Part 1 of 3: Deloitte Global 2022 Gen Z and Millennial Survey
Striving for balance, advocating for change? In this episode, we talk about Part 1 of the Deloitte Global 2022 Gen Z and Millennial Survey: Struggling with the cost of living and financial anxiety.
As this year’s survey results indicate, the sustained workplace changes Gen Z and Millennials have been asking for—including higher compensation, more flexibility, better work/life balance, increased learning and development opportunities, better mental health and wellness support, and a greater commitment from businesses to make a positive societal impact—are also the strategies that will help employers attract and retain talent. Responses from 14,808 Gen Zs and 8,412 millennials across 46 countries were collected; do you think it represents what’s really happening now?

Joining me in the studio, we have Rebekah Ockens, an organisational psychologist. Rebekah partners with large global organisations to support them with their people strategies i.e. from retaining their top talent, promoting those with the right culture fit to designing strategies and accompanying processes that create high performing teams. She is also an executive coach for senior leaders to help them understand why they behave the way they do, at work and how to overcome their limiting beliefs.
