In another random chat, recording between episodes, Tim and Ruth explore the idea of learning something new, and the difficulties you have when you have to start from scratch. Looking at the steps you have to go through to become good at something, including figuring out where you're bad at it, and finding out where to improve.

Matt DesLauriers
Ruth and Tim speak to artist & creative coder Matt Delauries about his process, goals when creating, and all things generative art.
For those that don't know Matt, his open-source code around generative art is a great place to start, as well as his many many conference talks and workshops, and of course all the beautiful beautiful art.

Sharell Bryant
Ruth and Tim sit down with the very talented Sharell Bryant! We talk about Sharell's stunning audio explorations on the web. As well as keeping motivated and on track with side projects, different ways to learn and grow, which tools you can utilize to help along the way!
For those that don't know her, Sharell Bryant is a programmer and singer-songwriter in NYC interested in exploring the intersection of art, technology, and education. During the week she’s a Tech Lead Manager for the Web Platform team at Teachers Pay Teachers, a marketplace where educators can buy, share, and sell original resources, where she supports product engineers working on the front-end. On nights and weekends, you can find her playing with her guitar around the city or working on a creative coding project.

Algorithms
Ruth and Tim dig into algorithms! What are they, why do we use them, and what are some useful algorithms to look at when building generative art.

In another random chat, recording between episodes, Tim and Ruth explore creativity - what it means, the creative brain, why are we creative and the need for it.

Jake Albaugh
Ruth and Tim have a big chat with Jake Albaugh, creative coder, experimenter & mad scientist who can hear colors. His projects expand across a broad range of topics with the web in common.

Tooling
Yet another managerial episode from Ruth and Tim, where they give an overview of what you might use to create generative art, or get started with creative coding. Each of the things discussed are a subject to themselves, but to start let's have an overview of what you could use in your creative journey.

Chat.random(1) Randomness
Tim and Ruth have a lot to chat about it would seem. So welcome to the first in our off piste episodes: Chat.random(). Just like generative art, these chats are random, accidental, but worth keeping, so we did just that. This is the first Chat.random() and it is all about just that; randomness! We just couldn't help it!

Charlie Gleason
Our first guest! The talented Charlie Gleason joins us and chats about his journey into creative coding and the things he has built. All the way through Actionscript, sound engineering, design and of course there's some generative art in there!

Generative Art, Digital art and the world of Creative Coding
In this episode Ruth and Tim have a big wide look into the world of creative code, exploring both digital and generative art. There's lots to know, so lets get into it!

Introducing the Generative Art Podcast
Ruth and Tim get to talking about what they want to get out of this podcast, where we want to take it, and preaching the good word of creative code, and generative art.
