Moment 10 was Mark Lowry's mid-season roster flip, bringing in Jesus Vasquez, Juan Tejada, and Robby Dambrot along with other players all making a difference on the Eleven's season roster. Moment 9 is dedicated to just one player! Solomon Asante and his performance for the Eleven last season was standout and deserving of its own recognition on the countdown. Finally in this segment, Moment 8 is Indy's December transactions. It was announced that Cam Lindley would be returning to Indy for the 2023 season. Sebastian Guenzatti made it into this countdown at the last minute as his transaction was just finalized last week. (24:50-34:12) – Moment 7 is the specific date of July 9th, 2022. Otherwise known as the first double-header in Indy 11 history. The women's team played first getting a win over Detroit City FC, while the men fell short against Detroit City that same day. August 22nd being the date where the Indy Eleven broke their scoreless streak in a winning effort following twelve straight weeks without a victory. (43:49-52:36) - Noblesville Millers boys soccer coach in Ken Dollaske joins Greg Rakestraw on Soccer Saturday ahead of their 3A State Final match against Columbus North to explain what his preseason expectations were for his team, what it has been like trying to develop players on his team to fill the departure of Palmer Ault, details the level of competition that he plays throughout the year from teams in Hamilton County, and previews his opponent in Columbus North ahead of their 1:30pm match for the 3A State Championship. (55:36-56:19) - With Rake up against the clock, he does a quick sign off by thanking all the parties that were able to make today's edition of Soccer Saturday possible.

1st Break - The show opens this week with a 5-season veteran of the Indy 11 joining Greg Rakestraw on Soccer Saturday. Karl Ouimette calls in to the program and discusses his loan to Detroit City this year. Ouimette says Detroit was a pleasant surprise. He has received quality treatment from the city and the team. Rakestraw dives into the differences between Indy and Detroit's playing venues. Ouimette claims that Detroit's field is very small, which allows it to sell out and give fans a more intense feel. Ouimette misses home in Carmel, Indiana but he is focussed on this Detroit team that is still seen as an underdog despite their post season appearance.  2nd Break - John Morrissey of USL Tactics joins the show and gives a detailed rundown of players and teams that are matching up in the USL playoffs. Colorado Springs vs. Rio Grande Valley is a standout game for Morrissey. They had a couple of players step up as offensive producers while having a very limited defensive presence. Rio Grande Valley on the other hand has been a team that steadily improved the entire year. They started as a slow paced offensive team and transformed into a counter-attack powerhouse. What does the abscence of Hadji Berry mean to Colorado Springs? Morrissey then does a quick look into the Tampa Bay vs. Miami game.  3rd Break - Drew Thompson of "The Game Beckons" blog is up on the program and recaps the Indy 11 season in terms of roster size, returning members and possible new members, age of the roster, and more! Thompson and Rakestraw also go over his favorite moment from the Indy 11's 2022 season. Rakestraw closes the interview by promoting Thompson's  entry and exit interview with DePauw's soccer coach Brad Hauter.  4th Break - Dave Leno closes out the show giving a preview of his call with the Philadelphia Union in the MLS Ploffs. Coming off of their 1-0 win in the first round of the MLS Cup Playoffs, the Union await their opponent in the conference finals. FC Cincinnati had been a team that frustrated the Union earlier in the year and with such a close game it was clear the frustrations continued into this game. Philadelphia had a winning streak to defend however as they have won 13 in a row at home and that streak, plus the pressure of playoff elimination was enough to elevate them to a single goal victory. Rakestraw puts Leno on the spot to predict who the Union will see in their next matchup. They will face the  winner between Montreal FC and New York City.

(33:50-45:37) - It is the MLS Playoff Preview Segment, Greg Rakestraw talks with the Voice of FC Cincinnati Tom Gelehrter as they make their first playoff birth since moving up to MLS from USFL. He discusses what it means for the team to make their maiden playoffs and previews their match against the New York Red Bull and discusses their chances to advance in the postseason. (48:37-58:26) - To wrap up this week’s edition of Soccer Saturday, Greg talks about the news and notes with possible Televison contract changes when it comes to soccer matches. Greg dives into the eleven best things about 2021 starting with the Eleven's win over Louisville for the first time in three years by breaking down the matchups between the two teams this season. (10:35-20:44) In the second segment of this edition of best of 2021, Rakestraw touches on the fan experience at Indy Eleven games and the return to the Mike, a.k.a IU Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium, on the campus of IUPUI. Greg and Brad Hauter reminisce about the return to the "spiritual home" of the Eleven and how different it was compared to playing at Lucas Oil Stadium. More importantly, the fans were back in the stands for Eleven games heightening the experience at the Mike so much more.  To round out the segment, the Indy Eleven will have a women's team in the W League, sponsored by the USL. (23:45-33:41) Greg gives some love to Manuel Arteaga, Nicky Law and Jared Timmer who made their debut with the club in 2021 and will be back in 2022. Rakestraw and Hauter provide some highlights from these three players and talk about what they each brought to the pitch this season. Arteaga was the goal leader for Indy in 2021 and both Law and Timmer were near the top of the club in terms of matches and minutes played. Greg and Brad touch on how important a healthy youth system is for the club and why winning a championship on any level is infectious. Cochran describes what to expect from a Mark Lowry coached team, the new personnel he's looking forward to working with this upcoming season and what he thinks his role will be on the team this season. (20:07-32:18) The Indy Eleven are entering the USL W League and named a head coach. Paul Dolinsky, former head coach of the WPSL's Lady Victory FC, was named the head coach along with Grace Bahr who was named the first assistant coach. Paul touches on his arrival to the organization and the core players that the team also announced in forwards Katie Soderstrom and Kristina Lynch and midfielder Molly McLaughlin. Coach Dolinsky and Greg touch on tapping into the talent coming out of college and the players trying to prove themselves for another pro contract down the road. Paul talks about the attention of the USL W League, already hearing from players in Europe and getting to call Grand Park home base for the club. The conversation concludes with Paul's head coach Grace Bahr and what she will bring to the club as a former player and now coach as well as the upcoming open tryout for the team.
