Prebiotics, Probiotics and Postbiotics - What You Should Know
Prebiotics, Probiotics and Postbiotics - What You Should Know
Many people in today's modern world experience an imbalance within their microbiome. Several factors - eating habits, environmental, other health conditions - contribute to this imbalance.
Prebiotics are carbohydrates that humans cannot digest.
Probiotics help to support healthy digestion by up-regulating gastric secretions, assisting with the synthesis of B-vitamins, and aiding in the absorption of minerals.
Postbiotics are bioactive compounds that are produced when your good gut bacteria (probiotics) ferment fiber. So probiotics + prebiotics = postbiotics.
Join Partners in Health and Biz podcast host Gail Dixon-McBride as she breaks down the differences and uses for each one of these biotics and how they can benefit your health.

Fat soothes the nerves and provide the basis for myelin, the protective shield that covers nerve cells. Fat is found in all body cells in combination with other nutrients. Essential fatty acids are an important link in the health chain.
Excess fat, however can be a problem. It it stored in the liver, in arteries around the heart, and in all tissue. CDC Releases New COVID Guidelines/ Final Natural Cures
CDC Releases New COVID Guidelines/ Final Natural Cures
Tune into the Partners in Health and Biz podcast, with your Health and Wellness Consultant, Gail Dixon-McBride. This week's topic is the CDC's release of new COVID guidelines going forward, and we conclude the last part of the Natural Cures series, wrapping up Vitamins C and E, from our previous episode.
The COVID new rules still recommend that people who are sick with COVID-19 should isolate at home, but people — including students in schools — do not have to quarantine if they have been exposed to someone who had tested positive but are not feeling sick themselves. Instead, people who have been exposed should take a diagnostic test on the fifth day after the date of exposure, and to wear a mask for ten days after that date.
Antioxidant vitamins, including vitamins E and C, are being tested and used to treat a number of diseases - cancer, asthma, infertility, diabetes, arthritis, degenerative eye diseases, and degenerative brain diseases, such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

Natural Cure#10 - Potent Cancer Therapy - Diet and Supplements
Natural Cure#10 - Potent Cancer Therapy - Diet and Supplements
An anticancer diet makes sense, used in conjunction with other conventional treatments, as an adjunct therapy, not as a sole therapy. The same is true for megadoses of antioxidants and other vitamins and, for that matter, other natural substances. It's unlikely that one alone will act as a cure for cancer, but there's good evidence that many combined can support and individual's ability to survive cancer. Don't count on one or two magic bullets to fight cancer: It takes many streams to make a river, according to an old proverb.
Tune in to the Partners in Health and Biz podcast, with host Gail Dixon-McBride, and listen to some of the testimonies of people who have miraculously survived and beat cancer, using positive thinking, visualization, meditation, prayer, vitamins, supplements, and cancer medications.

Vitamin D: What You Need to Know
Vitamin D: What You Need to Know
Vitamin D is a nutrient we ingest (from food or supplement) and our bodies synthesize (from sunlight; skin contains a "precursor" molecule that is transformed into vitamin D when exposed to UVB rays).

Join Partners in Health and Biz talk show host Gail Dixon-McBride as she shares the latest research on Vitamin D and how important it is for you.
