The Quran has many problematic teachings. This episode examines a number of illogical doctrines of the Quran. These are not contradictions (though some are) but rather things that make it intellectually irrational to be a Muslim. For example, Allah is called "the best deceiver." Despite the many claims that Allah has revealed truth in the Quran, it still say Allah is the "best deceiver." That alone makes it illogical to follow the Quran as it is the revelation of a deceiver. It is even more illogical to think that there are such things as Muslim apologists.

The Quran is filled with scientific and historical errors. If you would like to laugh at the foolish thing Muhammad believed, this episode is for you. These errors prove that the Quran cannot be a revelation from a god. A true God would know and be capable to accurately reveal truth about His own creation and the history of His world. Therefore, Allah cannot be the true god, and the Quran must be the words of an ignorant man who accepted the errors which were commonly believed in his day and age.

The main reason I don’t believe in Islam is because I have read the Quran. This episode shares some of the very odd theological concepts that the Quran teaches as Islamic doctrine. These are the things that make it dumbfounding that billions of people around the world have chosen to follow the religion taught from the Quran.

The Quran is filled with ancient pagan myths. So much so, that when Muhammad attempted to proselytize, he was repeatedly argued with by the pagans that he was repeating their own ancient legends. Oddly, Islam is frequently called one of the three great monotheistic religions. This episodes addresses, among other things, Allah commanding the angels to worship Adam, and the three daughters of Allah mentioned by Muhammad when he was inspired by Satan.

The Quran says, Allah gave the land of Israel to the Jews. Many people (including Muslims) have never read the Quran and have no clue what it actually says. There are a lot of opinions about the current war between Israel and Hamas. But most opinions are structured on ignorance. Every person has the right to have an opinion, but they owe it to themselves to develop their opinion on facts. This episode gives facts of what the Quran say on about the land of Israel and the Quran's command to lie in oaths so a ceasefire cannot be an option for Israel. A number of other topics are discussed, including the doctrine of abrogation and the Jews being given the prophet-hood which exclude Muhammad as a prophet.

Many commentaries address the question of what Paul's thorn in the flesh was, but they usually have a very superficial opinion that never even considers the immediate context of the phrase. The truth of what this "thorn" was will most likely be surprising to many people. (Hint: It is not Paul supposedly having poor eye sight as is frequently taught.)

This episode interacts with theologian Wayne Grudem, and his text, Systematic Theology, published by Zondervan. Being a theologian, we would expect Grudem to be more honest when handling the biblical text about creation compared to someone with a degree in science like Hugh Ross. This is evidently a false assumption as we discuss Grudem's multiple attempts to twist Scripture to make it say something that God obviously did not intend in the creation account. The fact that we are living in the age of apostasy is evident when realizing that it is theologians who are rejecting what is clearly revealed by God in order to compromise what skeptic anti-theists claim as an origins account.

Interacting with Hugh Ross' book "The Genesis Question" (1998), we sample his opinions of origins, what he calls progressive creation. What is discovered about Hugh Ross' view is that he twists Scripture to attempt to make it fit with his big bang cosmology. His origins view up hold a theistic evolutionary position, though he denies such a term to be attributed to his position. Ultimately, he has resurrected the opinion of George Curvier from 1812, which claims multiple catastrophic events caused mass extinctions after which God recreated new species to replace the extinct ones. Furthermore, Dr. Ross constructs straw-man arguments against creationists because he has an erroneous perspective of the fixity of species. Dr. Hugh Ross is just another example why Christians need discernment, especially when reading apologists that compromise the Bible with secular opinions.

Many have claimed that the rapture began in the early 1800s by Darby or the Irvingites. Such claims are false arguments against the rapture from individuals revising history to support their own false doctrines. This episode examines what the earliest of the church fathers had to teach about the doctrine, exposing the lie of false teachers. This is a brief historical study of Christian authors who distinguished between the rapture of the saints and the Second Coming of Christ to set up the millennial kingdom.

This episode explores the question "what is God’s purpose for the rapture?” We come to a very different conclusion than what the popular opinion about the rapture is. Contrary to common teachings, the rapture is not intended to remove Christians from the Earth to escape the seven years of Tribulation. Rather, God's purpose for the rapture is a matter of judgement upon the believers of the current dispensation for having failed their responsibility as stewards.

There are no shortage of opinions about the rapture and when it will happen. This episode is not a full study of the topic of the rapture, but is limited to what can be inferred about the rapture from the book of Revelation. Some have claimed that the silence of the churches in the book of Revelation indicates the church age saints were raptured out before the tribulation. However, as is discussed in this podcast, there is no silence and the evidence is loud and clear.

Revelation 22:18-19 give the most severe warning against altering the words of Scripture. I have been frequently asked how this text should be understood. Does it condemn to hell everyone who tampers with the Bible. How should we interpret this passage in light of contemporary Christianity wherein multitude of Bible version exist. These various versions are not the same so they cannot all be accurate. Are the textual critics involved in producing these many modern Bible versions condemned to hell according to Revelation 22? In this episode we examine a number of ancient inscriptions and texts that provide conceptual parallels to shed light on how we should interpret this warning of adding or omitting from the word of God.

After having discussed theistic evolutionist such as Francis Collins and Tremper Longman, we spent four episodes tracing the evolutionary philosophy through its ancient pagan origins. This episode is dedicated to treating theistic evolution from a biblical perspective. The major issues presented are: 1) the dependence on the Socinain Accommodation heresy of hermeneutics which predates Socinus as it was the hermeneutic method of the Gnostics; 2) the Hebrew grammar of the creation account demands that it is interpreted as a historical narrative; 3) Christ and the New Testament authors as well as ancient Jews and Christians believed in the literal creation account; 4) every attempt to produce a synthesis of the Genesis account with the Big Bang/Evolution shows an ignorance of the chronology of both; and 5) the corruption of the Gospel by placing death before Adam.

This is the conclusion of the topic of the series on the ancient pagan roots of the evolutionary philosophy. This episode discusses the recent history of men involved with bringing the idea in acceptance as a secular view in the modern world. These men, such as Erasmus Darwin, Joseph Priestly, Benjamin Franklin, James Hutton, among many others, were involved with secret societies such as the Lunar Society and the Freemasons. Their intention was to rid the culture of being under the authority of God, the church, and the king, by propagating the pagan myth of evolution and stirring up the French revolution. We also reveal the involvement in the revival of ancient evolutionary views from occultists and spiritualist such as Emanuel Swedenborg, Alfred Wallace, and Madame Helena Blavatsky. All this history should serve as a reminder that the end time apostasy of a Neo-Gnostic heresy is on the rise, and promoted by many "christian" scholars, theologians, and apologists, that synchronize the pagan myth of evolution with the Bible.

With this episode continuing the topic of the ancient pagan philosophers who passed down the idea of evolution which was popularized to the secular world by Charles Darwin, we cover Plato, and Aristotle, on to Plotinus, who formed Neo-platonism, and the Gnostics. It is further identified that Christians historically rejected these evolutionary ideas. They refused to synchronize this pagan concept with the Bible. It should be an obvious mark of apostasy in Christianity today when people, and specifically “scholars” identify themselves as Christian and accept evolution as a valid origin.

This episode continues the topic of analyzing the ancient pagan authors who propagated the idea of evolution and was eventually adapted by Charles Darwin. We cover the discussion of Anaximander (610-546 B.C.), Xenophanes (570-475 B.C.), Anaxagoras (510-428 B.C.), and Empedocles (495-435 B.C.). While passing through these Greek authors we also touch on contemporary issues being yoked to the evolutionary philosophy, such as "Direct Panspermia," and the "Gaia Hypothesis."

It is rarely discussed but well known by scholars that the modern idea of evolution was not started by Charles Darwin. Darwin developed it from previous authors which can be traced back to ancient philosophers of Greece. These "natural philosophers" apparently adapted the idea from Egyptian myths, which became repackaged in modern "scientific" terminology in the 1700-1800s. Beginning in this episode we are taking a thorough examination of the influence of these ancient pagans on our modern culture and following the trail from the ancient world to the contemporary contributors of this continuing myth of evolution.

Recently cancel culture has attacked country singer Jason Aldean’s song, “Try that in a small town.” The accusation of racism against this song is hypocritical as rap music has had racist remarks in multitudes of songs which are obviously ignored for the Critical Race Theory advocates to claim only white people can be racist. In this episode we quote numerous rap songs and discuss Louis Farrakhan's racist cult, Nation of Islam, which has a significant influence on rappers and their racist comments which have been recorded in their songs.

Does it matter how we interpret Genesis 1-3? Does our opinion of the creation account influence our theology. By assessing the Old Testament theologian, Tremper Longman's, we discover that reading evolution into the Bible's creation account does cause one to interpret their theology in light of evolution. A biblical theology cannot exist consistently with an unbiblical idea such as evolution. Discover how dangerous adapting compromised views of origins can cause a denial of orthodox doctrines.

Francis Collins was a physician-geneticist  before becoming the director of the Human Genome Project and founder of the theistic evolution apologetic ministry BioLogos. He has also served as the director of National Institute of Health under three different American Presidents and is currently serving as Acting Science Advisor to President Joe Biden. His BioLogos ministry is extremely influential, especially to apologist that focus on the First Cause/Big Band argument. However, Collins and BioLogos' representation of theistic evolution rejects God actively directing the evolutionary process and reveals a very deistic sounding opinion of origins. The view of science presented through BioLogos should be held with extreme caution and suspicion as revealed and discussed in this episode.

This episode interacts with Andrew Woods book The Coming Kingdom, which frequently proclaims that there was a bona fide offer of the kingdom to the Jewish nation during the first century. This idea is not unique to Andrew Woods, but is commonly taught by many Dispensational theologians. This doctrine is discussed and assessed by Scripture to determine whether it is theologically sound.

Continuing the concept from the previous episode on "Sonship," this episode take the idea from the reverse. Many passages mention the devil as a father, and children of the devil, children of the wicked one, or sons of Belial. But what would this mean in connection with the many passages that refer to the term "sons of God" in various contexts? This discussion develops a fascinating doctrinal concept that demand our actions as sons of God. Listen and learn about "Sonship Theology."

Throughout the Bible "Sonship" terminology is used. God is frequently called the Father. He is the Father of the nation of Israel in the Old Testament, making them His sons. He is the Father of Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God. He is the Father of those who are born again, those who become the sons of God through faith in Jesus Christ. But what does it mean to be called the sons of God. What is the conceptual link from the Old Testament calling Israel God's son, and the New Testament calling Christians sons of God. Or how does this relate to angels being called sons of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ as the second person of the Trinity being called the Son? This is a fascinating topic which will help us understand our purpose as Christians and why God made us new creations when we were born again.

Hannah Whitall Smith was the major influencer of the Keswick movement and best selling author of a book considered a classic by many, "The Christian's Secret to a Happy Life." However, her own words recorded in her autobiography admit her heretical theology, which were subsequently edited out of later editions to make it more palatable to Christian readers. This episode interact with her autobiography in its original unedited edition from 1903 as the primary source to identify what she taught and believed, and discusses how this heretical influence is effect Christianity today.

This episode discusses Michael Heiser's major error of interpreting Psalm 82 as referring to actual "gods" of a supposed "divine council." An accurate exegesis of Psalm 82 is provided to reveal with the Hebrew grammar and literary structure to identify the "gods" are properly understood as men. Furthermore, one of the most extreme views of Heiser and the deception he utilizes when propagating his false doctrines is exposed. He teaches that just as these rebellious "gods" of Psalm 82 are judged to die causing the "divine council" to be replaced by men who become deified, these deified men can also choose to rebel at any time in eternity and be destroyed. His idea of salvation is one of the most extremest forms of Arminianism being sold to evangelicals today.

This episode is begins to bring the focus to Michael Heiser's paradigm passages, those which he claims are the main passages that provide biblical support for his theology. Discussing Deuteronomy 32:8-9, it is revealed that his evidence for his Deuteronomy 32 worldview is faulty because it depends upon a textual critical premise which actually refute his teachings. Furthermore, the context of Deuteronomy 32 reveals the whole basis for his theological system is self-refuting. We also examine Deuteronomy 4:19-20, and again, find in the context his Divine Council doctrine is self-deconstructed.

Because Michael Heiser has the tendency to interpret the Bible through ancient Pagan literature which cause him to express a polytheistic view the Scripture, we are forced to question how he understands the doctrine of the Trinity. Though he claims to believe in the Trinity and the divinity of Christ, adapting the use of orthodox Christian terminology does not prove his understanding and teaching on these doctrines are orthodox. In fact, we find his view of the Trinity heretical, in line with the Modalism heresy.

Continuing the discussion of Michael Heiser, it is noted that many people express intimidation of his academic credentials and this episode answers why Christians should not be impressed by such credentials. We further cover his claims about the clear monotheistic expressions in the Bible are not denying the existence of other gods but only indicate they are incomparable to the Lord. It is revealed how the large block of context refute his interpretation which exposes Heiser's incapability to properly interpret Scripture.

In this episode we focus on one of the most disturbing doctrines of Dr. Michael Heiser ... Deification! Yes, he taught that men become gods. Oddly, this fact of his theology has been almost completely ignored by others who have criticized his work, but this heresy of his is repeated in practically ever book he has published. Furthermore, the ramification of his heresy within his entire theological system produces extensive problems. Examples which are discussed are his redefining the Hebrew word elohim (God/gods) as "disembodied." So by teaching that men become gods, he is claiming men become disembodied, which is a denial of the Biblical doctrine of a physical bodily resurrection. It also portrays his confused heretical view of Christology. Christ took on a flesh body at the incarnation. Either Heiser has to deny Christ was God while walking on the earth (i.e. the heretical kenotic theory) or he has to deny that Christ took on a physical form (a Gnostic doctrine called docetism). It becomes abundantly clear that Heiser is a Neo-Gnostic.

A further elaboration on the discussion of Michael Heiser teaching polytheism is identified by his categorization of "gods," "angels," and "demons." Heiser adamantly distinguishes between his "gods" and "angels" and claims that "demons" are disembodied spirits of the nephilim. All this is refuted from the Scripture and the very text of Second Temple Jewish literature which Heiser states presents the best evidence for his worldview.

Discussing the recent school shooting in Nashville Tennessee, as well as other mass murder event involving transgender attackers, the question of the mental health of such confused people is presented, as well as recent research indicating a large number of the trans-community diagnosed as autistic. Furthermore, we explore the implication of Bible prophesy revealing the end time apostasy as Neo-Gnosticism connecting with the LGBT movement and the antichrist. Very little has been said on this topic and it is important to understand current events in light of Scriptural truths.

In this episode we examine Dr. Heiser's doctrine of the Divine Council and identify it as polytheism. He has denied this charge of polytheism by claiming he taught a divine plurality which is nothing but a plurality of divine beings, hence polytheism. We document a number of quotes from his writings to prove he rejected monotheism and was a polytheist. Furthermore, we acknowledge his similarity to Mormon theology of the council of gods which Joseph Smith adapted from Kabbala.

Michael Heiser is a best selling author and popular podcaster. He has propagated to evangelicals a theology he calls the "Deuteronomy 32 worldview." This episode is an introduction to discussing what his theological view is, how it is dependent upon synchronizing ancient pagan myths to the Bible, how he twists Scripture, and misrepresents the ancient literature he claims as evidence for his view.

In part 4 of this series we discuss the extent of mysticism infiltrating Christianity, and the fact that the New Age prophetess Alice Bailey stated that the goal was to replace christian theology based on studying the Scripture with a new theology based on personal experience. We examine a number of modern "christian" authors that prove that this mentality is running the majority of churches today. We further discuss the influence of A. W. Tozer, who propagated the idea that mystical experiences produce a superior Christianity. His writings have remained popular among fundamentalism which would normal be immune to such mystic authors. This fact reveals how wide spread mysticism is within modern Christianity!

We elaborate on the Emergent church authors who specifically cite the New Age author Ken Wilber as the figure who they get their theology from.
