Kurt and I have trained and traveled all over the world. We have trained with some amazing and interesting people. Frenchie ( @buscapemma) is one of those people. He has an amazing story of his introduction to Mixed Martial Arts from being a translator in PRIDE to training with Elite level Brazilians in Japan. Frenchie spent some time with us at Wand Fight Team in Las Vegas and he left such an impression on all of us. He is now a pro-MMA fighter for DEEP in Japan! His name still comes up all the time in conversations. Check out his amazing story!

5 Rounds Enzo "New Religion" Perez Pro MMA Fighter out of Xtreme Couture. Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Enzo Perez Rensoli is a warrior through and through. He relocated to Las Vegas, the fight capital of the world, in order to pursue his career as a professional MMA fighter, but his road to this point was far from linear – and anything but easy.  

Jonny "THE PARADOX" Parsons MMA fighter Muay Thai Syndicate MMA Vegas. Kurt and I met Jonny while we all trained together at Wand Fight Team in Las Vegas. Jonny has made the journey to Thailand and fought in the home of Muay Thai. He is a Pro MMA fighter and also the Muay Thai coach at the famed Syndicate MMA in LAs Vegas. Enjoy the episode! 

I met Mark back at Wand Fight Team in Las Vegas. He dropped in to get some training and I thought he looked familiar, of course, I asked if he was the guy from Ink Master lol. He was and he was very cool we chatted real quick and both went on to our training many years later I had been following Mark on social media and thought it was time to reach out and have a real talk about him being a martial artist. Again Mark was super cool and the episode went great.

Mark was on Ink Master Season 2/Redemption/Grudge Match, and they gave him the MMA fighter persona. Now sometimes "reality" shows embellish these types of things to create characters and drama. Mark is a legit Martial Artist and Pro MMA fighter along with being a really solid tattoo artist. He brings his own style into both worlds and seems to always be true to himself. 

I truly enjoyed this episode and believe this show has helped me make another great friend!

Brett "The Threat" Hlavacek Owner and operator of Nak Muay Legends and Muay Thai Gram. I had the pleasure to talk with Bett again it is always a good time. We talk about "Haymaker" the movie Brett was involved in and all sorts of other topics! Another great episode! 

We get to talk with a man that is using the power of the internet and social media to create the life that he wants. This is far from our normal episode only linked by the fact that trap is an aspiring MMA fighter. I wanted to talk with Trap and see what he was really all about. As a martial artist and being surrounded by many high-caliber fighters and athletes for many years, I take it personally when someone just attaches MMA or fighter to themselves to gain some clout. So we talk to Trap and he has a passion for MMA. Is he the best? No, will he be the next UFC Champ probably not.  How can you get down on someone that is using all the tools that make people famous these days to his advantage? Trap does have a passion for MMA, in the same note his passions run the gambit of what creates social media celebrities these days. Actor, rapper, Streamer, Only fans, "celebrity" Guest judge, Martial artists and I am sure some others. 

Look love him or hate him I am glad we got to talk with Trap and unless he just full BS he seems like a good guy and his focus is on making it by any means necessary. Building a real-life for his family. I can never hate the hustle, and people pay him to be Trap Gambino. No one pays me to be me!

We get to talk with WMC Muay Thai World Champion Savvas  "The Baby Face Killer" Michael. Savvas is originally from the island nation of Cyprus but moved to Thailand immediately after high school to train at the famed Petchyindee Academy and compete in Bangkok’s major Muay Thai stadiums. He got his start in the martial arts with karate at the urging of his father, a karate champion himself, and then switched to Muay Thai because he felt he needed a more intense form of competition. Fighting in the prestigious Muay Thai stadiums of Bangkok Thailand to the Global stage of One Championship! This was a great episode Enjoy!

In this episode of the Fight Chase Muay Thai & MMA Podcast ...I met Joe many years ago at the beginning of his career when he came to visit us at Wand Fight Team in Las Vegas. He was wearing a singlet in NOGI class..... Fast forward to NoGi world, I had just lost my match and I was standing kinda down on the defeat, and Joe and Lauren walked up and Joe tells me how he thinks the match was BS and the guy was just a point fighter. That always stuck in my head that so many years later he would still remember me and take the time to give support. Now with the rise of the Women's divisions in the UFC Lauren takes front and center and id FNing demanding you take notice of her and her all-out fighting style! Lauren is currently in the #3 ranking in the women's flyweight division and She along with her supporters are calling for that title shot! Kelly &  Kurt get to sit down and talk with Michael Chase Corley. Michael is the owner/head coach for Houston Muaythai and has fought on the highest platforms of Muaythai with over 30 professional fights spanning over eight countries. He is the president of the United States Muay Thai Federation and as of today released a book called Muay Thai Grit: Stories Of An American Nak Muay! Kurt and Kelly discuss the One Championship Event 'Enter The Dragon" that was recently held in Singapore featuring fights with Gary Tonon, Yodsanklai Fairtex, Sage Northcutt and man many more elite combat sports athletes. 

This is our recap of the UFC 237 event that was held in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. The event happened on May 11. Please keep in mind this is just the opinion from 2 guys. We do not claim to be fight experts altho both of us have many years of training in Muay Thai in the US and also Thailand and have trained in jiu-jitsu and MMA alongside many professional fighters.

The action-packed event was headlined by a world title fight in the women's strawweight division. Thug Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade put on a good fight.

The co-main was the legend Anderson The Spider Silva taking on  Jared Cannonier. Along with some more action-packed fights on the main card!
