We pause our tour of district Teachers of the Year to meet the students who take center stage on our new billboard [located on Route 30 (The White Horse Pike)]. First, we hear from Superintendent Reina about marketing our schools to the community and a new initiative for prospective students: GreaterFuture.net. Then, students from Oakcrest, Absegami & Cedar Creek talk about their schools, activities, memories and new-found celebrity.
S01E07: 2023 Absegami Teacher of the Year Celene Hiltner
Our continued celebration of the district's best teachers with Gami English teacher Celene Hiltner. First, we hear from two of her students (01:40), and then Ms. Hiltner talks modest bragging (04:26), the love of students (06:36), being vulnerable in the classroom (08:14), "that girl who wore the dress," (09:50) and an unnatural affinity for Sir Rod Stewart (11:35).
