Episode 37: When The Shoe Doesn’t Fit
Just like a pair of shoes, learning experiences aren’t one size fits all! In fact, there are a handful of factors you have to think about when designing one.
Along with Learning Experience Designers Kaye, Gerson and Ruth, we explore the design principle of “Kasya Lahat” or inclusivity in this Habi Hour episode, and what we have to learn (and unlearn!) so our learners all feel like they’re part of the experience.
Do you have any questions or insights about this design principle? Send us a voice memo at kumusta@habieducationlab.org, and we may just feature you in one of our episodes!

What does “clear” or “malinaw” mean to you?
For the first episode of the Habi Hour Season 4, we discuss our first design principle, “malinaw”, or clear. We also share some examples of learning experiences designed with clarity in mind and its impact on both the learner and the learning experience designer.
Do you have any questions or insights about this design principle? Send us a voice memo at kumusta@habieducationlab.org, and we may just feature you in one of our episodes!

Season 4 Intro: Welcome to Building Better
From abruptly changing to a digital set-up, offices and schools are now switching back to “normal”. The question is: What if we didn’t go back to normal and instead found a better way forward?
For the fourth season of Habi Hour, we take a deep dive at our design principles, and the practices we’ve done during the pandemic that helped us in building better learning experiences now that we transition into the new normal.

Episode 29: Culture Changers
Internships are usually one-way: the company dictates what, when, and how interns learn. Episode 27: Paano Ba Makipag-usap?
With the upcoming national elections in the Philippines, all of us have, one way or another, found ourselves in interesting conversations - perhaps some heated ones, and hopefully some healthy ones too.
Pero paano nga ba makipag-usap? Paano ba makipag-usap tungkol sa mga mainit na paksa tulad ng pulitika? Paano ba makipag-usap sa mga taong iba ang mga pananaw at paninindigan sa atin? Conversations, just like learning experiences, can be designed. Do you want to make sure someone has the right information about their candidates? Do you want to change someone’s mind about the kind of leadership the Philippines needs?
In this episode, we put together some tips on how to hold conversations from the KaKAMPInk sa Pakikipag-usap Training designed by Coaches for Leni, Facilitators for Leni, Psych for Leni, and HR for Leni in partnership with the Robredo People’s Council.
Ano ba ang hitsura ng pakikipag-usap na may radikal na pagmamahal? Healthy conversations are for everybody, and we’re happy that you’re here to listen.

Have you ever looked back at old photos, or maybe, thanks to Facebook, read a message you posted on your timeline years ago, and just cringed? Cringing at our past selves is actually a sign that we are evolving, growing, and changing as humans.
As Learning Experience Designers, we get our fair share of cringing over past LX designs that make us go, “What in the world were we thinking?!” In this episode, we share with you some of our LX design decisions that make us cringe when we look back, and more importantly, what has changed in us as designers over the years.
