179. Learning to let go to receive what He has for Y O U: "You have been brought here so I can show you many things..." Ez 40:4--a Shine update!
Today's episode is a 30K ft. view of what's been going with Shine the last 6 months and how God might have a message for you with these specific reflection questions!
Tune in today and share if you think this can help another.
Want to know more about my wellness supplement or the business opportunity (working from home!) OR the link for matchmaking membership?

178. Hello, 2023! So long, Shine! (for now!) Knowing your assignment to complete your God-given calling as a daughter of The King!
Today's episode is bittersweet--I share the new assignments God is revealing to me to in order to complete my God-given calling.
For now, grace has lifted from Shine, but God has opened new doors and aligned relationships for new and exciting endeavors. I share more about this revelation
I pray that as you listen to this message, you glean wisdom from:
- Abraham about sacrificing your "promise child" on the altar
- Moses about using the resources that are currently in your hand
- Paul as to what to leave behind and what direction to press onward
- CS Lewis about the roller coaster adventure of a life sold out for Jesus
- JRR Tolkien about moving forward with the sword in your hand despite your nervously beating heart
Take time to reflect:
- Do you know your God-given calling and your current assignment?
- What is God calling you to leave behind in 2022 and step into in 2023?
- Where do you need to "rest" in life?
- Where has the grace lifted in your life?
- What brings you peace currently?
I pray this episode blesses you, dear one.
Until we meet next time, keep Shining!
177. Christmas may be over, but The Spirit of CHRISTmas continues!
I am curious: when do you take down your Christmas decorations?
So often the spirit of generosity and Christmas giving and living seem to fade when we take the tree, lights and angels down and store them again until next year.
In today's episode, I invite you to dive into Isaiah 9 again and see how you can call upon The Name above every other name and add light to the darkness that might be upon your life's circumstances.
176. The power of prevention: Rebekah's victory from a brain aneurysm to fully healed, healthy, and whole! with guest Rebekah Tart Wiens
This summer I had the privilege of meeting an amazing woman and fellow sister-in-Christ at a healing ministry school in Georgia.
Rebekah Tart Wiens is a wife, mama, and former RN with a remarkable healing testimony from a near-death brain aneurysm. While she realizes Jehovah Rapha is the Ultimate Healer, she has implemented a number of healthy lifestyle practices into her daily life, including a wonderful supplement that has helped her heal and maintain exceptional health from the inside out!

175. Amos 9: The God of suddenly! "Everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings...He'll make everything right!" Keep hope alive!
While the themes of Advent are peace, hope, love and joy, sometimes it is difficult to feel or experience them in the busyness of life and the many happenings of this world!
But the prophet Amos has a divine Word that reminds us of the hope that is on its way on Christmas day! As believers, we can experience HOPE through the coming of Jesus--God made flesh, Emmanuel!
Tune in to today's show for a spontaneous download of what God has spoken to me from Amos 9:11-15 MSG:
Let's decree and declare, God is going to SUDDENLY do it!
“But also on that Judgment Day I will restore David’s house that has fallen to pieces. I’ll repair the holes in the roof, replace the broken windows, fix it up like new. David’s people will be strong again and seize what’s left of enemy Edom, plus everyone else under my sovereign judgment.” God’s Decree. He will do this.
13-15 “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.
“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:
“They’ll rebuild their ruined cities.
They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine.
They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables.
And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land.
They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.”
God, your God, says so.

173. When Your Lifelong Dream Happens, but Looks Different than What You Ever Imagined! with viral video star & social media celebrity, Britney Crosson
What a treat it was to have one of my favorite people on the show today!
Viral video star and social media celebrity, Britney Crosson, joins us and shares how her childhood dreams of becoming an actress have been fulfilled, but they look completely differently than she ever imagined!
Britney is founder and owner of FunLoveMedia and these two words describe her perfectly! Our conversation is candid, personal and fun, but also very practical, as she shares tips about how:
- she participated in beauty pageantry, modeling, and acting as a young girl (obsessed with Full House--and still is!) and how the agent's comment of losing 2"off her hips was a "hard no" to continuing
- to be real, authentic and genuine as you "share your story" to help others on their journey
- she uses her social media to help others with important issues such as body image and panic attacks
- life is not a linear journey, but can end up better than you imagined!
Britney has been a performer since childhood with a total of 35+ years experience on stage and screen. She naturally fell in love with social media back in the MySpace days because it felt like one big stage! Not only does she prioritize spreading joy to her audience through her dancing and comedy videos, but she’s also passionate about using social media for good. Britney openly shares about her own professional and personal journey and encourages others that want to make a change in the world to also tell their stories. With over 15 million views and counting, she’s positively impacting lives all over the world through her videos.
When Britney’s not working hard on her businesses, you can find her having a dance party with her two kiddos or cuddled up on the couch with wine and her husband watching their favorite tv shows.
As we round the bases for the end of '22 and embark upon '23, I invite you to tune in to today's message and reconsider your personal hopes and dreams then take the limits off of God and expectations off of yourself and step into new and exciting things in the new year and beyond!
You will definitely want to follow Britney for some inspiration and humor--here's how to connect beyond today's show:

This packed a powerful punch and got my wheels turning! Indeed, we have the honor of asking Jehovah Rapha for healing & miracles, but God's design was for us to be in health so we didn't need to rely on miracles--they would be an overflow of our healthy lives and in turn, we would prosper! 3 John 2

This summer, I went through an unexpected break up with a guy that I thought I was going to marry. It stirred a number of emotions--mainly confusion toward him and anger toward God.
Currently am in the process of healing my bitter and broken heart, which is birthed from disappointment. This can occur when someone, including God, fails you, disappoints you, hurts you or offends you. Check and check. I'm out, Coach. I don't want to play in the game of love anymore!

Stop eating "drive-thru-food!" Tips for a healthier soul & body!
While fast food might be convenient, cheap and taste good, the real cost of eating it never appears on the menu! The ingredients are not always the highest quality, the expense takes a toll on your wallet, and the fast-paced, on-the-go consumption doesn't allow you to enjoy your meal or your body to process it completely to optimize your health. Similarly, the "fast-food-soul-food" we eat is not always the most nourishing for our souls. Now, don't get me wrong a good devo, Bible-based app, or drive-time worship session is all good for you, it is not the only diet we should be eating to fortify our souls.
In today's podcast, I share some tips to help you rethink and reconsider fast-food-drive-thrus, both for your body and your soul!

To fight off the enemy's fiery darts, we need to utilize our heaven-sent weapons. In this series, I'm sharing what I believe to be God-inspired weapons to help us grow in our faith and walk in victory.
In today's episode we explore the importance of sistering, not only as an architectural term, but as a powerful tool.
While the Bible has numerous examples of the importance of community, today we look to Jesus' mother, Mary. In Luke 1:39 we read that after Mary received the news she was pregnant with The Messiah, "...she got ready and hurried to the hill country of Judea to stay with her cousin Elizabeth."
Tune in today to learn the 3 ways that Elizabeth and Mary's relationship models for us the importance of sisters and how we can implement these same characteristics in our own heaven-sent-sister-circles.
Fight like heaven part I: Replacing worrying, wallowing and wondering with WORSHIP!
Despite hating things in masks, I love Cirque de Soliel shows. I love the acrobatics, the musical score, the animation and effects--and I especially enjoy walking into the dimly lit theater as I observe the set and the character that "warms up" the crowd before the show actually begins. These elements set the stage for the anticipation of the actual show!
Similarly, when we worship God, we get to experience His power, His sovereignty, His provision, His holiness and so much more as we enter into the presence of the Holy Spirit with shouts of praise and thanksgiving.
But this is not always easy, and there are times and seasons in life where we might be struggling to praise God and offer shouts of thanksgiving. Since we know music can evoke powerful emotions in our souls, sometimes we want to "turn off" the emotion that draws us closer to God and stay in to the cave of confusion or den of despair.
But during a Holy Spirit moment, I was convicted that if I chose to "fight like hell" to overcome this season by wondering, worrying, and wallowing, I was only playing into the enemy's schemes. As the accuser, satan wants me to stay stuck and "lay by the pool" for years and years--but thankfully Jesus appears on the scene and asks the invalid--"Do you want to get well?" It's a choice! It's a decision. We can fight like heaven and stop making excuses and take action or we can continue to lay by the side of the pool.
Which will you choose?

Hope in the midst of life's afflictions: Lamentations 3 sets the stage for hope & healing
Over the last few weeks, I've endured much hopelessness. But as we are called to do, I turned to The Bible for strength and support.
I camped out in caves with David through the Psalms.
I cried through Ruth while she faithfully gleaned in the fields.
I wept with Jeremiah for what broke God's heart in Lamentations.
And it was here while in Lamentations 3, I saw the shift, and experienced it for myself: Lam 3:21--"Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope."
Instead of wallowing in hopelessness and rereading every text message, card, or email or listening to every voicemail from the last few months, (which I did for the 1st several days) I chose to call to mind God's faithfulness, strength, love, mercy, and more! I am choosing rather than sitting with the enemy in defeat to surrender to The Lord in victory and trust Him to make me more like Jesus through this season of heartache--after all, nothing is ever wasted in God's Kingdom!
I pray this blesses you, dear one. If so, please pass it to a friend who might need a word of encouragement too.

Activating your prayer language w/guest Lori Snyder
There are 3 baptisms available for believers: our initial relationship with Jesus, water baptism, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Each is significant and helps us further develop in our faith walk and presents opportunities to be more like Jesus.
As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, the day that marks the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples, I wanted to have my friend Lori Snyder share more about the activation of the Holy Spirit and our unique prayer language.
Receiving and activating your prayer language is powerful way to commune with God--it is the speed dial to Abba!
I invite you to tune in to today's episode and receive the power that is available to you through the Holy Spirit.

How to NOT obsess over food at social gatherings (or eat all of the cookies on the dessert table)
In many seasons of life, I avoided attending parties because I didn't have enough willpower to withstand the dessert table.
I would often RSVP "NO" because I knew that I would say "YES" to cake, cookies, brownies, and even jello pretzel salads! (How did someone even concoct that recipe anyway?) Why?! Because they were there!
I haven't posted a podcast in a while, but I felt led to share some insights on making memories this Memorial Day weekend (and into the summer) rather than continuing the "mangia-all-you-want-mania!" (Mangia=eat in Italian! More about that in the episode.)
If you struggle with will power when it comes to food or avoid social gatherings because of temptations (food, alcohol, people, etc...) tune in to today's podcast for some Biblical Truths and timely tips to overcome some of these challenges.

May Health Challenge is here! Grace upon grace! Let's go!
It's the 5th month of the year and in the Bible, 5 signifies GRACE! So this month we are taking our spirit, soul, and body to new levels of grace!
I am challenging you to join in the following:
1. Read one of the books of the New Testament Pentateuch; dive into ONE of the 1st five books of the NT Matt, Mark, Luke, John or Acts. The bonus component of this is to read it as if you didn't know Jesus.
2. Pick one person/week and shower them with GRACE in whatever form that looks like to you! (i.e. breakfast after church, card in the mail, etc...)
3. Walk 5 miles/week device-free! Whether that is one mile/5x/week or 5 miles all at once, get out there and let the Holy Spirit speak to you and shower you with EXTRA grace and guidance this month!
Are you in? If so, let me know! Tag me on social or email me at email@example.com
More stretch marks! An invitation to discover and live from REST
I am in a new season of life--one of growth and discovery, and as we round the bases on this month's theme of resurrection power, I am inviting you on a journey of discovering what it means to truly enter rest and live a spirit-led lifestyle from rest instead of constant striving, working, and doing.
Jesus' death, resurrection and position at God's right hand gives us the power and authority to operate from rest instead of striving for it. While life isn't easy, Jesus' yoke is! Will you join me on this journey, sweet sister? If so, message me on Instagram or Facebook or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
While this growth spurt might give us some stretch marks, these are the kind we want to acquire as we step out and trust God in new ways!
Let's grow together in this new season, sister.
To Him be ALL the glory!
