Homily: Coming Home - First Sunday of Advent
Here is the homily I gave for the First Sunday of Advent. This begins a series entitled, "Coming Home." For the Season of Advent, we will be emphasizing Family, Heritage, and Hospitality. All of these are part of a process that leads us to our Heavenly Home. To arrive safely, we must journey with our earthly family in the Church.

We must work to be ready for when our King will return, which means showing our Love to God and others.

As we continue to reflect on the Second Coming of Christ, we are receiving many important insights from Jesus as to what it will take to be ready. One thing for sure is that we will be held accountable for the many things we do or didn't do in preparation. God has Gifted you with so much, what return will you make to Him?

Here is the homily I gave for the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the first in the series, "Ready or Not." We all cling to our sins but make no mistake, there will be a judgment. Rather than excusing Sin, we should be discerning God's Will and getting our souls ready for Judgment Day.

Here is the homily I gave for Friday of the 20th week in Ordinary Time. This homily was given at St. James' Church in Medjugorje. Please note that the audio quality was corrected as best it could be.

Homily: Seeing is Believing - 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Here is the homily I gave for the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This homily is the final in the series, "Seeing is Believing." So many in our world today want to see a miracle before they will believe. But as believers, we know that Faith comes first. Like the Canaanite woman in the Gospel, great Faith comes first, then we see the miracles.

Homily: Seeing is Believing - Transfiguration
Here is the homily I gave for the Feast of the Transfiguration. This homily begins a series entitled, "Seeing is Believing." For many people today, they refuse to believe in anything they cannot see with their own eyes. This trend has lead to an increase in the number of "nones" who claim to have no faith at all. As believers, we must work at being the Transfigured Christ for those who need to see before they will believe.

Homily: Your Servant is Listening - 15th Sunday
Here is the homily I gave for the 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the first of a three part series entitled, "Your Servant is Listening." Podcast: Love the Sinner
What do you do when someone comes to you, knowing you are a good practicing Catholic, and mentions a sinful situation in which they are going to engage? For instance, many couples may ask a priest to bless them as they are preparing to go to and In Vitro Fertilization clinic. In that instance, we are to love the sinner, but we should also warn the sinner we love. Randi Hochenberger joins me to discuss how and when to say something to the sinner we love.

Homily: I Chose You - 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Here is the homily I gave for the 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the last in the series, "I Chose You." Jesus calls us to bring our burden of Sin to Him and accept the Yoke of the Cross. The Freedom Christ offers is the freedom from Sin. Go to Him with your burden of Sin and He will give you rest.

Here is the homily I gave for the 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the third in the series, "I Chose You." Being a Christian is about having a relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the One Who chose you and we need to start acting, living, and praying like those who are chosen.

Podcast: Applause at Mass revisited

Homily: I Chose You - 12th Sunday 2023
Here is the homily I gave for the 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the second in a four part series entitled, "I Chose You." Of all the conversion stories we read in the lives of the saints, St. Paul stands out. Going from someone who persecuted Christians to the one who proclaims Christ as Savior is a powerful witness. Clearly, once he realized he was chosen by God, his life was radically different. Is your life any different than your non-believing neighbor?

Homily: I Chose You - 11th Sunday of Ordinary Time
Here is the homily I gave for the 11th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the first in the series, "I Chose You." So often we forget that it was God Who chose us, and not the other way around. It is time for Catholics to become active rather than passive participants in the spreading of the Good News.

Homily: Help My Unbelief - Corpus Christi 2023

Podcast: Lay Evangelization
For many years evangelization was relegated to priests and religious. Generally speaking, the lay faithful we just expected to sit in the pews and be quiet. However, from the beginning of the Church, every member was expected to share the Good News. As a lay person, you should share the Faith with others and invite them to come to Christ in His Church. Most people who return to the practice of the Faith did so through the invitation of a friend or family member. Be that friend of family member in the world today!

Homily: Quo Vadis - 7th Sunday of Easter 2023 - A Must Listen for those who want to go to Heaven
Here is the homily I gave for the 7th Sunday of Easter. This homily is the last in the series, "Quo Vadis". We all agree that we want to go to Heaven at the end of our lives, but rarely do we lives as if that were the case. We must always remember the journey is the destiny and the destiny informs the journey. Check to see what path you are on to find out where you will end up at the end of the Journey. And if you are on the wrong path, change now so as to ensure your final destiny is with Christ.

Homily: Quo Vadis - 6th Sunday of Easter 2023
Here is the homily I gave for the 6th Sunday of Easter. This is the third in the series, "Quo Vadis." One of the difficulties we have following the Lord has to do with our prayer. If we are filled with pride when we pray, we cannot hear the Voice of God. Pray each day to grow in humility.

Here is the homily I gave for the 5th Sunday of Easter. This is the second in the series, "Quo Vadis". As we read the beginning of the discourse known as The Good Shepherd Discourse from the Gospel of St. John, we are called to follow the Good Shepherd. Homily: Jesus Really is the One - 4th Sunday of Lent
Here is the homily I gave for the 4th Sunday of Lent. This is the fourth in the series, "Jesus Really is the One." Today there are many things that blind us to the Truth. Many of the worldly cares and ideologies prevent us from understanding Who Jesus really is. The beauty of Catholicism is that it is based on a relationship first and foremost, not on doctrine and rules. As our Lenten journey continues, we must keep working to improve our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Homily: Jesus Really is the One - 2nd Sunday of Lent
Here is the homily I gave for the 2nd Sunday of Lent. This is the 2nd in the series, "Jesus Really is the One." So often we have blinders on that prevent us from truly appreciating Who Jesus really is. These blinders can come from a variety of place, most often due to the events in our lives. We must be pliable and open to the Lord, which means we must be healed of our deep seated wounds first.
