Creative Centre Friday
Why? Creative on Friday. Creating a clear space within, to do the hard work outside yourself. Like a happy hour on a Friday.

Giving grief a place to exist - Extended version
Grief I believe was inherited in to my life by witnessing it in my parent from a young age. Their grief and pain became internalized in to me. I remember the moment seeing my son's eyes - they looked how I felt when I was his age. And I wanted to stop the cycle so he could have a different experience of life, his own.

Give grief a space to exist
Kia ora and welcome to "Grief Centre with Indigenuity on Mondays." I use the word grief but I mean many other things. Like anger, sadness, loss, trauma, being stuck, frightened. The hole. Disassociation - disconnecting from yourself mometarily is not 'sexy' these days where everything is about vulnberability and connection. However...it's a pragmatic tool that has helped me to be able to overcome overwhelm, loss and messy situations to buy my own houses for my kids.𝘛𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘸𝘦 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘧 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦. The origns of Hope Centre practise
Nearly 25 years ago I was introduced to mindfulness, compassion and hope as a practise. Then I have seen that with daily practise, the profound change.

What was the origin of Grief Centre?
Aonga Ake e te whaanau. Today is Monday, we make space for our grief, anger, resentment. You know, the kind of experiences that have been holding us back on our journey. Today I discuss the origins of why I started Grief Centre on Mondays. It's probably not what you think. It was actually about how I managed to keep myself calm amongst other people's bull kaka, greed and behaviour. In particular how whaanau behaved around land, whenua, trusts and money. Paru, sad, bad behaviour.
I discuss how being stuck looked in my experience and the approach that has given some peace for my whaanau.
Please check out www.linkpop.com/inez for my programmes.

Cultivating Hope within yourself is an abundant source
Every property I've ever bought, the finance journey was filled with 9 x NO, and 1 x Yes right at the end. This is normal. Practise Hope so that you don't give up. It's a skill and a virtue. Today we delve into the concept of cultivating hope within yourself. Let's explore the practices, tools, and perspectives that allow us to nurture and foster hope. In terms of homeownership and whenua, you need hope. Lots of it, because often the process feels like it is always a 'NO'. Will you consider retraining yourself to see NO as - Not Yet. 🟡 Hope is a practise 🌼 You can rewire your self to feel hopeful 🟡 To feel hopeful, try thinking of yourself when you were little. Visualise give you, what you needed to feel hopeful and joyful. + Try acting with compassion to yourself; kind to the version of you that needs to hear warm words of encouragement. Visualise and physicalise kindness to you. Tune in to the weekly podcast, like a midweek cup of tea with ourselves.
Inherited Mamae from Tūpuna - Extended version
Trigger warning: there are some topics discussed that may trigger you. These topics are discussed at some point:
- miscarriage
- anxiety, depression
- ancestors
Grief centre came from what I've learned about myself. What I wished someone had shared with me before I got too enveloped in my grief and loss. When you start to feel like you ARE anxiety, grief and loss. With practise I've managed to seperate my sense of self from energy that actually belongs to other people. So now I am able to feel happy and liberated even though my environment hasn't; the people around me are still the same. How powerful it is to experience liberation even without the power to change others.

Inherited Mamae from Tūpuna
Our Tūpuna (ancestors) carry their own mamae (grief), and sometimes we inherit a portion of it. Today, we explore the mamae we've inherited and how it impacts our lives. By acknowledging and understanding this inheritance, we can embark on a journey of healing and liberation.

Hope grows with practice
𝗔𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗲 𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘂. "On Wednesdays, We Practise Hope," where we cultivate and nurture the flicker of hope within you until it blazes into an unstoppable flame. In this episode, we touch on the power of consistent practice and resilience because 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘 doesn't always come naturally at first. Most of the last few years has been believing in something that did not exist in my day to day...happiness. But just practising the feeling, that there is something around the corner, eventually it arrives. Just like muscles that grow with training.

Grief Centre - How long have you been stuck?
Kia ora. Welcome back to "Grief Centre with Indigenuity on Mondays." Today, I invite you to reflect on how long you've been feeling stuck. Stagnation can hinder our growth and healing process. Together, we'll explore the roots of this stagnation and discover ways to move forward with intention and resilience.

Creative Centre Fridays
On Fridays, we make space for creativity. You don't always have to be doing crafts - sometimes just about play or experiencing freedom. Taking back control or the feeling of control over your life. Even if it is just a few minutes or an hour of your week. And from that feeling of freedom and play, that feeling is actually wealth. If we learn what it feels like, it starts to become more and more present in our life - after that the money is easy.

Hope Centre Wednesdays
On Wednesdays, we practise hope. We take the small flame of hope, we grow it until it's abundant. We do this because Hope is a behaviour, a practise. It doesn't always come naturally. So by having a practise where every Wednesday we think and associate ourselves to hopeful thoughts. Eventually it comes present in our lives.

Grief Centre - Join me on Mondays
On Mondays we practise grief. We give ourselves permission to feel grief, resentment, anger - everything that comes up in our lives that prevents us from reaching for what we want. On Mondays we let it have it space. We park it there and then we get on with the rest of our week.
Imagine this as a virtual space that I hold for you to name your grief, acknowledge all that you have been through or perhaps still going through. Resentment, anger, sadness, hardship. Speak gently to yourself while I hold a few moments here for you. Let your voice be heard, name what's holding you back.

Virtual Grief Centre - On Mondays we give ourselves permission to grief our losses
Today's questions:
- What is holding you back?
- What feelings are you holding but need permission to feel?
- How will you honour everything you are going through?
- When do you plan for time to replenish?
Things to consider:
- There are 52 Mondays in a year
- Giving yourself a moment every Monday to address, name and hold space for your grief will mean 52 days of practise
- It takes practise to hold space for emotions
- Stretch yourself a bit more each week
- Eventually you will learn to unpack and off load anything that is holding you back

Grief Centre Monday - Naming our emotions instead of burying them behind money
Do you need a money coach? www.linkpop.com/inez. Our coaches actively work on themselves alongside our skills and achievements in property. It's a whole person experience.
Today I've recorded my own reflections on where my grief, resentments and control issues rise up in my life. It's been wearing me out a bit lately. Particularly in trying to translate my annoyances about relationship money, and instead telling the authentic truth.

Creative Centre Fridays
Make time and space to pause. I do this through being creative. It uses another source of energy that seems bottomless and so I get a break from stresses. In this space and time, the answers to problems just flow and follow.

Update on workshops, scholarships and the importance of coaching while you relearn how to thrive.
Imperfection is good: six figures a year from being super imperfect
Embracing imperfection is part of your Reset journey.
Start everyday with a warm drink.
In essence, I want you to listen and include your body in this journey. Your body can often feel a way, but we override it by overthinking. Overthinking can take away some of the true communications our body is trying to tell us. "I'm stressed, I'm thirsty, I feel unsafe, I feel unwell, I have nothing left to give".
Feeling good as a physical experience as well as a mental and emotional one. A warm drink is about taking time; about warming up your puku - the engine for your mind and body; taking care of yourself through simple daily practise.

What are you soothing - Extended version
I've been doing the mahi since 2016. I've noticed patterns. I've seen the patterns in myself.
Most overspending, or avoiding paying bills, or getting in to debt appears to follow, a need to soothe oneself.
Mamae, loss, grief, anger, guilt, anxiety.
Not everything is, but before moving forward, let's double check.
Experiencing quiet and silence, pushing your energy inward
Tikanga of holding space in quiet and sometimes quiet:
This episode is very important. For us to do well together as coach and coachee, we need to be sure that we are aligned in our tikanga.
In the Reset your Money Thermostat programme you will experience:
- quiet
- low stimulation
- low facial expression feedback
- low people pleasing behaviour
- in order to create space for YOU to be the priority of YOUR energy.
This programme is built on You being the place where you will be asked to pull your energy in to. Take your energy inward. My priority is creating the space to reset your thermostat.
Resetting Your Money Thermostat
An introduction to our coaching journey, this is the first video of our series - Reset Your Money Thermostat. Click here if you want to enrol and receive invites to further events.
A thermostat senses the temperature of a room, and then turns on heat or instead cooling systems until the preset temperature is reached again. With a curious mind, let's paint a picture of your current Money Thermostat - what are your limiting beliefs?
- What does your Money Thermostat look like right now?
- What do you want your Money Thermostat to look like, to feel wealthy, healthy and thriving?
- What do you want to work on, really? Money... or something else?

What are you trying to soothe yourself from?
Most overspending,
or avoiding paying bills,
or getting in to debt appears to follow,
a need to soothe oneself.
Mamae, loss, grief, anger, guilt, anxiety.
Not everything is, but before moving forward, let's double check.

One stupid thing to do today

Year of the Growling
So 2023 - I'm trying something different. We are going to call it the year of the growling. Each week I'm going to release truth bombs on my Spotify and Youtube channels. No more filters or innuendos where I try to sound supportive and neutral. You can choose to hate me...sit with that feeling...and unpack where the truth is about why you have the circumstances that you do.

Five Figure 'Zero' balance
Subscribe to my Youtube channel for more detailed videos as we spend $0 from our personal income for six months. https://www.youtube.com/@indigenuity
Let's get into it. 2022 felt great. And it was not because of luck. No. I worked at the damn thing from 2015 to 2021. I/we/my little whānau, worked at all the healing and growth that we needed in order to experience peace and joy.
...and a five figure 'zero'. Some people call $0 in the bank account 'zero'. I've consistently called $50,000 my zero.
2022 was different. Finally I didn't have my partner, whānau, colleagues or acquaintances rumble with me because they felt unearthed by how I say 'NO' at a five figure bank balance.
No, last year, my husband joined me (it has taken a couple of years to calibrate ourselves) - and agreed that this is the life our children will be raised in. Where a house or two, a five figure bank balance, no violence, laughter and love - is allowed to be our normal. As a Māori woman and a Niuean Cook Island man - we are allowed to have this normal for our mokopuna.

Daily Livestream - Money Mindset with my husband
Today's livestream relates to our Current stage in CleanBanking. My husband has graciously agreed to let me interview him on his money mindset he has and grew up with.
Together we will share how our mindsets have clashed. And then how we also worked to harness this and move forward. I would say we have resolved our differences, but we are committed to a common goal and some how we manage to row in sync often enough that the waka does shift forward.
We achieve our financial goals together as a couple at a later stage in life, perhaps because we have no time to waste, so we just have to.
We are going to investigate what our backgrounds taught us that have shaped our inner money voice/mindset.
I would like anyone who can, to voice record what your money mindset is, why and how it affects or benefits you. Please send your voice recording in. We can all benefit from sharing in our experiences (voice recording keeps your anonymity)

Maori Land Monday - The Patriarchy

Solution Interlude - The solution before the problem
Next week's episode is about the Patriarchy and my problem with it. I don't want to be a whinger, name and shamer, bleating about mamae without offering a solution.
So each week I will share with you a shorter interlude the gets to the point, the solution, for how I overcome a problem - before I talk to you about the problem. Then, you can listen to the following episode for more context, perhaps just to listen to my story.
Inspiration for the interlude is from one of my favourite albums by OutKast; an interlude to set the scene before the next waiata :)

Maori Land Mondays - Back after 12 months away
A kaupapa to keep sharing with my followers on how I self represented in the Māori Land Court.
My goal is to break the whānau cycle of holding secrets for poor whānau ethics, greed and intra-oppression (the oppressed now opress) and instead share the experience for others to follow the solutions that worked for me.
The theme of Mondays will be Māori Land. No I am not open for individual consultations but will instead share and it is up to you to follow.
