Are Video Games A Waste of Time?
For most people video games are a waste of time, they are an escape from the issues they need to handle. If you are achieving your goals and playing video games at the end of the day, then they are fine for you. If you are making money from playing them and operating a business they are fine. Video games being a waste of time all depends on your situation and circumstances.

Unable to Feel Anger About the Man Who Abused Me
I never felt anger towards my abuser for some reason. My parents felt anger I guess I was able to channel that anger into a creative outlet, like video games, this wasn’t always a good thing. I would rage at other people in games or get mad at myself pretty easily. I think another part of it is because I reconciled my abuse and feel if I can tell my story I can help others. I live an incredible life I am grateful for and a life of beauty. I believe that was the reason I am here, which is to influence and raise awareness in men's lives...to let them know they can find light at the end of the tunnel. And if that is why I went through it it makes perfect sense to me.

Making Sharing Your Story with Abuse Easier
Let's start off by saying sharing anything personal especially with abuse is not an easy thing to do. However, sharing your story with abuse is important. These are three things I did in order to make it EASIER keyword being easier, it was not easy for me to speak up or share with others. Sometimes I would think about sharing for hours before I would tell a friend...but the more I did share the easier it would get to share with total strangers...and finally my own parents.

What is Empowerment?
Today we are exploring the definition of empowerment. Using fishing as an analogy we explain empowerment as having 3 phases or parts.

Empowering Others
Today we are discussing how you and I can empower those around us to speak up against abuse. People all around us are abused and stay quiet because they feel they are alone and no one will listen, or believe them. By walking the walk we show them they are not alone, there are many people like them and that it is okay to speak up.
