The Shaky Experience

Donzii are a post punk, funk infused, new wave band based in Miami, FL, that started in 2016. The band has released one full length album and two EPs. And as of November 10th they released their third EP “Penetrate”. Donzii has had notable success from having two of theirs songs featured in HBO series Pretty Little Liars and one of their songs featured in a Supreme skateboarding video. They’ve opened for bands including New Order, Twin Sister, and Psychic Mirrors. They were an official artist at SXSW 2022, and they most recently performed 111 Points festival sharing the same lineup as Iggy Pop, Grimes, Skrillex, Caribou, Caroline Polacheck and many others.

Kip Berman (The Natvral) is an indie musician based in Princeton, NJ. He may be most notable for his band The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart which started in 2007 and have released 4 full length albums, a Tom Petty cover album, a handful of EPs, and several of singles. He most recently has been occupying his time with his solo project where he goes under the moniker The Natural which very recently released a new album called Summer Of No Light in September 2023. Kip has played many major music festivals, he’s toured across the world, performed on Late Night Television, has been featured in countless publications, and generally is just a very amazing guy.

Rafe is the cofounder and Executive Chairman of Solar Sounds. Solar Sounds is a business that hosts secret concerts in unique spaces that feature a very diverse and talented group of all types of musicians from different styles and genres. The company was started in London in 2009 and has since hosted events in over 400 cities and 78 countries. Sofar continues to grow and has hosted over 22,000 performances and continues counting. Artists that have performed Sofar Sounds include Billie Eillish, The Maria’s, James Bay, Wolf Alice, Bastille, Hozier, Leon Bridges, Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, and even the Twilight series actor himself, Robert Pattinson. Alan is a pop musician originally from Baltimore, but now lives in LA. He currently plays bass in Le Pain which have recently released their latest single “Rachel Vault Dancer” in March of 2023. Music releases that Alan has been a part of have been featured on Vice, Billboard, Exclaim!, NME, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, Under The Radar, Gorilla Vs Bear, Kanine Records, Slumberland Records, and much more. Steve Bays is a musician and recording engineer from British Columbia, Canada. He may be best known as the frontman / songwriter for Hot Hot Heat, which have released music with Sub Pop and Warner Brothers. The band has 5 full length albums, a handful of EPs, and several of hit singles. He’s notably toured across country with Foo Fighters, Weezer, The Killers, and Snow Patrol. He’s performed major festivals including Coachella and Glastonbury. His band were previously on the front cover of NME and have been featured in countless other publications. Steve owns and operates his own recording studio - Tugboat Pl. Studio where he has worked with artists including Diplo, Steve Aoki, Fitz and the Tantrums, and many many others. Simone is an inventor, engineer, product designer, and YouTube star! She may be most recognized for her YouTube channel where she creates, designs, modifies products, and entertains us. The channel has over 2 million subscribers and has been around for many years. Most recently, she’s opened up an online store spelled Yetch.store and released a YouTube video update on Truckla a Tesla car she converted into a truck. Simone has had lots of notable successful from being a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Being featured on WGN, Wired magazine, The Guardian, Google Talks, Ted Talks, and most recently a guest on the Lex Friedman podcast. Slim Guerilla is a rapper from Houston, TX that started his career in music at the age of 13. He has released over 10 albums, a few singles, and one greatest hits album. Slim was previously a part of Raider Klan featuring many influential artists within the group including Denzel Curry. SG cohosts a collective called Passion Playas featuring other artists, releases, merch, and more. Slim Guerilla’s track “Outlaws” is featured in the STARZ television network series P Valley. Coleman Zurkowski is a classically trained composer and musician originally from Maryland, but now based in New York. He started his studies in 2008 and has since released several pieces of amazing compositions and music. He was selected to be in a resident composer in Syros Greece in 2015. In 2017. He went on an international tour with his album ZERO which was later released on danger bird records (Hot Hot Heat, Seawolf, Fitz and The Tantrums) in LA in 2018. Coleman’s compositions have been featured in over 10 different film festivals including one being nominated for best screenplay and best cinematography at Queens World Film Festival. His work has also been featured in a Toyota commercial, Squirt Soda commercial, and a film produced by LeBron James. He'll have a piece of his music featured on Sesame Street in Fall 2022 (F is for Food). He'll be releasing his next album "Music For No One" on June 1st, 2022.

Blunt Bangs are an indie rock four piece based in Athens, GA founded in 2014. The group released their debut album “Proper Smoker” on September 17th, 2021 which followed with an East coast tour. The band just finished their most recent tour across the country performing notable sets at SXSW and Treefort Festival. Aaron Pfenning (Chairlift / Rewards) and Keith Carne (We Are Scientists/Communi Paw) are established acts within the music scene. Aaron previously founded Chairlift in 2005 and possibly is best known for the band’s single “Bruises”. Keith has been the drummer of We Are Scientists since 2013 recording the past few albums with the band including their latest album Huffy that came out in October 2021. Both Aaron and Keith have toured across the world, played numerous music festivals, and have performed on late night television shows. Christoph Hochheim is based in LA, California. He’s has been a member of Wild Nothing since 2021 providing lead guitar. This year he released his debut album with his twin brother, Anton as Always You on July 16th, 2021. Christoph most recently finished a tour this Fall with Wild Nothing opening up for Beach Fossils which his brother played drums for the band. Christoph has performed festivals inducing Pitchfork, Primavera, Coachella, Glastonbury, and much more.
