This week's episode is a bit different! This year marked 5 years of Black Comix Day in San Diego, California. Our own Brian Lambert was part of a panel on Saturday, February 11, entitled Empowered: Old vs. Young. The panel discussed, "Do audiences really want original characters of color or prefer the recasting of established characters as POC?" The panel included Mia L. Bunn, Robert Roach, and Christina Cromer.

In this episode, Brett explains the ICD Awards, the nomination process, and how finalists are chosen. The ICD Awards are a professional-quality award show exclusively for small press comic creators.

Throwback to Konret Comic's Jermael Lessey on Quentin's Enginewerks. In this episode, Jermael and Quentin talk about Absolver, hockey, and Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash.
