Songs of Christmas: Mary's Song | Brendon Walmsley
Mary’s position in Jewish and Roman society was fairly insignificant. However, Mary recognised that despite where her culture told her she belonged, first and foremost Mary knew that she belonged to God and was willing to do whatever he asked of her. In this sermon Brendon takes a look at Mary’s Song and how it reveals the importance of God-inspired humility that comes from within, regardless of what may be going on around us.

Songs of Christmas: Isaiah's Song | Dion David
Everything that God made, He made good and brought light into darkness. For the bite of an apple, mankind sold good for evil and light for darkness. In great mercy and love, God promised to deliver us from the evil one, sin and death and bring us out of darkness and into his marvellous light. In this sermon Dion begins our Christmas series, as we remember with incredulity that at Christmas, God becomes one of us – fully human, yet remains Himself – fully divine, and how this begins the series of events that fulfil Isaiah's prophecy.

Be Still: Dig Deeper & Be Secure | Graham Jones
This is our second week considering God’s Word directing us to 'Be Still'. We live in the speed, demands and pressures of the 21st century. 'Being still' is an oxymoron in this fast pace of life we experience. Yet it’s God speaking a command to us that He knows will positively transform our lives. The reason being, that as we cease from striving we can place ourselves in a position to know the God of the Universe in such an intimate way that will have eternal consequences on our lives.

Be Still: Cease Striving | Jenny Savill
The Bible commands us to “Be Still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10), but how do we do that? The demands of our daily lives fill our waking hours. Our trust in God can be eroded or even displaced at the centre of our lives as we trust more often in ourselves than in Him. Putting God at the centre of our lives takes practise. Jenny unpacks what this looks like in this message.

Multicultural Service: One Body | Jason Higlett
Recently in Western culture, there has been a much-needed emphasis on diversity and inclusion. However, has our focus been so much on our differences that we’ve lost sight of what we have in common? Are we giving so much attention to what is different that we’ve forgotten about what unites us? Jesus spoke many times about unity and even prayed for us, his believers, that we would have complete unity and be one body.

In Jesus Name: Serving in His Name | Ross Savill
There are many wonderful organisations who care for the marginalised and stand with those who are oppressed, and they serve others well. The work they do is important. The Church is called to serve, and we need to be faithful to that call and always remember that the thing that should distinguish the service we give is that it should be done in Jesus' name. In this message Ross will look at what this means and why it is so important.

In Jesus Name: Praying in His Name | Ross Savill
The Bible teaches that when we pray and make our requests to God, we are to ask in the name of Jesus. "In Jesus name" is not like a magical key that unlocks the door for our requests. “In Jesus name” is not a secret code for always getting what we want from God, that he is somehow obliged to give us what we want. However it is important that we ask in Jesus name. “In Jesus name” is in part recognition of our ongoing need for grace, and our acknowledgement that all that we have and ask for is because of Jesus our saviour. In this sermon Ross will take some time to examine the importance of praying in Jesus name.

In Jesus Name: The Name That Saves | Brendon Walmsley
Throughout history, incredible success has been achieved by men and women whose names continue to shine bright across fields such as medicine, science, human rights, invention, the arts and engineering. Many of these names have been elevated in response to the problems they have solved. However, there is one name which fixed our biggest problem ever. In this sermon Brendon Walmsley speaks on why the name of Jesus is the name above all names. The only name with the power to save.

In Jesus Name: Beholding Our King | Richard Brown
Who is Jesus now, and how does beholding Jesus as King affect our everyday life? In this message, guest speaker Richard Brown takes us on a tour of the Scriptures to explore how excellent and matchless is the name of Jesus as we begin a new teaching series “In Jesus’ Name”.

Joy, the Gift that Satisfies | Graham Jones
If you could say in one word what you want more of in life, what would it be? We live in a very affluent country and there is much we could choose. Surveys asking this question are being constantly conducted. The most common response is “happiness”. People are striving for happiness and are willing to look for it in many and varied ways. To be happy in all areas of life is a good experience, yet the bible presents something more fulfilling than happiness, and that is joy. Biblical joy is more than feeling happy. It’s a deep and lasting emotion that comes from receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit and knowing that God fulfils the promises He gives from His Word.

Unity | Ross Savill
"Most Christians would agree that unity is a good thing. We’d like more unity in churches and in our relationships, not less. But what often impedes progress is we don’t like what’s required to make unity possible. There is no unity without humility" (Dustin Crowe). In this sermon Ross speaks on the importance of serving others with humility.

Identity: The Man with no Name | Neale Proellocks
By far the most common name used to describe believers in the New Testament is "in Christ" or "in him", but what exactly does it mean to be "in Christ"? In this sermon Neale Proellocks continues our Identity Series by looking at this very important part of who we are as Christians. He explores how exactly we obtain the identity "in Christ" and what it looks like day by day in our modern world.

Identity: We are the Church | Ross Savill
In this message we continue our series on Identity by taking some time to talk about the wider Church and our role within that as HumeRidge. It is easy to speak about Church as a building or even a service, but what difference would it make if we came to recognise that we have been assembled by God for his purpose and mission.

Identity: Adoption | Jackson Savill
In this message Jackson Savill continues on with our series on identity by looking at what it means for us to be adopted as a Child of God. He looks particularly at Romans 8 and what it reveals about what it is that we have been saved from, saved to and saved for – in our adoption as Children of God.

Identity: Who are you? Jenny Savill
It has been said that the human race is suffering from a collective identity crisis. However we can trust that the truth of who we are is found in the word of God. AW Tozer said: "Put God in his rightful place and one thousand problems are solved all at once". When we really understand that we are made in the image of God and that he loves us, we begin to live in that truth and we will never be the same. In this message Jenny Savill begins our new sermon series on Identity.
