Mommy hood and toddler days
We stopped the preschool and are back to the same old same old with our routine.
I have a Substack at https://suzanne.substack.com/
My Jack's Mum Substack (in progress is at) https://jacksmum.substack.com/
Also, it's really summoned but apparently summonsed isn't completely incorrect (thanks, Google.)

Happy New Year! It’s time to start preschool.

Episode 12: Getting a toddler ready for Christmas

Episode 10: Covid Is Still Ruining My Plans after Freedom Day
Freedom Day was Monday the 19th of July. What does that mean for parents? We're still self-isolating and having lots of cases in the U.K., so how do we as parents handle the situation? Do we keep on wearing masks and social distancing, do we stop taking kids to activities altogether, or do we just go with the flow and accept that the pandemic is on its way out?

Episode 9: How Covid Can Still Ruin Your Plans
Covid may almost be over, as far as some are concerned, but it can still really ruin your plans.

Episode 8: Swimming, nursery, sickness, and Covid testing
So much going on these days! It's been a week of illness and trying to get back into classes and nursery.
(Apologies for sounding a bit stressed on this one -- I am!)

Episode 7: Taking a Toddler Out and About
Covid has changed a lot of things, so taking a toddler out and about has its new challenges.

What can we do to look after ourselves? Do we even have the time to do the things we like to do when we're looking after kids?

Episode 5: Nursery
Sending a child to nursery is tough, but it's even more difficult with National Lockdown and government guidelines.
If you'd like to research any nurseries for your child, I suggest finding them on Facebook and looking at the reviews as well as finding them on the following sites:

Episode 4: Eating
My baby ate some toast and a green bean today? Weaning a toddler after going through the breastfeeding/bottle feeding dance is tough.
Also, many Americans won't know what a Health Visitor is: she is a midwife who is trained in community public health. They come to your house and check on the children at home.
Here's more information: What is a Health Visitor?

Episode 3: Sleep
To sleep? That is the question. Everyone who has a baby knows how important sleep and the lack thereof may be on parents.

Episode 2: Shock
What is it like to have a new baby? Shocking, especially during a global pandemic.
