(KJV)   Cain was the firstborn of Adam, but because he killed Able, his younger brother, his birthright was taken away. As a matter of fact, Cain himself was driven from the presence of God. But, before we continue reading in the scriptures, remember how Adam was taken out of the way because of his sin? God took the first man Adam who was made a living soul, out of the way. That He would establish the second man Adam, who was made a quickening Spirit. God took out of the way the firstborn Cain to establish the child who came after. So that the elder would serve the younger. And thanks be to God that He orchestrated it this way. Because in Christ, although he was before all these things. When God gives us a gift, a spiritual gift, that gift is alive, and we need to use it because if we don't use it God will take it and give it to someone more worthy than us. Matthew 25:28 Take therefore the talent from him and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him, that hath not should be taken away even that which he hath. God is a spirit and he gives us spiritual gifts so no matter what gift God has given you make sure you don't bury it in the earth, use it for the edifying of the body of Christ. Now we're in Genesis chapter four, beginning at the first verse. At the beginning of the fourth chapter in the book of Genesis, Adam knows his wife intimately, and she conceives and gives birth to Adam's firstborn, Cain, and says, "I have gotten a man from the Lord!" Genesis 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord (KJV). The first man Adam who was made a living soul, sinned against God by breaking the commandment of God. And so, through this one man's sin, the whole creation was subjected to vanity under the law. But the second man Adam was made a quickening Spirit by whose death sanctification came to all that believe in the name of Jesus. However, because of the curse God had spoken to Adam, his firstborn son Cain would inherit the task of tilling the cursed ground. Because God would visit the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation. Numbers 14:18 The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation (KJV). When the fathers sinned before grace and truth came, the children's teeth were set on edge. But knowing that a man cannot be justified by his works, it is evident that Cain's work would not be accepted as a sufficient sacrifice. Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified (KJV).

Stay focused on the "ground of the truth," although earth's land should not be dismissed altogether. Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life (KJV). And so what happened? The land got cursed; this was just the traditional land of the earth that was cursed and was not the pillar and ground of the truth where God had formed Adam.

Because of God's grace and guidance, we have made it through Genesis chapter one, chapter two, and half of the third chapter. In this episode, I will begin by bringing to your memory how Eve had eaten the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. She also had given her husband Adam to eat, and he ate the fruit. And after they had eaten the fruit, their eyes were open, and they knew that they were naked and tried to hide from God among the vegetation in the garden of Eden.   And then, they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, calling for Adam. Adam and Eve had tried to cover up by making leaf aprons, but that did not work out for them. So after Adam answered God, something happens that I did not mention in the episode before this one. Instead of Adam taking responsibility for what he had done, he instantly blamed the woman for giving him the fruit. It was as if Adam was telling God that it was God's fault that Adam had eaten the fruit. In other words, Adam dared to tell God that the woman that was given to him was the problem because she was the one that gave it to him, and so he ate it. So let us read this passage of scripture.   Genesis 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat (KJV).

Love causes prayer and praying brings love. Praying is one of the most important and powerful things we can do.

Many people don't know how much Jesus suffered for you and me, and that His suffering is throughout the Bible. In this lesson, we will hear many scriptures speaking of the suffering of Jesus and how important it is to eat the Holy Supper.

There will be times when we feel down and out, but in these moments, all we have to do is praise God, and we will come out alright. Because the Bible says in Nehemiah 8:10 "that the joy of the Lord is our strength." So when you feel down or sad, when things are not going right, or you feel under the weather, remember that your strength lies in praising God. If your joy is lost, you will most likely lose also because when a person is sad, they tend to make bad decisions, and when a person is angry, they tend to make horrible decisions. But when you have the joy of the Lord, though you are surrounded with trouble on every side, you will not be overwhelmed. And the problems will not be too bad or complex because the joy of the Lord overpowers the situations.

Sometimes we make things harder for ourselves than they would have been. For example, in Exodus chapter 13 verses 17-16 and 21-22, God had a plan for His people, and He had already set everything in motion according to His will. God makes a way for everyone just like He made a way for the children of Isreal. But He knew what they would do if He were to take them down the short path. If the children of Isreal would have trusted in God, and if they would have understood who they were in God, and would have understood that they were well-armed and able to fight the Egyptians. God would have taken them down the quicker, shorter path. And in so doing, they would have gone from Egypt to the promised land within a 40-days journey. They would have made it there quickly. But because they did not trust in God as they should have, nor did any understand who they were in God. They did not know what God had given them. So, God took them the long way, which resulted in their journey lasting around 40 years. So a 40-day trip turned into a 40-year journey. So don't make things harder for yourself.

When the children of Isreal came out of Egypt, they did not know what they had. Neither did they understand who they were in Christ.  Exodus 13:18 (KJV),  But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt. The world harnessed means able-bodied soldiers. The children of Isreal came out of Egypt armed and fully equipped solder but did not recognize that. They still had the mentality of being a slave. They did not know what God had given them, and they did not know what they could do in the name of God.

We all need something to separate us from all that the devil has to offer, and that is the wall of love, faith, and belief in the Holy Ghost through Jesus Christ.

I am excited to share with you what God has opened my eyes to see. We know that God is real. We know that God will never suffer more on us than we can bear, but sometimes it seems like the load gets a little heavy. But because our lives are hidden in Christ with God, the things that we go through, God knows we can handle as long as we stay in His will.
