Rockabilly band by with the Limit Club! We discuss things like our dreams, what bands they grew up with, recommend listening if you are getting into Rockabilly and Psychobilly, and more. All the while we chat we play the variety of Playstation 1 titles including Twisted Metal 2, 2 Xtreme, and Tekken 2.
Episode 42: Ethan 103
This episode grabbed from the Twitch copy of the stream and brings a band I've known for a long time now, to the days of the beginning of the nickname Every Show Joe, and that band is Ethan 103. We got the entire crew in for it as we tackle a Valentine's Day week appropriate game, Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime. We chat about their long music history as musicians and the band, games, old venues that have closed, stories from two birthday shows I've put together, and more.
Episode 41: Logan Miracle and Kody Rattler
On the podcast feed and Youtube, Concerts to Consoles brings part Pokémaster Kody Rattler and Logan Miracle of After The Calm! With that, we tackle the camera skills to capture Pokemon in Pokemon Snap. We chat about the band's beginnings, 2019 favorite albums, the detriments of the normalization of hard drugs in music, touch on the infamous Penis Man(har har), and plenty more!
Episode 40: No Lungs
Marking one year of Concerts to Consoles, my guests are another one that should already be on your watch list with No Lungs! For the anniversary, of course our most requested game is played, Super Smash Bros Ultimate. While Sam and Ryan show off their dominating Super Smash Bros skills, Austin turns out great tales and tangents of stories throughout this episode.
Episode 39: Acne Superstar
Acne Superstar is the latest up for a little gaming and chatting. We tackle the hard, yet fun, shmup classic Gunstar Heroes on the Sega Genesis. You will see four of the bosses of each level by the end. This episode we talk about first bands, a few of our favorite local band members stage banter, recording their new album, the Middle East and a little politics.
Episode 38: Drea Doll and Gaby Kaos
The first new episode of 2020 brings The Venomous Pinks' Drea Doll and Gaby Kaos by. While clearly the attention is more on the conversation, we work to play another famous pink hero of video games in Kirby's Dream Course on the SNES. We talk about things from the multiple projects going on with the band from their Sound Sisters podcast to new music, their expanding touring and reach, plus other random conversations!

Figured I wouldn't leave you hanging without one more episode before the end of 2019. On this one I reflect on the first year of Concerts to Consoles. I go into games I played this year including my favorite of 2019.

From two killer bands, Playboy Manbaby and Instructions, TJ Friga joins me for cooperative Streets of Rogue on the Switch! As we try different classes in the humorous roguelike, conversations include his deep music history, getting into touring life, teaching at School of Rock, and Earthbound on one of the most engaging episodes I've had!
Episode 28: Kalen Lander
This episode brings half of Snailmate, Kalen Lander, on for a little Jet Set Radio Future while it plays on Xbox. We chat things of his music origins, tour life, Snailmate's tour life, Long Wongs, social media and more.
Episode 27: Reason Unknown
Reason Unknown and the Simpsons Arcade game is the combo on this one. We chat about where they started, how they know each other, and even the west side of Phoenix and the lack of music venues over there on this episode.

Four player stealth gaming is the name of Monaco's game, and Twin Ponies is the band that joins me as we attempt our cooperative adventure on the Xbox 360 version. We chat about their band, music and games with it.
Episode 25: Tyler Silva
Stopping by is Tyler Silva of Rundown Roommates and Squared for the return of Super Smash Bros to the stream. A challenge that started over at the Gio and Meatbag show, branches over this show. We talk about the bands, Smash Bros, and our dream Smash Bros character to be maybe added in the last two unannounced DLC characters.

Started as Twisted Metal, and went on an adventure through a couple games like Destruction Derby, Ridge Racer R4, and Super Puzzle Fighter on the Playstation Classic.

Episode 23 brings two of the three Birth of Monsters. We start out with the monster related game of the Midway Arcade Origins collection and try out a few others as we chat. We touch on music origins and history in the Phoenix music scene along with my favorite concert I've attended.

A fast paced game for a fast paced punk band as Skull Drug joins me on this episode for F-Zero GX. In the biggest amount of guests on an episode to date, we chat about the origins of the band, an old album release show, a few video games, and quite a few good anecdotes from their time as a band over the years!

Skeleton Army swings by to play a pair of games on this episode. First, Ghoul Patrol, the sequel to Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and then Mutant League Football as we chat all things band, politics, and video games.

Tackling the challenge of Cuphead on Xbox One with Salah, from Audrey Heartburn, Brother Teresa, and Harper and the Moths, while we chat his move here, bands, and his video gaming habits!
Episode 13: It's Embarrassing
This week it is the band, It's Embarrassing, bringing one of the games with a killer soundtrack, Tony Hawk 3. We talk about about the band, and a little more personal information. There was a little technical issue for the first 25 minutes, but that would be rectified with a pretty listenable episode so enjoy!
Episode 12: Brian Willey
On this episode, Madd Dog Tannen's Brian Willey joins me to chat about the band, including when it had a ska brass section, Batman, Back to the Future, and more. We chat all the while playing Paperboy 2 on the SNES.
Episode 11: Nintendo 64 Disk Drive
This week our guest had to reschedule, so in their stead I ended up streaming the Nintendo 64DD add on for the episode. Though without a guest, there is a lack of conversation bouncing back and forth, so I edited it down to the little bit history and discussion I had at the beginning of the stream. Little do we know that the Remaster didn't account for latency, making the fourth song our biggest challenge.
