Episode 14: Week 49: Day 2 And Counting

I was concerned about this episode, because it was only Gloria involved. Neither Susan nor Barbara appeared. After rereading it about a dozen times, I finally decided that there was so much in her brain that this was a pivotal episode, and it had to be that way. The three will be together in the next episode. And here's a hint about the next episode. Not only can trees talk to the THREE WHITE LIONS at levels far beneath our ability to hear, they can also move around at will!

We hear more detail about the Scaley One's un-dinner party. Clearly, all but the senator greatly feared their host. You could see the twin birds legs shaking beneath the table. But the senator was so self-absorbed, she did not even notice. Nor did she wait for the host to pick up his fork, which would have been polite. No. She just dug in. And almost dug herself an early grave.

The Scaly One told the giant birds:

‘You have done a fine job with the COVID virus. It was simply brilliant creating this endless supply of variants! Then, you followed up with the, shall we say, outstanding re-educating the public against vaccinations! Well done!’ Blue Woman! I believe you were part of those lies, were you not?

Of course, the duo knew if they blew their assignment, The Cold One would have had one of them for dinner while he made the other one not only watch but participate.

Then, The Scaly One turned to the Blue Woman. And you, My Dear, what an exquisite job you have done, turning 32 percent of the American public against the other two-thirds. There are millions of the Frozen Stargazer Party who will fall over the edge of sanity and go to war for the Dud [she giggled].

Was it a dream? Or was it reality? The tallest White Lion, Barbara, had not nearly removed herself from the dream. Its tendrils clung to her legs as she tried to walk away from it. With a final tug, she emerged into the now:”

‘I had the most beautiful, awful dream in my life! I know. I know. That does not make sense. Let me see if I can translate it into words. I was in the woods, not our timber, but some far north of here. And it was cold, so very cold. Only the pines added color to the landscape, and a sliver of the moon was always shining.

‘But I had to go there for some reason. A path even darker than the road pulled me deeper into the forest. I could hear animals moaning and the trees groaning in the wind that never stopped.'

THREE WHITE LIONS: Week 50 Day: 2 And Counting by Gloria Christie

The three lionesses finally knew that they needed to return. Gloria and Barbara turned off at the safe house. And Susan went back to guarding the president. If you must know, he is not an easy man to guard. He talks to everyone, stopping unexpectedly to shake the hand of an old union member. Then, they were in the East Room for a small-to-medium group of people. The president was in his element. Then, Susan felt a stabbing pain through her heart. She looked down but saw no blood. But It was deadly, and she began to fall to the floor. That was when a gentle-looking man stepped between her and the One-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. He was alive and staring right at her with a smile that looked more like a grimace gracing.his thin cruel lips.

There is still such a pull from the insurrectionists in the Frozen Stargazer Party toward taking. down America and all her freedoms. If the January 6 coup had been successful, already the Speaker of the House and the rightful president would be in a filthy prison room with nothing to eat but moldy bread and rank water. Dirty straw was their bed, and a bucket was their toilet. No one knew whether King Dud planned on executing them, but he had made noise to that effect. 

But people did know that there were the hunters out there. They were in Texas and other states hunting down women who a snitch thought had been pregnant for the $10,000 bounty. Why was the press not talking about that reality?

King Dud had a long list of enemies, which were his first priorities. They could be journalists, thinkers, or members of the Fly Phoenix Party, or even near-members. The jails were overflowing. The people did not have enough food. And the Frozen Stargazer legislators who had sold their souls to appease the king and retain their seat of power, found themselves kicked to the curb.

Fortunately, this had not come to pass. Not yet.

Barbara, the third massive White Lion knew whom she was dealing with. The senator on the "boat" parked in Washington, D.C.'s river was wrestling with his demons. And it was her job to assist him in that adventure. It was dirty work, but she did not mind. At the moment, she was dealing with the three-headed Demon Greed.

 'The eight demons were: Greed, Fear, Chaos, Disinformation, Poverty, Grief, Addiction, and Sickness. The three-faced Greed, oh how much he resembled the greedy senators who were so easily seduced. One face was Greed for Money. The second was Greed for Power. And the third face desired Fame.'

In this sixth chapter of THREE WHITE LIONS, they show us an alternate reality. 

'What the people didn't understand was that they came literally minutes from awaking to a completely different country on January 7. Instead of the freedoms that come with Democracy, ones the people had taken for granted, they would be living under a cold uncaring dictator. Never mind that he was also insane and given to rages that lasted for days...Texas had moved its border north to consume Oklahoma. Now, though, it was called North Texas.'

When the lioness Barbara was seriously threatened, she ran toward the Old Man in the Tree. He was waiting for her and opened his wooden arms. The lioness moved as if to climb the tree but stopped standing on her powerful back legs, hugging him. In turn, the tree folded his arms around her and folded her within him.

The three beautiful lions came to help their president when he was in big trouble. In the land of the frozen star-gazer lily and the soaring phoenix bird, there was much happening. The president was beset by problem after problem. Of course, the lions had to move into their human forms, three young women to help him out. The star-gazer lily land was haunted by creatures unlike we had ever seen. And these were the source of the president's dilemmas. Meet Linda Q, the original Q. The hurricane of words she threw down before her turned into conspiracies as they landed. The wind tearing at her blue face and her blue body. Come join us!

The three white lions are beginning the assignments that the president had given to them. Only to find that the problem was far deeper than he realized...or may he did. They introduce us to three of the creatures who roam the streets of Washington, D.C. The is the Scaly One called that not because of a skin condition, but because he was reptilian and stuffed into a former old white man. Oddly, he looked perfectly like many of the octogenarians on D.C.'s streets. Then, there was the Great Invisible Sloth who silently ate away at Americans' understanding of what their responsibilities were for their great democracy. The last one...in this chapter, was Chaos who looks like an eery toxic fire raging away at the country's Now and giving them no choice but to stand on the edge of the great Bridge of Change. The Three White Lions have come to Washington D.C. to take an assignment from the President of the United States. 

In Chapter 2, Barbara first felt the terrible cold that the reptilian one gave off. But she couldn't see him. He had no choice but to take human form all of the time. But he was hard on them. When he wore out one body, he would just go kidnap another one. That day the scaly one was in the muddy river water, waiting like a crocodile spying lunch.

Of course, the lionesses had transformed themselves into three young women, beautiful but just off a bit from what a real human would be. Susan is an Asian woman, but her eyes are purple. Barbara is Black but a unique skin shade. Gloria had pink hair with red highlights and her skin was whiter than any normal human had seen. But they were good enough to pass. And pass they did.

This is the second chapter of an exciting book about three white lionesses who are rare, but these three are extremely rare. They transform themselves to come to the president's aid. Find out what is happening next.

So the president calls upon the THREE WHITE LIONS to help him. The beautiful lions are so rare that only the president and a few others even know they exist. The THREE WHITE LIONS immediately come to his assistance and take his challenge. And as they say, the fight is on.

Well, the first time I tried to record my Friday night THREE WHITE LIONS podcast, the electricity went off. The second time, I got an unexpected phone call that I had to take. The third time, I started recording and finished about 20 minutes later, and it did not take. Clearly, I did something. But I decided at that point that maybe I should skip this 4th of July weekend and come back Monday. Then, I'm going to try some interesting new things regarding your bedtime news stories. Next Friday, I will be back. The big change is that I'm not reading the chapter. Instead, rather than reading, I'm going to discuss the chapter with you. It will be more fun for both of us! Hi! Welcome to my podcast Three White Lions! Tonight the first Bedtime News Story is about how the FBI  tracked down two women who went to the Capitol on January 6. "The FBI continues to follow the tips like strands of a cobweb that lead to insurrectionists who were a part of a seething mob of thousands on January 6." One of their daughters texted a friend, wishing that she could go, too, and the FBI was onto them. Both women were arrested, charged, and sent to the Washington D.C. courts. "The mob stormed the U.S. Capitol Building on orders of the big old wolf spider sitting at the center of the entire web to steal the election from Congress and return it to him."

"The second Bedtime News Story is about how well President Joe Biden is doing his first 100 days. We knew that he was "compassionate, but thought he was also a bit stodgy and ultra-moderate." Were we ever surprised.
