Licensed Tour Guide Talks About Finding Resilience After 911 and Covid, Interview with Christina Stanton

Christina Ray Stanton is a Florida native who has lived in New York City for almost 30 years. Christina is a licensed NYC tour guide who has led thousands of people on tours since 1995. In 2017, she founded a nonprofit called Loving All Nations, which helps the world’s poor and vulnerable. Christina has written two books and over twenty articles that have won awards and have been featured on TV channels and in top publications all over the world. She is a sought-after speaker on the subject of 9/11.

Website: www.christinaraystanton.com, Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/christinaraystanton

My book addresses our experience of living six blocks from the World Trade Center during the September 11, 2001 attacks. We had to evacuate our home after the second plane flew over our heads while we stood on our 24th-floor terrace. When the buildings came down, we were covered with dust and debris and spent hours outrunning smoke that threatened to asphyxiate us in Battery Park. We were carried off the island of Manhattan by boat in the largest boat evacuation in history and were homeless for almost two weeks before we could get back into our apartment. We struggled with PTSD, unemployment, and health issues in the aftermath. My book about Covid-19 is related to 9/11, in the sense that the toxins from the 9/11 dust compromised my health and likely led to a near-fatal case of the virus. I was hospitalized twice and told I had a 50% chance of survival.

I’ve been given a gift that no one would want — the chance to speak from inside two of the most shattering events to hit our country in the past century. But both calamities taught me that we have an enormous capacity to speak into each other’s lives, and both large and small acts of kindness can alter someone’s future. I want to inspire others by telling stories that include examples of how we can lift each other up. I also founded a non-profit called Loving All Nations after surviving 9/11, which addresses need after man-made and natural disasters around the world.

Nancy was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a former scientist and a self taught artist who found her true passion in abstract art. She paints loosely in colorful acrylic and mixed media. Her paintings reflect her extensive travels and memories made. She paints with bright colors, broad strokes and energy and her collectors describe her work as “uplifting” and “imaginative”. From Trauma-Induced Narcistic Behaviors to Becoming A Life Optimization Coach, Interview with Derek Newborn

From Trauma-Induced Narcistic Behaviors to Becoming A Life Optimization Coach, Interview with Derek Newborn

After being named one of Florida's Top Personal Trainer, Derek Newborn became a published fitness model. However, the more attention he received, the more self-destructive he became in every aspect of his life. This process is what led him to reach rock bottom, including multiple suicide attempts. He had become a full-blown narcissist. After accepting what he was and exactly where he was in my life, he devoted himself to killing that version of him while helping victims of narcissists gain back control of their hearts and minds. He created thenewbornblueprint.com to help men avoid the common pitfalls that lead to extreme narcissism as well as show others what to look for to avoid entering a relationship with a narcissist.

He’s been a teenage father, a construction worker, a personal trainer, a fitness model, and a business owner...He’s also been a liar, a cheater, a backstabber, and a narcissist...through his trials, tribulations, and downfalls, He’s been able to create a blueprint for success for the modern man. He’s created a set of plans specifically designed to help men live every aspect of their life at the highest level while being able to avoid the costly pitfalls of the modern male society.

Tapping for Resilience with Dr Katie Nall

Tapping for Resilience with Dr Katie Nall

During childhood, our guest moved with her mother and two siblings attending 12 different schools in five different states. After leaving home in high school, she lived on the streets sleeping under the bushes until friends figured out her lifestyle. With education as her goal, she finally asked her high school guidance counselor to find her a home to complete high school education. For her senior year, she lived in a foster home. The day after graduation, she flew to San Diego to attend college where she found herself 20 miles away from the nearest college with no car. Undeterred, she hitchhiked back and forth to classes.

Not only does our next guest now have her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education, she also is a TEDx speaker, a professional member of National Speakers Association, and an Accredited Master Trainer and Certified Practitioner in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) with additional training in trauma, quantum, and picture EFT. Whether in person or online, Dr. Nall shows others how to dissolve their WAFFLES – worry, anxiety, fear, frustration, lethargy, exhaustion, and stress. A careless housekeeper and worse cook with no desire for rehabilitation she somehow is still married to the same person for over 48 years.

Author Christopher King Discusses How Resilience Helped Him Push Through Anger, Depression, Anxiety, and Rejection

Christopher King II is a 27-year-old author born in Dallas, Texas. He is a first-generation college graduate of the Historical Black College or University, Prairie View A&M University where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Management Administration with a minor in Marketing in 2018. During his time at PVAMU, he had a lot of obstacles to overcome. From nearly getting kicked out of college multiple times, to nearly being incarcerated one college night. After having a close encounter with God, he decided he needed to make a change. He ended up getting more involved in school and leading organizations. He made a total 360-degree change in a short span of time. After he graduated, he wanted to continue sharing his testimony about the things he experienced in college. He then decided to write two self-help novels, to help others who struggle with hard times in life. He wanted to let others know that they are not alone, and they can overcome all things! Also, he has a YouTube Channel where he films vlogs and speaks about the same things.

Resilience and Inclusion in the Workplace with Julien Lefort, Succes Coach, Trainer and Mentor

Resilience and Inclusion in the Workplace with Julien Lefort, Succes Coach, Trainer and Mentor

For the last 15 years, Julien has worked with both non-profit (AIESEC, Chance UK, Coaching For Everyone) and private sector (Société Générale, Adecco, Thomsons Online Benefits - Mercer group). Originally working in a corporate environment managing Learning and Development functions globally, his job was supporting people in their development as leaders and as individuals, creating programs that would make them shine as employees and make them grow and develop.

After missing an important event in his daughter’s life, and a feeling of being stuck in his work, Julien decided to make the shift to entrepreneurship. As a Success Coach, a Trainer, and Mentor of coaches, he works with a range of truly amazing individuals from coaches to creative entrepreneurs.

Most recently, he has been diving into the correlation between Resilience (specifically in his work as a coach) and Diversity & Inclusion. Even though diversity was always around (he was raised in a french-senegalese family, one of his aunts is from the LGBTQ+ community, he has members of his family who suffered from mental health issues, and now he is married to someone from a different nationality), he still asks himself many questions on the impact he can have, but also whether he is moving in the right direction when it comes to becoming a more inclusive individual. That's when he created a program called Inclusion Coaching for Resilience to support leaders, HR specialists, DEI advocates and ambassadors, teams, etc. to develop their own skills and bridge the gap between awareness and action. This 5-step program aims to accelerate a leader's ability to be resilient through coaching and practicing inclusivity in the workplace.

Dr Michelle Page on Integrative Medicine & Caring for Ourselves During COVID-19

Michelle Page received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Creighton University. She then went on to complete a pharmacy residency at Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound in Seattle, Washington and also became a Board Certified in Geriatric Pharmacy. In addition, she has completed several certification programs including diabetes, smoking cessation, and medication management.

It was during her work in geriatrics when she began to become disillusioned with the allopathic medical model and started exploring lifestyle medicine and alternative healing modalities beyond herbs and supplements. This journey led her to the functional medicine model and its approach to treating the dis-ease found in the body.

As a life long learner, Dr. Page has a very diverse knowledge base and skill set that includes personal training, nutrition consulting and success coaching. All of which she utilizes as the founder of the Unbreakable Moms, a supportive community that connects moms with resources and a podcast.

Dr. Page is currently working on her first book about the influence of the gut-brain connection on mood which will be published in the spring of 2020.

She is a wife and mom of 2 daughters with whom she shares a home with their dog, 2 cats, and 2 fish. She enjoys being creative through performing music and making jewelry.

#ReinventYourself: Interview with Rachel Leigh

#ReinventYourself: Interview with Rachel Leigh

Here's a little note from Rachel:

"I am Rachel Leigh from Tennessee. I value living in the Bible Belt and Southern Hospitality as much as I value multiculturalism and being one small part of a huge diverse body of believers, all united in Christ.

I have a Masters level college education in Business and still consider my Fathers business of spreading the gospel of Christ my most important assignment. What lights me up is seeing the moment the Holy Spirit is invited in and first recognized by a new believer or the awe-inspiring world-shaking moments when a believer is given a new revelation of Gods glory. I love these “light bulb moments” and love to share my own. I just love that God chose such a humble creation as us to grow His Kingdom and to be His Kingdom. I’m a grateful daughter of the Most High King!"
