Healing The Narcissistic Mother Wound-With Brooke Bownes
In this episode, I sat down for a chat with Brooke Bownes about how the unhealed mother wound runs deep for her and the women she coaches. She shared openly with me about her experiences and how healing has led her to a life full of joy and gratitude.
Brooke is an accredited trauma coach, therapist, and global No.1 bestselling author. She works with midlife women who struggle with mother wounds and childhood trauma and want to heal those wounds, find their power, and confidence and release their trauma so they can go for their goals. Brooke is very passionate about this area as she too once felt powerless and was scared to show up in the world as herself. Then she started working on her own mindset, discovered who she was, and loved the feeling of inner contentment and confidence to transform from being scared to speaking on stage.
A bit about Brooke, she had an abusive relationship growing up with a narcissistic mother, then moved on to two abusive adult relationships, she's been homeless and brought up 4 children single-handedly. Her experience had given her a unique way of understanding people where they are and helping them to find their power. Now, Brooke lives in a beautiful house with her husband and runs a successful business while having fun on adventures in their campervan.

Stay or Die: Learning To Love After Leaving Abuse - With Amy Frame
In this episode, I had a very lively and heartfelt conversation with Amy Frame. Amy shared her story of freeing herself from an abusive marriage, moving across the country, finding the love of her life, and how her own healing journey lead to her helping other women travel through their healing too.
At the age of 18, Amy Frame joined the military and left for basic training on Sept 18th, 2001. She spent one year overseas in Iraq, where she met her partner for the next nine years. This relationship was Co-dependent and completely unhealthy. Amy learned this model from her mother. After nine years of increasing abuse from both sides, she left after he threatened her life.
It took years for Amy to heal from the pain of that experience, and along the way, a whole new identity emerged. She was an Emergency room Nurse by the time the relationship came to an end and Amy packed up everything she owned, quit her job, and moved back home. Then she spent a total of 12 years as a bedside nurse. Two years ago, Amy stepped away from bedside nursing and created a practice where now she works on healing souls.
Over the years, Amy has learned two things, Life is short, and healing begins with the soul, not the body. It is here that she created her Coaching Practice. Now she spends her days working with individuals whose wounds cannot always be seen. Amy says, "It’s the most impactful work I have ever been called to do."

A Step-by-Step Path To Healing After Abuse-with Diane Simboro
Dianne Simboro is a recovery coach, behavioral profiler and consultant who works with survivors of family violence to assist with their recovery after they exhaust all available government-sponsored crisis support. Thriving in Life After Abuse and Addiction- with Katie Lain
In this episode, I sat down with Katie Lain to talk about how domestic violence and addiction often go hand in hand. To escape the devastating realities of her home life, Katie found herself turning to alcohol more and more finding herself hopelessly addicted. Even after she freed herself from her abuser, the addiction remained but not forever. Listen with me as Katie shares her story of how she found her own way to thrive after abuse and addiction.
Katie Lain struggled with alcohol addiction for almost 10 years – cycling in and out of periods of abstinence and relapse. She desperately wanted to fix her drinking problem, but couldn’t figure out how. But in 2017, she finally escaped this cycle when she learned about a medication-assisted treatment for alcohol dependence called The Sinclair Method (TSM).TSM is a clinically-proven treatment for alcohol addiction discovered in the 1990s and helps people reduce heavy drinking and eliminate alcohol cravings over time. Katie gradually reduced her drinking through this method, to the point of going completely (and accidentally) alcohol-free one year after she started. She now runs Thrive Alcohol Recovery where she offers a comprehensive program for The Sinclair Method, and she also serves as an advocate for this method – reaching thousands of people through her social media channels.

How to Use Interior Design To Heal Your Heart- With Shana Francesca
In this episode, I talk with Shana Francesca. An amazingly powerful woman whose story of survival brings inspiration to other women who want to learn how to design a life of their own making.
Now Shana uses her talents as an interior designer to help others remove old energies from their homes and workspaces. She shared with me why she loves working with her clients saying, "They're like, incredible human beings. But they're sharing their story with me and I get to be part of changing and shifting their home to be a place of safety, because so much about our home, you know, especially if they choose to stay in that home for whatever reason that traumatic relationship ends or that traumatic situation ends or there's a death or there's a whatever it is right? When we entered, we're all in everything's made of energy. So the energy of what existed and what was done inside of a house stays with it. And we can transmute, and we can change that energy by, you know, changing our perception and our view of a space by reorganizing that space."

Healing Through Writing Your Memoir with Kimberly Henry
In this episode, I talk with survivor and memoir writer Kimberly Henry. She shares her story of when she realized she’d lost herself after a series of abusive relationships and how finding the courage to write her memoir and helping others write theirs changed her life forever.
Growing up, Kimberly, saw firsthand the effects alcoholism had on family and relationships. She was determined not to repeat the pattern, but as she shared with me, "Yeah if you look at the stats, it's significantly high that especially the more around that, especially alcoholics, the more that you're around it, the more you're going to repeat the patterns that you know. So I, it was inevitable that I was going to repeat patterns because I was resistant to really doing the work."
Now she is writing her memoir, sharing her story, and helping others share their stories through writing. If You would like to get help or have your memoir written for you connect with Kimberly today at https://kimberlyhenrycoaching.com
