In honor of Easter Sunday, from Paper 171:8 I read the story of "As Jesus Passed By" and what this God-man was like as he lived among men and women in his day.

It's a short story, but perhaps one you have not heard before.

From Paper 49, we learn all about the different kinds of will creatures who evolve on different planets throughout the universe. What makes this even more interesting is the common fact that all will creatures of soul potential have a special gland in their brain that makes our spiritual life even possible, what the Urantia Book calls the "citadel of the mind."

Part 3 of the Urantia starts with the history of our world, including a brief introduction to the beginnings of the nebula that gave birth to our sun. It's a fascinating trip back into the far reaches of time to witness the creation of Christ Michaels's universe, of which we are a part.

This episode puts into perspective the relative meaning of time, the vastness of space, and the effort that goes into universe-building.

In this episode, we talk about the modern definition of what it means to be a Prophet. Plus, from Paper 111 we discuss the Human Paradox from the perspective of a Guardian Angel.

These are great sections of the Urantia book that mostly anyone can read that would get them interested if they are into knowing this kind of revelatory information.

1 - Paper 1, section 1 The Father's Name.

However, this might by overly religious for many people who aren’t quite prepared to take the big step. Approach with caution.

2. Paper 62:6 and 7 - Planetary Mortal Epochs

This is good for people who love history and can comprehend some level of evolutionary progression as being the 'end game' of the human species.

3 - Paper 63 - The First Human family

There is a ring of truth to this paper. Even if you never read another paper you will have felt as if you have had a glimpse into the very first human life of two people who are really, our parents.

4 - Paper 74 - Adam and Eve

Most people are familiar with the story so it is a good entry point. It happened to be the first paper I read and it convinced me to buy the book.

5 - Paper 84 - Marriage and Family Life

You really get a rich appreciation of how hard things really were back then. There is a such a ring of credibility from this paper you get the sense who ever wrote them where either there, or had eyewitness accounts. Great insight into early human behavior, nonetheless.

6 - Paper 111 - The Adjuster and the Soul

You really learn a lot about yourself in these papers if you have ever given thought to real meaning in life and your purpose. It will have you thinking for sometime afterward, which makes it all of the more intriguing.

7. Paper 113- Personality Survival

Need I say more?

8. Paper 122:8 - The Star of Bethlehem

We all know the story, but this one can actually be confirmed.

9. Paper 139 - The 12 Apostles

Many have remarked that the description of the Apostles in this paper convinced them of the authenticity of the Urantia Book, even Dr. William Sadler as well as Dr. Meredith Sprunger.

10. Paper 195:5 and 6

To me the most chilling and sober message is contained in these several sections of paper 195. They are both prophetic as well cautionary. If we choose secularism as the primary ideology driving human progress then there will be much pain and suffering..

I came up with seven possible explanations for why the Revelators decided to provide humanity with an epochal revelation with highly spiritual concepts, historically expansive and revealed new truth, a level of unprecedented philosophical insight never before presented to a humanity that is quite possibly about to enter a dark spiritual age. 

Why did they do it?

Let's delve into that question and maybe we can figure out why the Revelators (our unseen spiritual friends) did a 'mic-drop-moment' in the form of a 2,000 page revelation that could change humanity forever.

Mind is your ship, the Adjuster is your pilot, the human will is captain. 

The master of the mortal vessel should have the wisdom to trust the divine pilot to guide the ascending soul into the morontia harbors of eternal survival. 

Only by selfishness, slothfulness, and sinfulness can the will of man reject the guidance of such a loving pilot and eventually wreck the mortal career upon the evil shoals of rejected mercy and upon the rocks of embraced sin. 

With your consent, this faithful pilot will safely carry you across the barriers of time and the handicaps of space to the very source of the divine mind and on beyond, even to the Paradise Father of Adjusters (your spirit).

This episode is about a superior philosophy known as Mota, from Paper 48 in the Urantia revelation.

Mota is a form of spiritual philosophy that encompasses the spiritual life that exists within physical creation. In the Morontia life, we will gain Mota insight.

"The highest attainable philosophy of mortal man must be logically based on the reason of science, the faith of religion, and the truth insight afforded by revelation. By this union man can compensate somewhat for his failure to develop an adequate metaphysics and for his inability to comprehend the mota of the morontia." 103:6.15

In our religious history Immanuel is connected to Jesus, but there is so much more to the story of this incredible personality who literally  "God With Us."

Let's explore this Son of ancient history, of ancient times in Scripture who "hails from Paradise."

The Urantia Book tells us about Ratta, the woman who married the first son of Adam, and we learn about her contributions to the world some 35 thousand years ago during the early days of the spread of the Adamites.

It's a wonderful story of a person whom time has forgotten, but whose journey and impact is explored on the pages of the Urantia revelation.

In this episode I explore the basic teachings about God we find in the Urantia revelation.
