Here is the homily I gave for the First Sunday of Advent. This begins a series entitled, "Coming Home." For the Season of Advent, we will be emphasizing Family, Heritage, and Hospitality. All of these are part of a process that leads us to our Heavenly Home. To arrive safely, we must journey with our earthly family in the Church.

Here is the homily I gave for the Solemnity of Christ, King of the Universe. This is the final in the series, "Ready or Not." At this Mass I offered the homily to the children reflecting how the way we respond to others and the way we treat them is the way we treat Christ. We must work to be ready for when our King will return, which means showing our Love to God and others.

Here is the homily I gave for the 33rd Sunday of Ordinary Time. This is the fifth in the series, "Ready or Not." As we continue to reflect on the Second Coming of Christ, we are receiving many important insights from Jesus as to what it will take to be ready. One thing for sure is that we will be held accountable for the many things we do or didn't do in preparation. God has Gifted you with so much, what return will you make to Him?

Here is the homily I gave for the 32nd Sunday of Ordinary Time. This is the fourth in the series, "Ready or Not." Jesus needs us to be Light in this world of darkness. To best project His Light in this world requires us to seek Grace. When the time comes, we all need to be in a state of Grace. It is the only way to be ready when He Comes.

In rebuking the religious leadership of His time, Jesus is rebuking the religious leaders of every generation. The key in understanding the challenge is that we should be in a state of continual repentance and reforming our ways.

Here is the homily I gave for the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the second in the series, "Ready or Not." All of us must grapple with the Last Four Things - Death, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell. We must accept that we will die and be judged. Jesus makes it clear that we will be judged on how we Loved.

Here is the homily I gave for the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the final in the series, "Live for the Lord." Jesus tells St. Peter that he needs to always ready to forgive. All of us need to work at forgiveness, both when someone seeks to forgive us, and when we need to forgive another. In that way we can truly Live for the Lord.

So many in our world today want to see a miracle before they will believe. But as believers, we know that Faith comes first. Here is the homily I gave for the 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the second in a four part series entitled, "I Chose You." Of all the conversion stories we read in the lives of the saints, St. Paul stands out. Going from someone who persecuted Christians to the one who proclaims Christ as Savior is a powerful witness. Clearly, once he realized he was chosen by God, his life was radically different. Is your life any different than your non-believing neighbor?

We all agree that we want to go to Heaven at the end of our lives, but rarely do we lives as if that were the case. We must always remember the journey is the destiny and the destiny informs the journey. Check to see what path you are on to find out where you will end up at the end of the Journey. And if you are on the wrong path, change now so as to ensure your final destiny is with Christ.

Many of the worldly cares and ideologies prevent us from understanding Who Jesus really is. The beauty of Catholicism is that it is based on a relationship first and foremost, not on doctrine and rules. Here is the homily I gave for the 3rd Sunday of Lent. This is the third in the series, "Jesus Really is the One." When reading the Gospel in which Jesus encounters the Samaritan woman at the well, we see a tremendous miracle occur. Quite possibly for the first time the woman experienced Love. And the Love of Christ healed her wounds and restored her dignity in the community. Jesus wants to do the same for each of us.

So often we have blinders on that prevent us from truly appreciating Who Jesus really is. These blinders can come from a variety of place, most often due to the events in our lives. We must be pliable and open to the Lord, which means we must be healed of our deep seated wounds first.
