    https://www.facebook.com/suicidebereavementcoaching/

After losing her beloved Mum to suicide in November 2013, Caro quickly realized that there isn't enough support out there for suicide loss survivors.

She struggled with the complex grief that comes with losing a loved one to suicide, including feelings of guilt. After trying every healing strategy under the sun, Caro finally found the one which works when she learned all about refuting untrue and unhelpful thoughts, as well as rewiring the brain. It had such a profound impact on her life that Caro decided to help others who suffered the same fate as her.

Caro is now a Certified NeuroCoach and suicide bereavement coach. She uses brain based, science backed methods, as well as drawing from her vast experience, to support her clients to find inner peace and even joy again - for good.

Have you and your survivor experienced those first few days, weeks, months or maybe even years during which you can’t get your brain to even understand? That’s what I’m talking about. I call that place the grief cave.
This interview explores avoiding the words:
* At least you still have
* Look on the bright side
* Anything that attempts to lead them away from their immediate grief...
* Time will heal
* You’ll feel better soon.
* Just give it time
* He’s with God now and out of pain.
Just say, “I’m so sorry. This is awful, and I am here for you.”
If you really want to help them, DON’T try to make them feel better.
Instead, listen to and support them by saying:
“I’m so sorry. This does suck.” As the founder of Inhabit Joy, Michelle Ann Collins partners with individuals who have suffered grief, injury, or other types of loss as they recover, reclaim their wholeness, and build resilience for life’s inevitable challenges. After a series of losses, including the death of her mother, her husband’s suicide, and estrangements from primary family members, Michelle combined the tools she had collected as a yoga therapist and wellness coach and studies in positive psychology, neuroscience, meditation and mindfulness, and spirituality to turn post-traumatic stress disorder into post-traumatic growth and resilience. With the addition of certifications in grief education and grief yoga, and several bestselling books in which she shares her story, Michelle helps others transform from barely surviving to joyful thriving. Michelle teaches and coaches in private, corporate and small group settings, and enjoys sharing her skills and experience through speaking and facilitating workshops and retreats.
Deeply connected with the healing powers of nature, Michelle spends her leisure time hiking among the trees or paddling on the rivers near her home in Portland, Oregon.

Find me and learn more about Integrated Wellbeing Institute here: https://integratedwellbeinginstitute.com

Losing a child is an Out-Of-Order Death.

The Grief that follows is like swimming upstream in a river of mud with a 1000 lb. backpack.

Yet, Marc and Annie Adams have made that journey. They began immediately when their child, Zenzi, died on March 30, 2018.

Today you will experience not only their story. You will receive many tools for your grief journey.

Marc Adams is a multi-dimensional facilitator that believes everyone has the innate ability to heal themselves. His life’s journey through profound grief, gratitude, fatherhood, and 26 years of marriage have cultivated a practice of acceptance, forgiveness, creativity, and abundance. Marc has a private practice guiding clients one-on-one, in small groups, and in larger workshops and retreats. He can be reached directly at roadrunner.pdx@gmail.com.

Annie has been teaching for over 20 years.  Diving into her passion for health and well being she became a Nutritional Therapist in 2009.  She worked with clients one on one along with teaching food classes.  It was a wonderful profession while she raised her two children.  Then she was called back to school to become an elementary school teacher.  Teaching children and working in schools brought great joy and satisfaction.

After a life changing event in March of 2018 Annie was called for a different type of teaching.  Grief became her focus. She became a Certified Grief Facilitator in 2020.  Companioning grieving people through their darkest days to help remind them of their magnificence is her gift to the world.  Annie offers one on one grief support as a grief companion, supporting her clients along their grief journey to eventually create and live a life they love, in spite of, and because of, their loss(es).
