Episode 12: Occupational Therapy with Brynne Terry
Join us in this episode as we have a conversation with Occupational Therapist (and Taylor's BFF) Brynne Terry to learn about the field, if you could benefit from an OT and dreaming about the future.
Brynne's Bio from her website (linked below)
"I am a certified and licensed occupational therapist (OTR/L) and a certified ergonomics assessment specialist (CEAS). I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Human Performance and my Master of Arts of Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California (fight on!), and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Boston University. My passion is promoting holistic health + wellness by empowering individuals to create their own lifestyle balance while engaging in the occupations (think: roles, hobbies, rituals, daily tasks) that are meaningful to them. Some of my most meaningful occupations that help me cultivate my lifestyle of wellbeing are cooking, spending time outdoors, traveling, cheering on my favorite Bay Area sports teams, watercolor painting, shifting towards non-toxic + clean living, writing on wellness topics, reading, and playing with my two dogs. Episode 3: Goal Setting and Motivation with Clayton Foster
Clayton was born and raised in a small, rural Indiana town. He studied at Indiana University for 2 years before enlisting in the United States Air Force. After separating, he started studying at Colorado State University, and has one semester remaining in his Bachelor’s degree. He has been coaching people in an official capacity for around five years now, and has been in love with fitness from the time he was 16 years old (his 16th birthday present from his parents was a gym membership). He loves all facets of fitness, but he is a little biased towards lifting heavy things, and the types of workouts that take you deep in the pain cave and show you what you’re actually made of. Listen as we talk about meat cereal, warming up, and priorities for how to stay motivated and set goals.
