Awo (Baba) Falokun, Initiations into the Mysteries of IFA
Awo Falokun Fatunmbi is a Babalawo in the Ifa Orisha tradition, an Ifa scholar and theologian. He has over 30 years of experience in the Ifa Orisa Tradition. He has written over 20 books, numerous articles, and publications exploring and expounding upon the tradition of Ifa and the Yoruba religion. He is considered one of the most influential writers of the faith because of his ability to teach complicated indigenous concepts to a Western audience. He is also considered one of the esteemed elders who promoted traditional approaches to Ifa based in Africa when Lucumi, one of its branches established in Cuba, was more popular in the West. With his first book Iwa Pele, Fatunmbi brought more awareness of the importance of developing good character in the tradition. His following books expounded in concepts such as Divination, Ori, Warriors, Egun, Ancestral practices, the Orisa, Oriki, and so much more.
The point of initiation is to give people access to their full potential as human beings. The first step is aligning yourself to a good character, “Iwa Pele.” Initiation balances your head, your heart, and the left and right sides of the brain, opening your consciousness to the 256 portals of the sacred Odu, thereby giving one an experience of connecting to their higher self. In this mystery school, you will learn the prayer cycles and Increase your ability to commune with spirit. If you have ever heard of the iching (which used 64 hexagrams), this system is four times the information and potency. Initiatives will receive a reading that will pinpoint their guardian Orisa (godhead) or aspect of nature their higher self chose before incarnating. Initiates will learn how to start divination with a system our ancestors used to solve problems using the organic computer system of Yoruba, which is over 10,000 years old. This process helps to activate your light body, otherwise known as a “Merkaba.” Awo Falokun is sanctioned by the king of Ile Ife and other elders to do initiations in the USA.

A dreamer since childhood, Aminat had numerous supernatural experiences, so it was only natural that she was instantly drawn to the deep symbolism present in western oracle systems (such as tarot). In 2010, a series of life-changing events brought her back to her indigenous roots, and the rich symbolism of Yoruba (west African) culture. She created the Iyami Oracle to showcase the triple goddess archetype in Yoruba culture and to bridge the gap between West African and western spiritualist communities.

Michael Reynolds, Autonomous Homes
Reynolds grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He has said that his father's habit of hoarding and reusing materials was an early inspiration for utilizing recycled items.[1] After graduating from the University of Cincinnati in 1969, Reynolds immediately began producing his provocative work. His thesis was published in Architectural Record in 1971 and the following year he built his first house from recycled materials. The structures built under his direction utilize everyday trash items like aluminum beverage cans, plastic bottles and used tires. Instead of using conventional, energy-consuming, recycling methods, however, Reynolds takes the discarded items and recycles them as-is. His Thumb House, built in 1972, used beer cans wired together into "bricks", which were mortared together and then plastered over. The brick design was patented in 1973.
Reynolds calls this practice "Earthship Biotecture". He cites as an epiphany the moment he realized that any object could be utilized—an old tire could become a powerful and durable thermal mass when it was filled with soil, or a pop bottle could be used for insulation. The packed soil stores and releases heat from the earth and sun. Each earthship home takes about 800 to 900 automobile tires. He has written five books on the subject.
