With the first games of the Horizon League schedule in the books, Bob and Matt break down how each team fared, as well as discuss Oakland's huge upset at Xavier to start the week.

We Were ALL Rooting for You!
Bob and Matt discuss the week that was, which was filled with holiday MTE games and a few near-disasters. And with the conference game coming this week, they talk about which teams they're buying and which ones they're selling.

Tempered Expectations
Matt and John (minus Bob) discuss the crush of games during the week, including some close games with power conference teams and the start of MTE contests.

First Week Blues
The first week of the season is in the books, and Bob, Matt and John talk about the highlights, including IUPUI, Purdue Fort Wayne and Cleveland State, and the lowlights, including a host of games on Friday that are better well forgotten.

Another Season Is Upon Us!
Bob and Matt touch on the final warm-up games (including two games against Wayne State with significantly different results), and they delve into the first games of the regular season this week.

Matt (and later on, Bob) welcome new Green Bay head coach Sundance Wicks (@CoachSundance) to the podcast, talking about all things Phoenix, as well as some of Coach Wicks' history, his love of Star Wars, and of course, the origins of bringing the juice.

That's the End?
The season has come to an end, and Bob and Matt discuss the post-season outcomes from Northern Kentucky, Youngstown State, Cleveland State and Milwaukee, along with who was not in any post-season tournament (hint: Detroit Mercy). They kick the episode off, of course, with the recent hiring of Sundance Wicks to Green Bay, then close things out with their assessment of the transfer portal and how it's worked out for players coming in and out of the Horizon League over the years.

The Kings of the North(ern Kentucky)
The Horizon League Tournament is over, and Bob and Matt reflect on their time there, as well as briefly recap the games, in which Northern Kentucky emerged as the champion. They also talk about the Norse's first-round foe in the NCAA Tournament, Houston, as well as Youngstown State's home NIT contest against Oklahoma State and Cleveland State and Milwaukee reaching the CBI (while Detroit Mercy did not). Finally, with the transfer portal opening, they discuss the one big name that is stay: Wright State's Trey Calvin.

To Indy We Will Go!
Bob and Matt not only talk about the upcoming semifinal match-ups for the Horizon League tournament, they also chat with Cleveland State head coach Daniyal Robinson (at the 17:20 mark) and Milwaukee head coach Bart Lundy (at the 24:54 mark). They also talk about the roads that Youngstown State and Northern Kentucky took to get to Indianapolis, as well as Antoine Davis, who may yet still get the all-time NCAA scoring record if the CBI invites Detroit Mercy to Daytona.

In this bonus episode, Bob and John break down the HoriZone Roundtable's picks for Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Freshman of the Year, 6th Man of the Year and Defensive Player of the year, as well as the pick for all three All-Horizon League teams.

We Had That Going Differently In Our Heads
With the regular season over for the Horizon League, Bob and Matt talk about the champions, Youngstown State, along with all of the preseason predictions that the HoriZone Roundtable, along with everyone else, made that were completed wrong. They also talk about how the seedings shook out, as well as a small glimpse into the conference tournament itself.

March of the Penguins...to the Championship
Youngstown State is on the cusp of its first regular season conference crown ever, and Bob and Matt talk about the Penguins' dominances over both Milwaukee, who struggled the entire week, and Green Bay. They also talk about Cleveland State's sweep of Wright State and Northern Kentucky, Detroit Mercy making more noise to close out the season, and the general lack of consistency within a lot of the league's teams this season.

Throw the Records Out!
This past week's Horizon League action featured rivals that played each other hard regardless of record, and Bob and John, filling in for Matt, broke down all of them. They also got into what the various scenarios for the top four teams would be going into the last two weeks of the season, which the Thursday match-up between Youngstown State and Milwaukee being the most critical contest.

IUPUI Is For the Children
IUPUI has finally won a Horizon League game, and Bob and Matt discuss The Jaguars' progress leading up to the win, as well as the ongoing slide for the team they beat. Green Bay. They also discuss, among other topics, Youngstown State's dominance to stay atop the standings, Cleveland State's no-good, very bad week, and Purdue Fort Wayne, which followed up a win against Oakland with...getting blown out by Detroit Mercy.

We're Doing the Four-Way Tie at the Top Again
Once again, four teams are tied atop the Horizon League standings, and Bob and Matt talk about how we got here. They also talk about what seemed to be a constant conversation about officiating in the conference, as well as the apprehension of considering Antoine Davis for Player of the Year when Detroit Mercy currently sits in ninth.

Bonus: Ryan's Hope...Is Gone
Will Ryan is gone, and Bob and John get into the ins and out of what's next for Green Bay. Fair warning: Bob curses a lot in this episode.

Breaking Up Is Hard to Do
Northern Kentucky and Milwaukee each held serve this past week to remain in a first-place tie in the Horizon League, and Bob and Matt talk about those games, especially the game-winner by the Norse's Marques Warrick on his birthday. They also talk about the rest of the league, including Wright State's struggles, Antoine Davis becoming the second-leading scorer all-time, and Green Bay virtually disappearing in the second half of nearly every single game.

The Antoine Davis Conundrum
Antoine Davis is now the all-time leading three-point shooter in NCAA history, yet Detroit Mercy sits near the bottom of the Horizon League standings. Bob and Matt discuss that weird dynamic that seems to have plagued the Titans throughout Davis' time there. They also talk about the three-way tie at the top of the standings, which includes Youngstown State making a statement against the Michigan teams this past week, as well as how the rest of the conference shook out.

Bart Lundy Magic
John fills in for Matt, and he and Bob discuss the week's action, including Milwaukee's surge to a share of the top of the Horizon League standings, thanks to a sweep of Cleveland State and Purdue Fort Wayne. They also talk about Northern Kentucky, who also share a top standings spot, although under much shakier circumstances, and three teams within a game of the Panthers and Norse, namely the Vikings, Youngstown State and a resurgent Oakland.

New Year's Day 2023 Live Episode
Bob and Matt, along with John, Alec Kwait and Blake Schumaker, rang in the New Year with the HoriZone Roundtable's annual live episode, which was broadcast via YouTube this year. They discussed the second full weekend of Horizon League, specifically the nightmare John will have to sort out in the Power Rankings with five teams sitting at 2-2.

Back to the Grind
The non-conference schedule is back in full swing, and Bob and Matt talk about all the games, including a sneaky triple double by a Youngstown State player, Green Bay getting two wins at home, and happy kids taking the day off from school and watching some college hoops.

Conference Match-Up Battles!
John joins Bob to fill in for Matt next week, and they discuss the conference games that took place in the Horizon League this weekend, including ones that involved Wright State that didn't go as planned, contests at Northern Kentucky that went down to the wire, and Cleveland State and Milwaukee, both of which completed sweeps.

MT-Eek!
Bob and Matt go through the week that was in the Horizon League, which included a ton of MTEs, nearly all of which did not fare well for conference teams.

Drinking From the Firehose
With a crush of non-conference games played during the week, Bob and Matt do their best to get through all over them. They include Northern Kentucky's impressive win against Cincinnati, as well as a thrilling game between Oakland and Eastern Michigan

The Regular Season is Here (And Wins Would Be Nice)!
Bob and Matt delve into the first week of the season, which was filled with the usual drubbings against non-D1 competition, seemingly winnable games, and buy games in which only one Horizon League team, Wright State, came out on top.
