After a month-long delay, I Was A Seventh-day Adventist is back! In this episode, M speaks with SL, the writer of the content from Episode Four: Church Skeletons. They discuss her writing, growing up SDA, and a smattering of other topics. This episode is not as intense or triggering as Episode Four, so if you were not hoping to hear that sort of content, this episode is safe for you.

In episode four of I Was A Seventh-day Adventist, M reads a submission from listener S.L. This writing discusses the SDA church covering-up major instances of abuse and shows just how far the church is willing to go to maintain its image. S.L. writes about her experiences trying to escape the church and how she feels now that she is out.

In episode three of I Was A Seventh-day Adventist, Nero joins M and the two of them discuss Nero's struggle with mental health as a child in the Seventh-day Adventist church and school system. There are some deep thoughts and a unique perspective into the culture shock that comes when someone is pushed into the SDA belief system midway through their developmental education.
