Philippians chapter 4 teaches us to worry or want for nothing because God always provides.

Much of what we’re fighting are strongholds, enemies far more powerful than we can imagine. And that is why we exercise our faith in God to help us overcome the strongholds of anxiety, stress, and lack.

God placed the responsibility of guidance and care on the shepherds. It is the shepherd whom the community looks to for counseling, advice, and spiritual leadership. But the shepherds of today have neglected their duties. As a result, the flock is lost. God is now holding the shepherds responsible.

It’s so easy giving ourselves credit for all the good things that happen to us. But we must remember that our blessings come not by our own works, but by God’s mighty hand.

Terroists stormed the Capitol, calling for ‘Hang Mike Pence’ to vice-President Mike Pence, trump’s second-in-command, stormed the offices of Speaker Pelosi, rummaging through the hallowed halls of Congress, armed to the teeth, with every weaponry lobbied for by the National Rifle Association (NRA) screaming for members of Congress. The Republican Party decimated the sanctity of the halls of Congress and invited rioters to storm it. Own it.

Wednesday January 6,202, will go down in Infamy. It was the day trump supporters who had just left a rally organized by trump and his allies, incited a mob to stage a hostile take-over of the U. S. Capitol in Washington, DC. From all accounts this was an insurrection and a coup. All 435 members of Congress and 100 Senators, including the vice-president, a trump loyalist, were inside. Was this mob trying to simulate the George Floyd protests? What was their agenda? Did they have a civil rights grievance or did they just feel left out, because after all they are white, they were not shot at, beaten or rubber bullet pelleted. From all indications, barriers were removed, police took selfies with them while they robbed and pillaged the bastion of American democracy.

The year 2020 has gone down in history as one of the worst years in civilization. What can we expect of 2021? Does it mean that 2020 was a dress rehearsal or that 2020 won?

It was a Trump Campaign promise in 2016 to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) also known as ObamaCare. Jerry Falwell, Jr has sued liberty University, alleging the evangelical school founded by his late pastor father damaged his reputation in a series of public statements that followed his resignation as president and chancellor in August amid a series of scandals. The lawsuit filed in Lynchburg Circuit Court on Wednesday includes claims of defamation, and breach of contract. It alleges that Liberty officials accepted what Falwell says are false claims about his involvement in an extramarital affair between his wife and a business partner of the couple’s and ‘moved quickly’ to destroy his reputation.

With the recent revelation that Ice Cube-rapper,actor,and African-American icon is ‘working with’ Jared Kushner on a ‘Platinum Plan’ to supposedly enrich the Black community, many are calling into question the legitimacy of Ice Cube’s intentions. As a former rapper whose songs often decried White politics, now Ice Cube finds himself allying with- and legitimizing- the ‘rugged individualism’ narrative parroted by the wealthy white elite.
