Lord of the Sabbath

Great Faith Part 1

This first part of a two-part message lays the groundwork for understanding faith. The Roman centurion did not have to have Jesus, to his house to experience the healing of his servant. He simply trusted Jesus at His word.

God speaks the words and eventitles of the Bible books on purpose. the book of Exodus talks about how God freed the Israelites from Egypt. but we will be looking at one instance of when God caveman not to the Israelites to eat when they had nothing to eat. God pulls you out of your situation when He knows you will praise Him alone. God is teaching us how to follow His lead and become obedient, freefrom seeing, and learning to that Him leadin our lives. we have to give up control. Pastor Madie Wubker preaches about control from Exodus 15:15-21.

Faith for the Long Haul
We need to have faith like Abraham, who waited a long time for God to fulfill His promise through Isaac. We need to have faith that lasts throughout time and continues to fuel our hope in God's promises. Pastor Marvin preaches from Hebrews 11:8-12 and 18-19.

Faith Is Courage
Pastor Marvin preaches about faith as courage from Joshua 1:9 (NLT). It takes faith in God to be strong and courageous, to not be afraid in our situation. We need courage like never before. Courage is not the absence of fear, but facing fear with bravery. We need faith in these challenging times, and faith gives us courage to trust God in whatever we face.

Faith for the Family
It takes faith to raise a family that trusts in God. Unsaved family members need to know the Lord. To develop and grow a family that loves Jesus, and to see family members come to know Jesus requires prayers of faith. Faithin the Goodness of God
We often say that God is good all the time, but do you really believe that? Have you experienced God's goodness? When you are in the middle of suffering and trials, you need to have faith that God is good all the time. Abraham went toward Canaan without knowing where he was going until God told him where to settle. Do you have that kind of faith? Do you live to please the Lord?
