*BONUS EP* Navigating a panic attack in a foreign country 🤯 what I've learned from my first month in Colombia
Hola mi amors! She's back with a special bonus episode to update you all on my once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to Colombia. 🇨🇴
You all know how much anticipation I had built around this trip (literally five years in the making thanks to Covid). 🤒
So ngl, it feels pretty surreal to be typing this from my co-working space in Medellin, Colombia. 💻
I have now been here for just over a month, and this first month has definitely not come without its challenges. I am so proud of myself for being here and navigating this new level of independence that I have never experienced before. ❤️
I've got 6 weeks left and I am ready to embrace it all, the ups, the downs and the in-betweens! 🤟

S3:E23 You can ABSOLUTELY build your biz without burnout 🥱 w/ Loren Tomlinson from The Social Collective
Hello poddy fam! I'm sad to announce that this is the finale of Season 3. I've appreciated all of your ears this season, but it's gotten to a point where I need to focus on my overseas travels and I'll be back in your ears later in the year with Colombia content. 🤩
Managing burnout and avoiding it is something that I am very passionate about having experienced it multiple times. So this is honestly the perfect way to end this season - chatting with my fellow marketing agency owner Loren. 📱
Loren is a mindfulness and journalling coach and owns her own digital marketing agency, The Social Collective. ✌️ The duality in her passions is what makes her so intriguing, she has learned how to masterfully balance her spritiaulity with her boss girl vibes!
Loren and I have a insightful chat about what it takes to avoid burn out, what putting yourself first looks like, and how asking for help not only lightens the load but will likely catapult your business's growth ten-fold.
We can't wait for you to listen. 🎧

S3:E22 Starting a business is SCARY AF! 😨 How to find out whether you're entrepreneur material 💰 w/ Gemma Tough
In this ep, I am joined by Gemma Tough - mindset and business coach. We grace your ears with the sacrifices required to build a business. We get really vulnerable on the behind-the-scenes struggles of our businesses 😟 and how we overcame them! 💪
On social media it's SO EASY to share the highlight reel, the five-figure months, hiring new employees, moving into a new warehouse etc. But what about when you're working until midnight or you're scrambling to find money to pay the bills. Being an entrepreneur is a rollercoaster, and only those who continue to invest in their self-development will make it through.
Business is a beautiful thing, and everyone truly does have what it takes to succeed, but only with the right support. We can't wait for you to listen. 🎧

S3:E21 Finding balance is a load of bullsh*t 💩 or is it? 🤔
We've all got an angel 👼 and devil 👿 on our shoulders ~ one telling us that achieving balance is an absolute load of crap, and one telling us maintaining a balanced life is necessary for happiness and fulfillment. So who's right?
It's a constant battle between the two so in this episode let's dive deep 👇
⚖️ what is balance?
⚖️ is life just a whole bunch of seasons?
⚖️ you're getting nowhere with a lack of boundaries
⚖️ what is self-care to you?
These are just some of the ideas we discuss in this episode. And two banger eps that complement this ep really well are our hustle culture one (S1:E2) and our life audit one (S1:E5). Throwinnn it wayyy back! Appreciate all your love and support if you loved the ep let me know! 💗

S3:E20 Are you lazy or is it not in alignment? 🤔 Identifying the signs of when you need to hustle harder or when it's time to let go!
A topical question in my life as I consciously step more into more of a human being rather than a human doing. When things feel hard, you have to ask yourself whether this is an opportunity to learn and grow or if this is the Universe telling you that this job, relationship, or situation is not for you?
Because there are two parts to it, do you need to be called out on your shit or is this situation truly not in alignment with your values and who you want to be?? 😬
Join me as I dive into how I dissect this crossroad in my life and ultimately the signs I look for when I know something isn't for me and it's better for everyone if I shut the door so that new ones can open. 🚪

S3:E19 You can achieve anything you set your mind to 🧠 I completed 75 HARD on my first attempt 💪
It's done! She did it! I have successfully completed 75 Hard and in this episode, I share with you my biggest learnings. As I type this it is literally Day 1 of completing it so I'm still processing what I have just achieved and thinking about ways to celebrate. 🎉
I started Day One only committing to 30 days because my 26th birthday was during the 2.5 months but by the end of Day One I told myself just to give the whole challenge a go, and here we are Day 76!
If you want to go back and listen to previous episodes about the challenge, S3:E9 which was one week into the challenge, and then I also did a halfway check-in which is S3:E14.
If I've got you curious about the challenge, jump into my DMs, always happy to chat. 😇

S3:E17 Sober Curiosity - Why is Everyone Talking About It?! w/ Emily Nancarrow from Hot No Matter What Podcast
Ok this chat was so fun! Having Emily on from the Hot No Matter What Podcast honestly felt like a catch-up with a friend. As part of 75 HARD, I can't drink alcohol, I'm roughly two months in and it's the longest I've not had a bevvy in my adult life. And Emily has not had a sip of alcohol since the end of last year.
So we're both in the midst of our "not drinking era" so we thought it was only appropriate to dive into the chat of "sober curiosity" which has become quite a trendy buzzword in recent months. In this episode, we discuss:
🍸 what it means to be sober curious
🍸 why is it trending in the health space
🍸 our experiences with alcohol growing up
🍸 the influence behind Emily's decision to quit the alcs
🍸 and the culture and response when you tell someone you're not drinking
She's another lengthy one, but a goodie! So put on ya walking shoes, head out for a walk, and prepare to be inspired!

I don't think I've ever had someone on the show so enthusiastic about their craft!! It's an absolute pleasure to grace you with the high-vibe energy of Isabelle Prestia, a Marketing Coach, Podcast Host, Content Creator, Meditation Teacher.
In this episode, we had a potent chat about looking for the positives in shitty situations, how to manifest your dream life and the number one thing that is stopping you from taking the next step in your evolution.
A jam-packed chat that will leave you feeling energised and inspired. I can't wait for you to listen.

S3:E15 Ditch the Mindset Work ~ Heal Your Body & Nervous System w/ Ethan Harkness
This is one juicy ep ~ I had the pleasure of speaking with Ethan for the second time and he never ceases to amaze me with his wisdom and truth bombs. 🔥
If you're keen to listen to Ethan's first ep it is Season 2 Ep 17. In today's chat we dive deep into the transformative shifts Ethan has had in the past year, including the learning he has done around nervous system regulation and how he has adopted these teachings into his own life in order to heal. ❤️🩹
This hugely reasonated with me as this is the main reason I quit my job in January so that I could spend more time healing my inner world.
Then Ethan proceeded to blow my mind with somatic trauma therapy which refers to healing trauma through the body rather than the mind. The personal development industry is very heavily focused on mindset work, and Ethan says "if you could think yourself out of it, you would've done so by now."
A very insightful chat that I am sure you will all love so much!

S3:E14 Half-way check in for 75 Hard
Day 37! I'm at the halfway point for 75 Hard and I didn't even realise it. I know when we last chatted about the challenge I was umming and ahhing about doing 30 days or the whole thing - and it's safe to say I would've been sad if I stopped at 30 days because I'm loving the journey and process and I don't want it to end.
I bet you thought you'd never hear me say that haha - in this ep I touch on the rollercoaster of emotions, what it feels like mentally and physically to have no rest days, and then I get a wee bit vulnerable and share some of my journal entries from the past month or so to give you an insight into what it's really been like.
I hope this inspires some of you to give it a go - my DMs are always open if you want to chat.

S3:E13 Leaping into Self-employment & Full-time Travel w/ Stephanie Love
This ep is a long one but she's a goodie! Grab a cuppa and sit down to hear Steph and I chat about all things self-employment and digital nomad life.
Steph was on the podcast in March 2021 (S1:E28). In her first ep we chatted about gender pay, achieving work-life balance and making bold decisions. So if that sounds like a bitta you, I highly recommend that you listen to that episode first.
In true Steph fashion, a lot has changed for her so I wanted to get her back on to update us all on how her life has shifted in the past two years. She is now full-time self-employed and we chatted about the obstacles that come with that journey such as cashflow issues, and tying your self-worth to your work.
Then we deep dive into navigating full-time travel in Southeast Asia as someone who doesn't have the security of a guaranteed income. It was such an insightful conversation and it has made me realise that it's a lot more doable than most people think.

S3:E12 Navigating Fitness & Training as a New Mum w/ Tiree Ballantyne
If I've learned one thing from recording this episode it's that the mum and parenting scene can be judgy as heck. If you prioritise your physical and mental health you're selfish, and if you don't you're not looking after yourself to be the best version of yourself for your child. Like with anything, no matter what you do, people will have something to say, so you might as well do what makes you happy right?
In this episode, I'm joined by Tiree, a new Mum, and women's online trainer and coach. She teaches from experience, having realised the importance of structured and intentional training in her own journey of pre and post-partum.

S3:E11 The Power of Presence: Cultivating Mindfulness Through Meditation w/ Caroline Sherratt
Meditation - it's such a buzzword, we've all heard it's good to practice meditation to give our minds a break - but what is the true power of it?
In today's ep I speak with meditation expert Caroline about her teaching practices, how she got into meditation, and how it has changed her life.
Now I know meditation isn't for everyone, it wasn't for me for almost 5 years until I seriously committed to meditating for 100 days straight and now rarely a day goes by where I don't sit down and meditate. I can wholeheartedly say it has been one of those tools and practices that has been integral to my personal and mental growth.
If you're on the fence about meditating, or think it's too 'woo woo' for yah, give this poddy a listen!

S3:E10 Investing In Self - Is Going On A Retreat Right For You? w/ Storm Sturm from Functional Naturopathy
I've bought my girl Storm from Functional Naturopathy back for round two! If you haven't listened to our first ep, and want to learn all about healthy hormones, check out Season 2, Ep 11.
In today's ep we dive deep into the idea of investing in one's self - we cover why it's important, the ways in which Storm and myself have invested in ourselves, and what the signs of burnout are. Finally, we also touch on how fantastic Storm's facilitated retreats are (I'm speaking from experience).
I attended Storm's cacao ceremony in May 2022 and still to this day it was one of the most transformational weekends of my life. Excitingly she has another retreat coming up soon at the end of April, the Nourish Wellness Retreat.

Your favourite duo is back - Daniel and Felicia 😄 and in this ep we're talking about the #75hardchallenge. 💯
Daniel completed #75hard in July - Oct last year and Felicia is currently in Day 5 - which is crazy considering she thought the challenge was toxic hustle culture only a few months ago.
Join us in this ep as we chat about Daniel's experience with the mental toughness challenge and what he had to overcome throughout his experience. Then we get into what the Live Hard Program is and why Daniel has made the decision to continue on with that.
We also dive deep into the mindset shift that needed to occur for Felicia in order for her to decide to give the challenge a go. 🥰 The episode is live now on your fave podcasting platform. 🎧

S3:E8 Tips for Learning a New Language!
Learning a new language is hand-downs one of the hardest things I've ever had to do - it'll test you in ways you could've never imagined, and make you question everything you've ever known.
Now I know I'm not exactly selling it to you haha, but it will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do because it requires a high level of commitment and consistency, especially if your goal is to reach fluency.
I've been learning Spanish since March 2022 (almost a year) and I have just under 6 months until I go to Colombia, and I still have a lot to learn - in this episode I touch on the tips and tricks I've learned so far.
I hope you enjoy :)

S3:E6 How I'm Getting Paid $15k To Go To Colombia! w/ Felicia Aull
Yup that's right - I'm jumping on the clickbait bandwagon but I honestly am telling the truth, I have already been paid $15,000 towards my Colombia trip which pretty much covers all of my expenses.
For those that don't know, I'll be heading over to Colombia in August to do an internship, I have been planning this since pre-Covid days (2019) and the year is finally here, I'm feeling nervous, excited, and scared but I am so ready for the growth.
As a small-town gal that has never travelled alone, or been away from home (or my fiance) for this long, it's going to be a massive growth journey that I am so ready to conquer!
2023 is the year of following my dreams - so if you want to know how I made this trip happen for FREE, listen to the ep to find out. 🤑

S3:E5 Why You Shouldn't Try So Hard & Learning To Surrender w/ Felicia Aull
This one is for the serial organisers who plan their lives down to the second! Did you know that living life this way is potentially blocking a bigger plan that the Universe has for you?
Now I totally get it, uncertainty is generally a cause for anxiety so planning helps to alleviate some of the stress. However, with a rigid plan there is no space for flow, flexibility and spontaneity which often bring about the best parts that make up our lives.
In this episode, we chat about why it's important to have a broad vision and mission for life, but to also allow space and time for the Universe to work her magic. 🌟

S3:E4 5 Benefits of Completing a Discipline Challenge w/ Felicia Aull
It's a great day to have a great day! This week's ep is that self-development fix that you need. 😍
5 BENEFITS OF CHALLENGING YOURSELF - I have a new-found love for challenging myself in the form of a 6-week exercise program, 100 days of consistency, or the 75 hard program. 👀
Most of you will know I have a love/hate relationship with hustle, because I always find myself at the extreme of toxic hustle culture which always results in burnout. 😭
This year is all about finding a beautiful balance between execution and rest, and 2022 was great for building these foundations through the two 100 days of consistency I accomplished. ✔️
I can't wait for you to listen to the ep. 🎧
Much Love,

S3:E3 Coming out of the Spiritual Closet w/ Felicia Aull
We're back with another fun ep - we're chatting all things spirituality and how I embarked on my own spiritual journey and how this compares to being raised as a Catholic.
Spirituality and religion often get mistaken for one another but I believe they are two completely separate things, however, I have found that many spiritual concepts and values are embedded into eastern religions such as Buddhism.
Spirituality is definitely a trendy thing at the moment, all the young gals are into the 'woo woo' stuff haha so listen to the ep to find out what it all means to me.

Hello special humans, we are back with the FINAL EP for Season Two. I have been feeling called to close this season for the past couple of weeks because as ya know I have been struggling to get episodes out with the changes that have been happening in my life!
This ep is a run-down on the biggest change and that is that I RESIGNED!! Woohoooo! After being unhappy in my job for about 12 months, I finally took the leap and left. I am super excited to announce that I now work from home full-time for a marketing agency in Aussie - doing content creation and marketing :)
I am really happy with where I am at in my life which as you all know is massive for me to be saying that! I am looking forward to seeing what the rest of 2022 has in store for me!

S2:E18 Network Marketing - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly w/ Daniel Anderson
This week I bring my other half back for a juicy chat about all things network marketing (NWM). Daniel and I have both had our own separate experiences with NWM. Daniel was in the game from 2017-to 2018 and I joined at the end of 2020 and left mid-way through 2021. It's taken me a while to come on the poddy and talk about my experience of leaving NWM and that's because it was a hard pill to swallow because I felt like a "failure" but now I know it was all a part of my learning journey and I had to go through it.
Daniel was a big part of my journey with NWM because without him I wouldn't have had the funds to join and so when I came to the realisation that I didn't want to do it anymore that required a big conversation with Daniel but we got through it. Join us as we chat about what we learned in the NWM space and why we both eventually decided it wasn't for us.

S2:E17 Connecting Deeper With Yourself to Uncover Your Soul's Purpose w/ Ethan Harkness
This week on the poddy we have the lovely Ethan chatting to us! Ethan has been on a very expansive journey over the past three years. He's been on a huge path of personal development and spiritual growth - something that was really accelerated when he decided to leave the comfort of his hometown.
He turned to YouTube videos first, which helped him realise that there is more to life than what traditional society makes us believe. When he moved to the Mount, he joined a network marketing company and for the first time in his life, he had people around him that were consistently pushing him out of his comfort zone. He continued to explore and deepen his connection with himself which brings him to today, as a Men's Mental Health Coach. He currently runs six-week programs which help men truly connect with themselves and their purpose so they can go on to live a more fulfilling life.
Ethan has struggled with energy management in the past, especially with a physical job, and so we had a really epic chat about the importance of managing our energy commitments and how it's okay to not give our ALL to work. Often people give all their energy to their day job leaving them feeling depleted for activities outside of work that truly set their souls on fire. We dive deep into feminine versus masculine and how we can find a better balance between these two energies.
Again, such a multi-faceted conversation that I know you all will love!

S2:E16 How Travel Can Ignite Your Hunger For A Free & Fulfilling Life w/ Shae & Daniel from Against the Grind
I am very excited to bring you my very first couple interview! Shae & Daniel are both so driven to creating a life of freedom and impact. They got a taste of this lifestyle during their travels to Europe in 2020 and their whole perspective of what life could be completely shifted.
Because their travels got cut short due to Covid, they returned to home in Aussie and started the grind, or Against the Grind, as they call it - an online space where they document their journey of starting their own digital business in an effort to ditch the 9-5 and get back to experiencing the world!
This chat is a dynamic one - we chat about how to escape the traditional path school steers you on, what travel can teach you that school can't and so much more about big visions and finding your passion and purpose. It was great to get the perspectives of both of them and how they're individually and jointly working towards their dream life.

S2:E15 How Taking the First Step will Quantum Leap Your Life w/ Amanda Drescher
I am so incredibly humbled to bring you this episode with my soul sister on the other side of the world! Amanda and I connected via the gram and ever since then we've had such a deep and beautiful bond.
Amanda is such a beautiful shining light who has been on her own transformational journey of coming home to herself. Now she's here to help light others up so that they can find their true calling through their own awakening. This chat is very multi-faceted but a common theme that stuck out was that in order to live a fulfilled life we all need to learn how to take the first step. Our soul is always calling us to where we need to go and if we choose to continue to listen to society's expectations and distractions then we'll never become who we truly are meant to be.
Join us in this ep as we help you uncover how you can feel the fear and still take the leap! We promise you what's on the other side is exactly what your soul desires.

As the lead Coach and Founder of Girls Get HQ I really wanted to tap into Johnelle's knowledge surrounding the importance of self-confidence, we always hear about how we should be confident and back ourselves but I haven't really heard the conversation on why this is so important for our personal growth and development!
We also had a good chat about goals and how to stay on top of them, especially if you're someone that plans plans plans and never takes action! This ep will give you a good kick up the bum to take that leap of faith!

Hormone imbalances are so common in the 21st century because of the stress we are exposed to. Stress isn't just emotional, it can be physical too, from junk food, lack of exercise, over-working, under-eating, lack of sleep and so much more!
It's getting much harder to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle with all this pressure. That's why I've brought on Storm in this week's ep, a functional naturopathist, and herbalist.
I did Storm's Hormone Course a couple of months ago and I was stunned by what I didn't know about my body! As a female, I didn't how much our monthly cycle influences how we should be operating in society to optimize our hormones and energy.

S2:E7 How to Make Stress Your Friend
What is your relationship with stress? Do you avoid it? Is it present in your everyday life? Does it fuel you to get things done or does it mentally drain and exhaust you?
Excess stress is the norm in the 21st century, and we're generally led to believe that it is bad for our physical health, but what if it was actually this belief that is deteriorating us?
In this ep, I explain what stress is, not just emotional stress but also the stress we cause our bodies and minds through what we eat and the information we consume. Then I answer the question of whether our perspective of stress can determine how it interacts with our health.

S2:E6 Life is How you Choose to React - Are You Emotionally Intelligent?
Hiiiii, as a VERY emotional being I wanted to look into whether my emotions were in check to determine if I go through life reacting emotively or rationally. What I found was that I have a lot of work to do haha.
In this ep, we look into the five components of emotional intelligence and what you can do to improve each of them;
- Self-awareness.
- Self-regulation.
- Motivation.
- Empathy.
- Social skills.
Emotions are inevitable, we're human right? However, it's important to learn how to not interact when you're a hothead, that never ends well. I am so excited for you to listen to this ep so you can integrate the art of being emotionally intelligent into your life.

S2:E5 The 40 Hour Work Week is Killing Your Productivity
The 40-hour workweek is an 87-year-old concept that hasn't changed one bit since its inception! Recently there has been a big shift in employee expectations, mainly fuelled by millennials in the workforce. I have been hearing the words "The Great Resignation" on social media this year which is where people are calling it quits on their jobs to pursue their own gigs! We love to see it!
We are seeing more requests to work from home, work four 10 hour days, or do a 32 hour week. We are at a pivotal point in history where life outside of work is significantly valued, most of us young ones understand that we work so that we can live, not the other way round!
In this ep, I chat about the history of the 40-hour workweek and whether it is still an effective model today, then we dive into some common alternative working options. I finish off by talking a bit about my own experience of negotiating a 32-hour workweek in my job and why it was so important to me that I secured this.

S2:E4 Attracting The Right Team to Help You Succeed w/ Toby Skilton from Mutu & MenuAid
I brought Toby onto the show to talk about how he started his two businesses that both have a strong focus on sustainable development and circular economy and I was pleasantly surprised when the conversation took a turn into discussing men's mental health!
Toby has always had the entrepreneurial bone so I wasn't surprised to hear he ran a successful repair business whilst studying at uni. He then managed to fit in a year-long overseas trip before landing back in NZ just before the pandemic hit.
When his job in the tourism industry naturally ended, he put all his focus into launching Mutu, a peer-to-peer marketplace that enables you to rent/lend items you have around your house. As the conversation progressed, Toby and I found ourselves chatting about self-care and development, his mental health journey, and how he has really benefitted from a local initiative - Man Cave, Men's Circles that create a safe space for support.
As if running Mutu wasn't enough, Toby and his team have also recently launched MenuAid a meal inspiration and recipe website, solving the what's for dinner dilemma!
I can't wait for you to soak up the juiciness from this inspiring young man!

S2:E2 Learning How to Harness the Power of Our Brain Waves
I am super excited to bring you this valuable ep about brain waves and how they are influenced by our outer world. Please note I am no brain scientist, all concepts in this ep were derived from Dr. Joe Dispenza's book - How to Break the Habit of Being Yourself.
I introduce the ep with a bit of a chat about the different brain waves (Beta, Theta, Alpha, etc) and then I dive a bit deeper into how our brain waves develop from the minute we're born until we reach adulthood. It is so fascinating to think that a certain life event will affect us differently depending on what age we are and how much our brain has developed.
I hope you guys are as intrigued about the brain as I am!

S1:E33 Job Loss, Reconnecting to your Feminine & Escaping Societies Box w/ Kendall from Kendall Brown Coaching
What if losing your job was the best thing that ever happened to you?
To the outside world, Kendall appeared to have it all, the high paying corporate job, bustling social life and busy lifestyle but inside, she was crumbling. Kendall was completely out of alignment (but didn't know this at the time) and it showed, she had crippling anxiety and depression.
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) Kendall lost her job due to Covid-19 which accelerated her spiritual awakening journey, she invested in a coach and over the course of six months completely transformed her life. Her redundancy allowed her to spend 2020 investing time, energy, money and love into herself, something she had never done before.
Kendall is now a Certified Women's Life Coach and Holistic Health Coach whose mission is to guide women towards rediscovering their true self.

S1:E30 Falling Out Of Love with Your Business w/ Felicia Aull
This week I learnt that it is okay (and probably normal) to fall out of love with your business. When you first start a project there is so much excitement and sparkle within everything you do. There is also an element of anticipation as you wonder how successful your new business or project will be.
It's new, it's fresh, of course, you're going to be hyped! Everyone always talks about these highs in entrepreneurship, but people rarely talk about the times when you lose motivation, when you doubt your business and your product, when you want to give up and wish you never entered entrepreneurship because it's bloody hard work!
You start to think if you can't believe in your business no one can. Until recently, I didn't allow myself to validate these feelings because I thought I wasn't "allowed" to feel this way because it was my business, my baby.
But I'm human and this is all part of the experience, to ride the wave of entrepreneurship and pick up everything you can learn along the way.
I hope you enjoy this ep of me unpacking what it means to fall out of love with your business and how I plan to navigate it.
