Ten Tips for a Happy Child #5 What can we control in our home to help create peace?
This episode gives ideas of how we can control the environment that our child grows up in, in a way to create peace. There are chapters in our life when we have a say of what they have access to. Let's question what we bring into our home, what devices they have access to, what food is stored in our pantry. I love saying YES to my kids, so I want to be able to say yes to them as much as I can. Creating a house full of toys that they can play with, videos they can watch, and the food they can eat, are healthy ways to control the environment around them in a kid-friendly way. This creates more peace in our home and lessens how many times a day I have to say no. We can't control our kids, but let's talk about what we can control.
