We are lucky to be rich in alumni with generous hearts and full of wisdom.
Mission StatementTo promote fellowship and pride among Woodbridge High School (WHS) students and alumni and to create content that educates, informs and inspires.
OverviewThe Woodbridge High School Alumni Speaker series will accomplish these goals through a guest speaker program focused on continued learning, advance knowledge, and informational awareness by guests sharing stories of their personal journeys to success, what challenges were encountered, how those were met and overcome and, importantly, how those, along with failure, can be the stepping stones to achievement.
DescriptionMonthly presentations and round-table discussion by WSD alumni from different walks of life who have proven successes in business, academics, government, non-profits, etc. that reflect the diversity of our student body. By working with the WHS Administration, we would schedule these to correspond with lunch and/or study hours, would be held in the WHS Library and attendance would be voluntary. We fully expect that attendance at the first one or two presentations could be scarce but, as word-of-mouth and interest grows, we fully expect going attendance would be significant.
