Gen X Talks!

Well, today we find out if dad kept his resolution, and how my sister almost lost a bunny to a hawk. And of course the thing in dads ear. (gross)

Yep, my parents really covered it all! I loved listening to them on this podcast. Usually, not so much. :) But this was so fun it seemed it was over in an instant. 

Im not sure what to say. Dad 'postponed' something but when I do it, i'm called lazy. Bill Clinton made it legal? What?!?! & God Hates Genxtalks.

Dad said they lied, mom said they didn't. Where's his hat? Where's the black cat? And what would we do if a 400 pound man fell over? LOL

Dad was a bit upset, mom cried and nothing was accomplished. But I get why they talked about this. Not an easy topic, not a podcast for everyone.

My parents are really old! LOL They couldn't even survive a quick 24 hour Las Vegas turn around trip without taking 2 days to recover. The Pro Bowl event was great, mt parents hated the hotel and the drive home. The drive home was great by the way, I slept. LOL. Anyways, here it is. Not much of a podcast but a great recap of the past 36 hours for them. 

Well, just like last week, mom went after dad pretty hard. Dad escaped with a few cuts and bruises but she was definitely in a mood. (again)

This one is sort of complicated to explain. Mom pretty much ripped dad the whole podcast. What else? Dad hates shopping wiht mom. Dads dr update. Generation X has a PERFECT view about the classified documents deal. And dead bodies being returned to the earth. Yes, there's more but that's the basics of it. :)

The show moves along at a decent pace until our staff member Lotorc begins to steal the spotlight. Every Las Vegas story seemed to have his name wrapped up in there somewhere.

How does a man talk about his johnson? 'The Dude' from the Big Lebowski needs his, and dad wants his back! LOL Also, Vegas, the rental car compnay guy and stories we can't speak of.

I never knew my dad had a lifetime ban from ever renting a car form Hertz. The wind last night was the worst since I was born! Mom wasn't as cheery being it was way too early. LOL.. You'll see.... 

Sort of a quick episode updating dads medical situation. Some stuff about Christmas day and how I got in trouble for leaving town with 2 girls. (you'll see) 

Mom and dad were all over the map today. I sorta got lost. But we did get fan questions in there, along with a history lesson (twice) from both my parents. They ran long but this will give you something to laugh at over Christmas break. 

I know that is a very odd combonation in the title, but there it is. And it will make sense as the podcast unfolds. This one was super fun to do! Mom and dad made it easy to edit and I DID LISTEN! LOL  They keep getting better each episode. Thanks parental units. :)

What I learned listening to my parents today? Both blame each other for lack of 'Bandonkadonk'. Christmas is depressing. I am perfect. Our sponsor has not tag-line. And dad has a lot on his plate.

2 doorbells and a brief discussion on how the comment section of a video strongly disagreed with my mom. First time ever, but it happened. And dad still can't say one word. 

So mom stayed dressed, my sister can't get her shit together, 3 tries at the sponsor mention and apparently women are always right about frozen turkeys. (I guess) 

So my parents didn't follow one single instruction. Not one! Then my mom told everyone what makes her clothes come off fast and dad said the dog ate his podcast? WHAT!??!?!!??!?! Every time I leave them alone this is what happens? Nobody will sponsor us now.

With the kid back in the saddle (me) the podcast can get back on track and return to it's glory days. Right?

Viewers hit dad last week with a few questions so dad figured turn-a-bout was fair play. This week he ambushed mom with deep personal stuff. I am still working through school with FFA stuff, trying to get clear to help them with the podcasts. LOL

Well, parents helped me out again! UGH, school and my car are weighing me down. I do agree with my dad when he talks about my generation pulling away from the teachers and the law they imprint on us all. I know exactly what he means because we do it all the time. Questions for my dad thi stime? Guess my mom is next? LOL

Today turned out to be a tough day while Mom slept. Mom and Dad once again helped me out and covered a lot of ground. They continued the stories from last week and dad got himself into a mess this week. Thanks Mom! Thanks Dad! I'll be back behind the mic soon!

Well? Let's see. We found out Beauford may be homeless. Mom and dad still arguing about the bedroom. And dad got banned from Tik Tok. Is there more? Of course. LOL

A short episode with my sister and parents covering some of the bad stuff that goes on behind the scenes in the county fair with livestock and judges. My sister was also in FFA like me. (but she was never an officer)   :)

Does anyone even remember pride in your own family? A family name when it meant something? Back when shame came upon a family by how you acted? Does anyone remember or even care? And how did we get here? This was a rambling incomplete podcast and I apologize. I was hit yesterday with devistating news and didn't finish the podcast until today. I'm still not ok. Please don't give up on the podcasts. We will be better.

The NFL is starting soon and mom and dad take a break and have a friendly conversation with predictions. (Back to family stuff next week) LOL :) 

Mom and dad fill in for me (again) and make another boring podcast. The only shining spot? They disagreed and argued during the podcast. Guess there's a first time for everything. LOL

Mom and Dad filled in for me. I left them some questions and of course they messed them all up. They rambled about old movies, Vin Scully dying and how it feels to have an empty house. For those that know them, this might feel like reading a letter from back home. :)

Today dad went deep. I think he was talking about me most of the time. LOL And believe it or not, I get it. I listened as a kid and am beginning to understand perenting is very rewarding and very hard. Give it a listen and tell me what you think.

My dad went dark. Deep into a place I had never heard him go before. This was hard for me to hear. Mom cried while listening and I had to stop and walk away. But I am very glad he spoke on it. It's another piece of my dad I didn't know. I hope this helps someone.

We saw Maverick opening day at Studio Movie Grille. Dad was drinking, mom was swooning and I watched with my eyes wide open the whole time! This movie did not disappoint. ***SPOILERS*** hit right off the bat, so please be careful. We came straight home and recorded! Have fun!

This is not a car talk episode. It is not a technical episode. Just some stuff you should know. A little bit of where we have been and then, where we are all going. Yes, even me. 

Dad sat in front of the microphone one morning aftrer an incredible dream. Some of what he recorded ended up here. Solid, simple advice for other parents and thier kids. An outline for you to succeeed in your own way.

Dad STRONGLY feels comedy is the last area of free speech. And he doens't think it will last.

My mom literally sat my dad down and threw 3 random topics at him from google news. LOL! Partially to get him back in front of the microphone and a little bit just to see if he could talk for 20 minutes about any random owrd or idea. A bowling ball or a lampshade. HA HA HA .... Guess he did it because here we are.  Enjoy!

I am learning my interview techniques. Still working on them but I thought I would try them out on Dad and ask him a few questions about how he became a mechanic. Hey! Here we are again!  Mom's back! Today we get a Superbowl analysis, quick thoughts on the trucker convoy, my grades and schoolwork (for some stupid reason that made the list) and a preview on the leukemia podcast coming soon. My dad woke up 2 days ago with more of the 'racism and how we all handle it' on his mind. To be fair he gets into a lot of discussions about it and it bothers him a lot. But the other day he went deeper. How do I know? He was up at 6am typing away very loud. I went to school but my Mom asked him to read some of what he was writing. So he did. She demanded he record some of those thoughts on a podcast, which he did. When I came home I listened to it several times. I'm not sure if I found anything that would get my Dad banned from social media. LOL But nobody wants to put their foot in their mouth while collecting their thoughts. In this episode my Dad, for the first time, pushes back on how groups promote their agendas and talks about how he feels they do more harm than good in some cases. I don't know..... you will either love it or hate it. I don't think this episode leaves any room for middle of the road loyalties. LOL. :) Remember, it's just my dads opinion.  GZK

In the news these days Democrats are afraid of "The great reset." They worry about 25 years of indoctrinating children might have a new "Zero Year." It's something we have all been discussing for 10 months. Now Dad interviews me and ties it all together. A solid piece of work that really gives America hope. (And I am trying to live up to it) THIS is a podcast I wont say will be a waste of your time. ...LOL... Like some of our other silly podcasts.  So, thank you in advance for taking time. GZK

My dad has a very interesting observation about one of the Antifa founder. Antifa's new strategy will not aline with Generation X.

My Dad and I were driving and talking about Gen X toys vs Gen Z toys. I gotta say now I'm jealous. Now I wanna go back and play with all the cool stuff you guys had. This is just my Dad rambling (again) about the good old days. I'm thinking I might put up a poll on Instagram letting you guys pick what the greatest toys were from Gen X youth. LOL Might start a war, but what the heck, right? 

Well, you guys have been sending my Dad thousands of emails asking questions. The most popular question by far is always "How did we end up here?" How did America get so far off track? This podcast sheds a little light on just one aspect of the answer. Its not a funny podcast but it is very personal. Dad did a good job and I thanked him for helping out.  GZK

Well, UGH!!!!!!!!! I had to delete and repost this. Sorry.... This is what I get for being in a hurry. Anyways, My Mom, my Dad, one older brother and Iceman round out the podcast with me. Everyone well into their drinking night (except me) and the laughs start early and keep going! This dives deep in certain Lebowski lore. I m new to the movie I have only seen it 5 times but I love it! And I love listening to my Dad and his buddies argue over the facts of the case. (New things have come to light)  Maybe you guys might take exception to some of the diagnosis of the events and that's what blogs are for. :) Anyways, Eric Scott Williams left his Los Angeles music world behind and helped straighten out our equipment. So this will be the LAST podcast with crappy sound! Thanks Eric!!!!!

       Well, this went live about a week ago and some really cool fans got ahold of me right away that the audio was so low you couldn't hear it hardly at all and parts went dead completely. (not the cool 'dead air' like on our livestreams, but the bad dead air that people hate and gets you fired) ...           The recording was way to low,  and yet some audio was spiking so loud it distorted, and the overall vibe was to DELETE it and never look back. But that's not what I did. I tried to fix what I could. The low is better but the distortion is still present. There is a whitewash background noise present throughout the whole podcast also. I don't know... If you can't stand it, just let me know. Maybe if enough complain, i'll pull it. If enough like it, I'll leave it up. Drop me an email, let me know if it is tolerable I guess.....
