In this Episode Jay and the Street Art Strategy team Catch up with Aylo (Hayley) and CBloxx (Jay) two of the countries most prolific and talented female graffiti artists,they dropped by to paint a fantastic time peice mural in the heart of Coventry City Centre.

This is part of the Coventry City of Culture celebrations 2021 in conjunction with Coventry BID and delivered by the Street Art Strategy team,Jay goes deep and finds out what bought them together,life on the road as two openly queer female graffiti artists.

Also how they met their totally different but unique painting styles,what the future hold for the Clan and of course life in general.

In this episode Jay along with the Street Art Strategy team catch up with Dan Kitchener (DANK), a world famous graffiti artist who dropped by in Coventry where he painted a fantastic mural for part of the Coventry City of Culture 2021 which is supported by Coventry Bid.

Dan has a unique style which incorporates images and daily life from Tokyo, he has an amazing way of bringing the neon lights and futuristic technology of Tokyo to life in his murals, check this out where Dan explains how the Tokyo influence started, painting in different parts of the world and future projects.

In this episode Jay catches up with his old friend MC Kaspa who was is a well known Drum and Bass MC within the Midlands and beyond. They discuss musical influences his scrape with the law and how he has turned his life around.

Also discuss his contribution to his community through the radio station he supports and performs on and of course lock down, how has he found it and what changes will he make when its over.

In this episode, Jay catches up with Tim from Brink contemporary arts an organisation set up to give budding artists the freedom to express their art in many different formats and on various surfaces. This was probably the most unique interview as it took place on top of a metal storage container overlooking several street art murals. And yes that is a train you can hear in the background! 

They talk about the inspiration - the beginning and how it started,Leamington Spa street tours, how it has helped Tim with his mental health and of course lockdown.

In this episode I talk to Ex Wu Tang Clan and Duke Dumont tour manager Simon Green, about how he became the manager of the clan some stories from the world tour and also his involvement in various projects.

We touch on his experiences as a firefighter in his younger years his involvement in music production which sees him involved in a movement which helps tackle isolation through the love of music.

Also his experience in being involved in the the MOBO awards.

In this episode I interview Leigh "Toz" Torrance one part of  Coventry DJ trio Distortion, they were  residents at the famous Eclipse nightclub from 1990 - 1993. Distortion known around the midlands for their superb blend of house, electro, drum and bass and old school classics.

We will delve into the past and discuss where it all began, his fond memories of the Eclipse nightclub and of course his love for Street Art.
