We will look at Ruth this weekend and her heart and how we might emulate her and her devotion to God.

A lot of people say, “I’ll believe it when I see it!” God says the exact opposite is true: “You will see it when you first believe it.” There are many things in life that have to be believed before they can be seen.

Jesus said, “Unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God” (John 3:3 NLT). Before there is spiritual transformation in your life, you’re too narrow-minded to see the possibility of what God wants to do in your life.

It is faith that causes the scientist to believe that we can put a man on the moon. It is faith that causes an architect to design a building because, first, she believes it can be done. It is faith that causes an Olympic athlete to practice and go to the Olympic trials because she believes she can achieve. It is faith that causes a sculptor or an artist to believe that he can paint a picture or attempt the sculpture. Someone has to believe it before you see it. It is a universal principle of life.

“How Do We Make Sense Out of the Storms In Life?” How do we become “Unshakeable? Stand Firm In the Storm?

That’s this Sunday’s Message. I am really excited to bring you this message based upon Matthew 14 where Peter actually walks on water and the lessons we can learn from that in our own storms in life!

The reality is if you live long enough you will face some storms, so how do we trust God in the middle of them, how do we learn from God in them? What can they teach us?

How do we walk on water?

Can’t live with them, can’t live without them...other people!

Studies show having fewer social ties is associated with more heart disease, cancer, and impaired immune function, as well as with worse recovery when it comes to those health problems.

Research in 2019 and dating back to the 1970's suggests people with weaker social networks actually die younger (due to any cause) than people who have more extensive social networks. A more recent review of 148 studies concluded that on average having stronger social ties increased likelihood of an indvidual's overall survival by as much as 50 percent.

I know a lot of people think they don't need anybody, but in truth we all need somebody.
