Ron Hates CarPlay
We're back after a short break... and Ron has been working on his cars! We also talk about Pikes Peak and I've got a new show to tell you all about as well.
Actual Auto News?
Hey, we talk about actual automotive news in this one! On the list of things we cover, we've got the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor, Hyundai N Vision 74 Concept, Toyota Tacoma about to be revealed, Lamborghini Sterrato, and an R34 Nissan Skyline that sold for crazy money.
Silver Arrow FIRE SALE!
Ron and I wander through a few fresh auction results from Bring-A-Trailer. We discuss Ron's potential switch-up of his automotive objects of desire. I tease a new project. Then we dive into your questions. Links from the show: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-ford-mustang-fastback-140/
The Jag is Gone
We get right into it... I sold the Jag. My 1986 Jaguar XJ6 with the Chevy V8 swap was offered for sale on Cars and Bids, and the auction result was awesome. The car has now traded hands and my garage is empty for the time being. It's time to focus on the Montero and maybe finally get the Mercedes wagon up and running.
After we talk about the Jag, we move into the Instagram questions.
Patrick Costello talks Rennervations
Our guest today is Patrick Costello. He's a television producer that's handled a lot of automotive content, including Top Gear USA. His most recent project, however, is the new show Rennervations. This is a build show on Disney+ with big ambitions and it's hosted by Jeremy Renner.

Ron and I are back after each getting a bit under the weather the last few weeks. In this episode, we talk about Hellcat theft, Z06 prices not hitting reserves, and Porsche action in California. After that, I talk about the Montero and the Jag before we answer your questions.
Project Car Hell
Project cars are never done and they're rarely easy, right? This week Jeff talks about the issues he's sorting out on the Jag before it heads over to the smog shop. And out of nowhere, the Montero alternator died in the middle of a drive. Ron is also having issues sorting out minor issues on a project Porsche he helped manage for a friend.
After that we talk briefly about the Tesla news related to the recall, then dive into your questions.
Clash comes back to LA
Ron tells us all about the 2nd NASCAR Clash at the Coliseum. We take a look at some recent new car news. I talk about my time with the Kia EV6 GT and the Volvo V60 Polestar. And then we answer some of your questions
Car Flipping Failure
I... forgot to post this one. Oops! In it, Ron and I discuss some recent car flipping failures that could be a sign that the market is normalizing. Who knows for sure though... (Not us, that's for damn sure!)
We're back after a holiday break, and we have to talk a little bit about the tragic loss that happened while we were away. RIP KB43.
After that, we chat a bit about what we did over the break and then dive into some great questions from all of you.

We Dislodge the Flap
Ron and Jeff kick things off by talking about.. Lasik eye surgery? Yes, but then move on to the GR Corolla, their own cars, and then your questions.
Ron just got back from SEMA so we have to hear about what was cool... and not so cool, from the Las Vegas show.
In the S I M U L A T I O N
Ron and Jeff talk about the Electrikhana, the 24 Hours of Lemons, and then answer viewer/listener questions
Silver Arrow Day Dreams
Ron and I talk about:
- The Hoonigan Indy Car truck
- 24 Hours of Lemons at Buttonwillow
- Camping in the Montero
- Then we get to the questions
Follow the two gents we mentioned in this episode:
Solo Question Time
It was a quick trip to Nashville, which didn't actually allow for any recording, so the Solo Question Time episode happens from home. In this one, I answer the twitter and Instagram questions before letting you know about our latest t-shirt from Blipshift!
Pantera Takes That Butt!
We had a technical hiccup in this episode, but we got it sorted. We started recording one night and had to finish the next, but we got through it and discovered that the Pantera takes what it wants...

Electric Roadtrippin' (Solo Episode)
I jump in with a solo episode to do a quick recap on Autopia2099 plus my drive up there and back in a Porsche Taycan GTS. After that I take a bunch of questions.
The Last Type R looks like a Robot Wang
In this episode, we go with the flow... and wind up meandering through diatribes about the R8, our own cars, and eventually the Honda Civic Type R.
Heated Seat Subscription Plan
Did you hear automakers are considering charging monthly fees for certain features? BMW is in the news for testing this out in a handful of markets. We think it's insane.
No Booze Though?
Let's walk through some auction insanity... we're looking at a 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser, a 1967 Porsche 911S Targa, a trio of BMW project cars, an LS3 Business Coupe, a 572-powered Corvette wagon, a 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S, a 1965 Chevy Impala, and a 1984 Camaro Z28. Then we move on to your questions.

The One Where I Show My Credit Car On Screen
Ron and Jeff are back in action and we're rolling right into some auction results from Bring-A-Trailer. We've got three gross results, and three great results. On the gross side, we have a 1968 Camaro, 1990 Honda CRX, and a 1969 Chevy K5 Blazer. The good results feature a 1999 Chevy Suburban, a 1964 Dodge Polara, and a 1989 Ford Mustang.
After digging through those, we answer your questions, talk about some recent press car action, and get an update on the Speakeasy.
Before heading out on vacation, I wanted to get an episode out - this one is a solo shortie episode, but Jeff answers a bunch of questions while also rambling about a vehicle he can't fully talk about yet; the Cadillac Escalade-V.
Will I AM NOT
Ron and Jeff talk about the new Delorean Alpha5, a week spent with a Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid, and why the vintage Mustang market sucks. Then we get to your questions.
Not TUV Approved
This podcast is not TUV approved... but we're still here to talk about a few things today. We want to know when a project car is ever really done? There are some details on Autopia2099 Summer 2022 and then we talk a bit about Hoonigan's This vs That YouTube series. Finally, we then dive into some of your questions.
Time to Sell Things?
Ron and Jeff are both considering selling one of their vehicles. This is to fund more nonsense. Which ones do they want to sell and what is the plan if they do sell? We dive into that and also talk about the new Escalade-V, the Hoonipigasus, and answer a bunch of questions.
Swatch Your Mouth! with guest Nick Ferrell of DC Vintage Watches
Our friend Nick Ferrell from DC Vintage Watches is back on the podcast once again. We talk a bit about his old Trooper, modifying car clocks, and then we dive heavy into watch stuff. And we try to understand the vitriol that hard-core watch folks levied at the Omega x Swatch collaboration.
Ron named the Honda Element
Did you know that Ron named the Honda Element? I didn't until this episode! We also talk about some Bring-A-Trailer sales, the Land Rover Defender 90 V8, Hyundai Kona N, our project cars, and then answer your questions!
Trying New Tech
Ron and I are back for episode 327, in which we are trying out some new podcast-capture tech. I check in with Ron on the status of his Sh*tbox Speakeasy and his project cars before we get to a handful of your questions!

Zack Klapman is our guest on this episode of the Hooniverse Podcast. We talk about his career moves, how he got to where he is now, and then we answer a bunch of viewer/listener questions.
Ron and I are back for the full episode this week and we kick it off by talking about the new GR Corolla. I'm all for it but Ron needs some convincing. After that there's a little chatter on the opening round of Formula Drift, Ron's project car updates, and then we take your questions!
Yep, we slacked last week... so to make up for it, we're going to have TWO episodes this week. And I'm recording a third episode for next week when I'm on vacation. Today it's just me (Jeff) and I've got some project car updates and then a story about how I'm dumb about knowing how to schedule stuff properly.
St. Paddy's Podcast Party
Ron and Jeff celebrate St. Patrick's day with a few stories before diving into the car talk. Jeff has just driven the Porsche 911 GTS Targa, an electric Cobra, and will soon drive the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE. Then the two hosts discuss the current states of their project cars. There are more upgrades in store for the Montero, and Ron's Tahoe has a dashcam now. Finally, Ron and Jeff take a moment to single out some folks who are doing great stuff in the industry.
Car Person Ascension
Jeff was off wrenching on things for eight days while Ron was getting up close and personal with a monster truck. Also, Ron has ascended as a car person... he's getting a garage space with some friends.
There's some talk about our own cars, the new Acura Integra, and then we answer your questions.
Ramble On! (Again!)
This episode broke, but I fixed it - and in the beginning, we ramble on about non-car stuff before diving into actual car talk. We also take a bunch of questions.
We missed a week due to some technical issues, so this episode is a sort of re-do. In it, hosts Jeff and Ron muse about their day-to-day goings-on before Ron reveals that one of his project vehicles was recently broken into. It's a C10 pickup and it's an odd target considering it's in a locked yard with no headlights.
People suck... but thankfully, this podcast soldiers on at least, right?
Dishing on Dashcams with Nextbase
Jeff Chu from Nextbase is on the podcast to talk all things Dashcam. We cover what's in store for the future of this segment, why you should pick one dashcam over another, and find out the craziest dashcam video that Jeff has seen.

Ron and Jeff discuss the recent insanity in auction prices at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale and Mecum's Kissimmee auction. The duo talks about the Daytona 24 Hour Race, answer some questions from Instagram, then give updates on their various project vehicles. The most important one? The Montero is back in action!
From television to old trucks with guest Lyn Woodward
Lyn Woodward is a great person to chat with about how they made their way into the industry. It's a path unlike a lot of other folks, and it's landed here in a place with a great audience, some cool project cars, and a lot of stories to tell. This includes her off-road adventures with the Rebelle Rally, her two-door first-gen Mitsubishi Montero, and so much more.
Jarod DeAnda on YOLLO and the Ranch Water Hour Spectacular
Jarod DeAnda is the voice of Formula Drift. He's also touching a whole lot of the automotive enthusiast realm right now, and on top of that, he's a hell of a great guy and a good storyteller.
Watches and Wheels with Nick Ferrell of DC Vintage Watches
An intersection of the watch and car world? That NEVER happens! It's happening here on the podcast with guest Nick Ferrell. He's the owner of DC Vintage Watches, which sells and sources all sorts of great vintage timepieces. Most of them are priced exceptionally reasonably as well since he specializes in old Seiko timepieces.
We also talk about Nick's long-time-owned Isuzu Trooper, and a bit about how the watch and car world often intertwine. Check out Nick's store at https://www.dcvintagewatches.com/
