On Sunday, January 1, 2023, New Year’s Day, we joined together as a congregation to celebrate, in our first act of corporate worship, John Wesley’s Covenant Renewal Service. There was no sermon as part of that service, but Tim and Scott talked about what a covenant is, how God uses them to help us relate to Him, and how the themes of the covenant renewal service can shape our daily lives.

We draw our framework from Daniel 1, asking the question, "What was different about Daniel and his friends that allowed them to be resiliently faithful to God in the face of cultural coercion?"
