Forward Motion With Chad

Forward Motion With Chad

This week Cal and Leanne sit down with Chad Wright, the Founder of Forward Partners, to discuss burnout, loneliness, and the importance of rest in healthy leaders.  After decades of working with fellow business owners, Chad Wright was tired of seeing leader after leader burn out. Having experienced it himself multiple times, he began to question why this was so common—surely, there had to be a way to lead that didn’t require sacrificing our well being. These questions led him on a journey to create Forward Partners, a leadership development, and coaching company. The insight gained over 25 hard-fought years in business now enables him to impact the lives of leaders across the spectrum, from CEOs to pastors to police officers. Over the next 40 years, Chad and his team will transform the future of leadership by impacting millions of leaders worldwide. Like, Subscribe, and Share so we can keep these conversations going.  👍❤️

Authentic Self with Juliane Nowe

Authentic Self with Juliane Nowe

This week, we sat Down with Juliane Nowe (@julianenowe_) of the Lady Nowe Show to talk healing, cannabis, reiki, yoga, and more.  When Juliane was a child, she lost the ability to speak. As she struggled to regain the sound of her voice she also grappled with along lists of other symptoms. Years of doctor's appointments and western medicine could never provide answers or resolutions. Often overwhelmed with thoughts of helplessness, Juliane spent years desperate for healing, eager to live a life that felt fulfilling and to live the width of her days, rather than just the length of the time that I had. In the search to reclaim her health, she discovered treatments including Reiki, yoga, and Chinese Medicine. By shifting her focus, leaning into these modalities of natural healing, and quieting the noise of being unwell she found herself feeling more healthy. The strength that she gained helped her to listen to a deeper truth inside herself that she could trust that her body knew how to be well. Through her journey, she regained the literal sound of her own voice again. And now, she dedicates her life to sharing her voice, and her truth, with men, women and their families, to help them to listen to their own knowing voices. To view Juliane's courses, content, and offerings on how to guide you back to YOUR inner voice follow @julianenowe_ or www.julianenowe.com ✍🏻 A message from Juliane ⬇️ In sharing the voice that I almost lost I know that I am able to inspire others who feel certain there must be another way. I can support those who feel helpless and are lacking hope by reaching out to help them quiet themselves, aligning with them, providing a Kula for them, so that they can hear the voice of knowing that is always singing inside, with a single, simple promise: “You are safe.”

The Truth Spreads Like a Virus

The Truth Spreads Like a Virus

It's an HTC first this week, y'all. Join Cal and Leanne as they host friends, Jocelyn and Bri, for a candid conversation on all things "difficult to discuss." With the current state of the nation, frustrations high, and overall anxiety, we thought it was time to sit down and talk about it. The ladies dig deep into the #SayHerName movement, Black Femmes, Racial Identity, and the frustration and responsibility of "Having to Teach." A little more about our Guests: Jocelyn is a full-spectrum life doula (@thecannadoula) and supports those in the cannabis community in birth, life, and death. As she once told us, "I smoke a lot of weed and help a lot of people." - Visit Cannadoula.life for more information - and while your there, pick up a copy of her E-book, "Doula Your Way." Bri, also known as  "Goldand" on the Twitch platform or @gold_and_gore on Instagram, Uses her platforms to share her story and struggles to get others to open up about their own. Bri noticed that being transparent about her difficulties is not only beneficial to her mental health and healing but to those she meets as well.

My guest this week is the perfect guest to end Season One of #HTCpodcast. She culminates my two loves and the very foundation on which this podcast was created: Women & Cannabis.  Through women and cannabis, my heart grew and broke and grew back again, doubling in size.  Women like my guest, Megan, encouraged me and pushed me to bring my personal best. Women like her who break stigmas and kick down barriers in new fields. Women who bring healing and relatability to a new industry. Woman who bring wisdom and knowledge and can command a room. I love Megan, can you tell? Hear us chat, #Mom2Mom about her role at @LeaflineLabs, the cannabis industry and our love for Mary Jane. She’s the real deal and so are the brands she aligns with.

"Knowledge is Power"

I knew Kristina was going to be an incredible guest the second we started. She knows what it’s like to try to put yourself out there as a cannabis-consuming mother. Enough so that she created the “Ganja Mama Club”, to help end the stigma and her own disappointment in her “mom friends”. We talk the female empowerment in the Cannabis community right now, her love (and knowledge) of growing, her experience owning a hydroponics shop for six years, seeing her Dad suffer through a horrible illness, the decisions to take her own health into her hands and her goals for the future. We even manifested a Ganja Mama Club event that I am hoping comes to fruition! And how could I forget… enjoy a great surprise scare from her husband who forgot she was recording a Podcast when he got home.😂   Follow Kristina on instagram: @ganjamamaclub For more content follow @havetheconvvo
