Elysia Buss interviews Ariana Strozzi Mazzucchi regarding new paradigms in horsemanship & why they're essential; leadership & what horses teach us
This was such a fun interview to do! We discussed what it was like being the pioneer of equine guided education and coaching; why the new paradigms in horsemanship are essential; leadership; what horses teach us; and the beauty of her seeing her dreams of the evolution of the equine assisted industry coming to fruition! Ariana started her coaching career pioneering Leadership & Horses TM and Intuitive Horsemanship TM in 1989. She went on to create SkyHorse Academy and pioneered Equine Guided Education and Coaching. Her teachings have been incorporated into leadership institutes and equine therapy programs around the world including Institute for Women’s Leadership, Institute for Generative Leadership, Institute of Noetic Sciences, and Meridian University, Teaching Horse, The Reflective Horse and more. Ariana is the author of four books and recently won a Indies Book Award for her latest book, The Water Calls, One Woman's Journey to Reclaim her Dignity and Freedom.
Ariana’s mission is to empower healthy leaders to take a stand for healing the planet. She is a zoologist, healer, visionary storyteller, and renaissance woman who weaves together the powers of intention, somatic presence and nature's wisdom into a unique visionary model that has transformed thousands of people worldwide. Ariana is authentic, original and wild by nature. She grew up in two different worlds; the world of nature and the world of people. Her entrepreneurial instinct was sparked at a leadership conference when she saw the gap between the words people spoke and the underlying energetic tone of their presence. She knew at that moment her destiny was to build a bridge between the natural world and the human world so each could heal the other. This epiphany led her to develop her powerful body of work that blends the unlikely combination of instinct, intuition and lessons from nature into embodied leadership for a healthy planet.

Elysia Buss interviews Lynda Watson re: horse human connection, developing human potential, equine leadership & a vision for the future
The horse~human connection always helps develop human potential.
Done from the heart it enhances both horse and human on their paths; and that is Lynda J. Watson's path.
In the words of Lynda: I consider myself a passionate and joyful human being. Life couldn’t be fuller and I am grateful for every minute of it. I live just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada with my two Silken Windhounds, Audrey and Tiffany. I have enjoyed many fabulous adventures on my journey through life so far. These include; mother, equestrian coach with my own farm for 20 years, equine photographer, worked in the humanitarian field for 15 yrs, an avid traveler, and lifelong learner in the field of human potential. I am the founder and publisher of Equine Leadership magazine.
Currently, I am taking time to follow through on some writing projects that have been in my heart for quite a while. Of course, the horses are never far away and I freelance as a coach in the field of Equine Facilitated Learning. To compliment that I recently certified as a Trauma Sensitive HearthMath Practitioner. Equine work, in whatever form it has taken in my life, has instilled in me the insight that a horse’s model of living is a gateway to personal, community, and global change. A brighter future so to speak.
My motto: Inspiring compassion and enhancing the evolution of the human heart.

Elysia Buss interviews Ada Haensel re: hippotherapy, service dogs & neuroscience
I'm so excited to be showcasing a local business owner here in Charlottesville, Virginia! Ada Haensel is a wonderful young woman who is working with kids and horses while providing speech therapy! I look forward to having her on the show and learning more about her journey, the science behind the work, and how horses and dogs help with it all! Our top three topics are: 1. What is hippotherapy and what it isn't 2. Service/therapy dogs 3. Neurological research incorporating dogs and implications for horses.
Ada's bio: Ada Haensel is a Virginia licensed speech language pathologist and equine expert. Ada graduated from the University of Virginia for undergraduate studies in communication disorders in 2019 and from the communication science and disorders masters program in 2021. She knows how it feels to struggle in school. She was diagnosed with dyslexia and severe anxiety in 4th grade. She saw specialists in and out of school to help with her learning challenges but the mundane experience disengaged her from the therapeutic messages. Ada is opening Speaking of Horses to help children find their voices by targeting specific speech goals in a passionate, engaging, natural environment.
As always, if you'd like to be on my show or book me for your own or do empowerment coaching with me without or without horses; go to www.globalequineaffiliates.com to book a call.
