Sports Illustrated Ticketing, Sotheby’s Marketplace, and World’s Richest Man Owning NFT’s
- The worlds richest man (Bernard Arnault) wasn’t so hot on NFT’s in the past. He has recently came around to the new technology and actually has his own wallet/collection of NFT’s.
- Sports Illustrated is launching a ticketing platform called “Box Office” developed by SI Tickets on the Polygon network. Sotheby’s launched a peer-to-peer NFT marketplace that will offer a “rotating, curated selection of leading artists hand-picked by Sotheby’s specialists”.
- Venmo has unlocked crypto transfers. Venmo users will be able to transfer crypto to other Venmo accounts, PayPal accounts, and external wallets, including Ethereum MetaMask wallets.

What Does Mass Adoption Look Like?
On this episode I talk about my thoughts on Mass Adoption and how I believe more people will interact and get excited about the digital future. We have to zoom out and look at what’s going on in the world for insights on what’s ahead. Sony recently releasing patents to integrate NFT's into gameplay is another huge indicator of big corporations making adjustments towards the future of digital assets. So many different ways and angles this could happen, gaming being a big one on my mind recently... This will only lead to more exploration of the Metaverse and various experiences that could take place. The reality is that increasingly more and more people will want to own their digital assets and move/flex across different platforms, which we are already seeing.

Instagram Removes NFT’s & Sesame Street’s NFT Collection
Instagram had enough of the Non-Fungi world and is removing NFT’s from their platform. Zuckerberg removed NFT’s but will more than likely be finding a new way to have NFT’s integrated into a new decentralized platform. Sesame Street fans were not thrilled about the latest drop. It’s still just too early, Joe shmo down the street still doesn’t understand NFT’s and the potential use cases regarding utility in the collectible aspect. Education, education, education.
