Today's Sex Magick exercise is Merging into Oneness. The intention of this practice is to experience union, dissolve the ego, and realize our divinity, while making love.

Today's Sex Magick exercise is the Yoni Mudra. Yoni means “womb space” and mudra means “seal”; thus this is the yogic practice of returning to the state of mind experienced in the womb. Yoni mudra is often used to awaken the kundalini, bringing about higher states of consciousness.

When we come to terms with our death before we die, we can become more fully alive. This age-old shamanic practice produces a deep meditative state to cultivate witness consciousness and detach from the ego, body, and other illusions. Within Sex Magick this meditation helps you become more "present" and in the moment in sex and lovemaking.

This Sex Magick exercise is known to rejuvenate the body at the cellular level. Even the scientific community recommends sound healing for the treatment of various conditions and diseases. It has been proved to promote relaxation and pain relief and to release emotional blockages. More specifically, sound can activate the function and flow of both the physical and energetic sex center.

This exercise in our Sex Magick podcast series is a bit like a Kundalini working. This simple but powerful practice offers deep somatic benefits such as discharging stagnant energy, stimulating lymphatic circulation, reducing stress, releasing trauma, and increasing an overall sense of well-being. If you have PTSD or tend to dissociate, be extra mindful that this practice is done with a felt sense of the body and present awareness.

Although this is specifically not a sexual practice or a place to pick up potential partners, it is very effective for opening erotic channels throughout your body that lead to greater embodied awareness. Ultimately, ecstatic dance will put you in touch with your humanity by getting you out of your head and into your heart. Keep moving. Push through your limitations and be curious about what is on the other side. Allow the energy to move through you.

This next exercise in our Sex Magick series are simple but powerful techniques that can help you increase sexual mindfulness and decrease sexual anxiety. You’ll learn to shift from having a goal orientation in lovemaking to being in the moment. During all stages of sensate focusing, the focus is on sensations, and the exercise may be stopped or slowed down if either partner becomes anxious or orgasm focused.

Divination is the art of seeking hidden knowledge by the aid of supernatural powers. Sacred objects are used to gain answers to questions or to foretell the future. In this exercise, your eros is used as a divination tool in place of a crystal ball, dowsing rod, or tea leaves. You can practice with a partner or partners, as long as everyone is in the purest state of surrender and service before engaging in this work.

This practice promotes self-love and induces an extraordinary state of being so that you can enjoy longer-lasting lovemaking. This is not a genital-focused exercise but instead a whole-being experience. Self-pleasuring is different for everyone; there are as many variations on this practice as there are people.

To gain a broader perspective, guidance, protection, and/or inspiration. This practice can radically accelerate your spiritual growth. The more you practice this, the more aware you become of the symbolic language of your spirit guides.

Beyond preconceived notions about sex and lovemaking, Latihan allows you to open to all of existence and feel the life-force energy flowing through your body. The more you practice this, the more you will be able to make love to the mystery.

Cultures all over the world have explored ways to use the power of Pain as a spiritual tool. Pain is an extremely intense pattern of energy, and it can be used either by the recipient or by the inflictor. In today's episode we talk about ways to use pain as a magickal ritual technique as well as the use of pain for pleasure within BDSM.
